BANG—
Alia Shaw let out a piercing scream. Suspended in midair, her body suddenly plumted, crashing heavily onto the ground.
Writhing in pain, she curled into a ball, gasping for breath.
Thomas Shannon’s gaze remained fixed on Sophie Sullivan, his expression unreadable.
"HAHAHAHA..."
George Field burst into laughter, twirling the gun in his hand. "Interesting... really interesting!"
He aid the gun at Sophie Sullivan. She shut her eyes abruptly.
BANG—
Her body plumted.
Like Alia Shaw, she crashed to the ground.
Pain...
Her entire body felt like it had shattered; not a single spot was free from pain.
She clenched her teeth, refusing to make a sound.
Cold sweat stread down, stinging her injured face. Sweat had already soaked through the gauze, dampening her wounds.
Thomas Shannon kicked William Field aside and strode towards Sophie Sullivan.
George Field paid him no mind. All these n were his; Thomas Shannon would have a hard ti escaping, even if he sprouted wings.
"Robert Stone!"
The kick from Thomas Shannon was exceptionally vicious. William Field pitched forward, his knees slamming into the ground with a thud.
His agonized wails grew fainter.
"Young Master..." The attendants gathered around, hurriedly removing the black hood covering his head.
When the hood was lifted, everyone gasped.
What a horrifying face! It was a bloody, mangled ss, too grueso to look at.
William Field struggled to open his eyes, swollen as large as walnuts. He looked at George Field. "Father... avenge ... Kill Thomas Shannon."
With every word he spoke, crimson blood oozed from between his teeth.
Finally, he vomited a mouthful of black blood.
His body collapsed to the ground.
"Robert Stone!"
George Field roared and rushed to cradle the unconscious William Field. His son’s body was covered in wounds. Through the fabric, George Field felt a damp stickiness.
He looked at his hand; it was covered in blood.
George Field’s eyes turned crimson. His attendants’ eyes were also bloodshot, burning with the desire to avenge their Young Master.
"Mister, let’s kill Thomas Shannon now and avenge the Young Master!"
George Field certainly wanted to, but this was Country S, Thomas Shannon’s territory. Since Thomas Shannon dared to venture in here alone, it ant he had already laid inescapable traps outside. Even if they wanted to kill him, they had to think twice.

George Field closed his eyes, then snapped them open. He glanced at William Field lying in his arms, fury surging from his heart.
"Fire!"
Thomas Shannon had just helped Sophie to her feet and was about to speak when he heard George Field order his n to fire.
His thin lips pressed into a tight line. He yanked Sophie in front of him, using her as a shield.
Just as the shots were about to ring out, George Field noticed Thomas’s move. He swung his gun towards Alia Shaw. "HAHAHAHA! Thomas Shannon, today your woman dies!"
Instantly, all muzzles turned towards Alia Shaw.
Alia Shaw’s eyes widened in terror, her pupils constricting. She stretched out a hand, desperate to reach Thomas Shannon.
"Thomas..."
BANG! BANG! BANG!—
Thomas Shannon roared, "No!"
"HAHAHAHA..."
George Field and his n unleashed a hail of bullets at Alia Shaw. She collapsed, her wide eyes fixed on Thomas Shannon, unblinking even in death.
The foul air grew thick with the stench of blood.
Nauseating.
Sophie’s heart lurched. A wave of nausea washed over her as soone suddenly gripped her arm tightly.
