The Arab driver suddenly let out a cheer, and before Sophie Sullivan realized what was happening, the jeep-car was already flying through the sky.
It tumbled off the sand dunes, rolling violently down the dune.
"AAAAH..."
Sophie let out a terrified scream.
A hand reached out, tightly gripping her hand that was holding onto the seatbelt.
The car flipped, her body jolted, and her insides felt like they were about to be tossed out.
BOOM—
Everything cald down.
Flipping a car in the desert was a common sight for desert surfing.
Several nearby jeep-cars imdiately rushed over to the rescue, and within three minutes, the well-trained and experienced Arabians had saved them.
"Young Master, are you alright?"
Charlie River asked worriedly, and the n in black gathered around at the sa ti, their faces equally concerned.
Thomas Shannon shook his head, "I’m fine."
He looked at Sophie with concern as her face turned pale and her lips were tinged with an unhealthy blue. She suddenly pushed him away, clutched her stomach, and ran to the side.
"BLECH..."
She bent over at the waist, painfully vomiting.
"The maniac probably has motion sickness."
Thomas Shannon strode over, grabbed a bottle of purified water from the jeep-car, and went to her side.
"Rinse your mouth." He handed the opened bottle of purified water to her.
Sophie took the water, gulped down a mouthful, rinsed her mouth, and spat it all out.
She felt as if she had thrown up bile, and her body was completely drained.
Thomas Shannon took out a handkerchief and wiped the corner of her mouth clean. "How do you feel?"
In a weak voice, Sophie replied, "...In unbearable pain."
"..."
Sophie handed the purified water to him, panting slightly. "Thomas Shannon, can we please go back? Please, I’m begging you, can we?"
She really couldn’t take it anymore.
This was simply a challenge to her limits.
"Unfortunately, our journey has already begun, and we can only move forward; there is no way back." Thomas Shannon shrugged, looking powerless.
What a statent—only able to move forward, no way back.
Sophie nodded her head fiercely, clenched her teeth, and glanced around the vast desert.
Isn’t it just crossing the desert? She, Sophie Sullivan, wouldn’t be afraid!
With her fighting spirit ablaze, Sophie turned and walked off. "Fine, you said crossing the desert, let’s go now!"
After walking so distance with her chest puffed out, Sophie found that Thomas Shannon hadn’t followed her at all.
She turned her head and shouted at Thomas Shannon in the distance, "Thomas Shannon, what are you doing standing there? Hurry up!"
The man standing afar, under the sunshine, was still as dazzlingly handso as ever.
He couldn’t help but laugh, raised his hand, and pointed in the direction behind him. "You’re going the wrong way."
Sophie was speechless.
There was an anger burning in her chest, almost causing her to lose her rationality!
Sophie clenched her fists and ran towards him. "Thomas Shannon, you bastard! Watching go the wrong way and not even saying anything!"
Closer.
Even closer.
Sophie estimated the distance and suddenly pounced on Thomas Shannon. He had anticipated her move and opened his arms wide in advance, securely catching her flying body.
He embraced her tightly.
Thomas Shannon lowered his head and kissed her sun-ward cheek. "Stop ssing around, save your energy."
"Who told you to tease ?" Sophie wrapped her arms around his neck unhappily, raised her head, and bit his chin.
Thomas Shannon let out a muffled grunt, a low and sultry sound.
If the situation weren’t inappropriate, she might have been unable to control herself.
Charlie River received a phone call, his expression grave.
