William Guillen raised his hand, his fingertips gently touching the tip of Fluffy Zane’s ear, which had flushed red because she was lying.
He caressed it softly, a smile on his lips as his voice grew deeper, "Fluffy, tell the truth."
"I don’t know what you’re talking about."
Fluffy Zane pushed him away and stood up, intending to leave.
William Guillen grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. A teasing smile touched his lips, his gaze sharp enough to see right through her. "Fluffy, you’re avoiding ."
"I’m not."
"Then tell , what’s your relationship with Sophie Sullivan?"
"Listen, Guillen Junior. I only just learned from you that the maniac’s na is Sophie Sullivan. You’re asking about my relationship with her? It’s likely just that she offered a simple word of comfort on the adow back then, and that’s how we beca acquainted."
As Fluffy Zane spoke, her heart pounded wildly. She really wasn’t very good at lying.

"Whatever nonsense you want to spout!" Fluffy Zane spun around and stord upstairs.
If she stayed any longer, she feared she’d eventually give herself away.
Shortly after, the telephone rang.
William Guillen picked it up. On the other end, the man in black said respectfully, "Young Master Guillen, where are you? We’ll co and pick you up right now."
"I’m at the Zane Family’s ho."
"Okay, Young Master Guillen, we’ll be there in 20 minutes."
After hanging up, William Guillen had a servant pour him a glass of warm water and took his dicine.
Twenty minutes later, Thomas Shannon’s n had arrived at the doorway of the Zane Family’s ho.
William Guillen got up and walked outside. After a few steps, he suddenly rembered sothing and turned his head to the servant next to him, instructing, "Tell Fluffy I have so matters to attend to and have to leave. She doesn’t need to wait for for dinner tonight."
"Yes, Young Master Guillen."
Leaving the Zane Family’s ho, William Guillen got into the car.
"Young Master Guillen, has our Young Master told you everything?" The man in black turned his head and asked.
William Guillen lit a cigarette and nodded slightly. "Yes, we’re going to the asylum now."
To investigate the maniac’s background, since the na Sophie Sullivan yielded no matching information, their only option was to start their search at the original asylum.
With Thomas Shannon overseas, he could only entrust William Guillen and the man in black to conduct the investigation for now.
Leaving the Imperial City, they journeyed for two hours by air and over an hour by car.
Finally, they arrived at the asylum in a suburban area, overgrown with wild grass.
The asylum had experienced a great fire that reduced everything to ashes.
At this mont, all that remained was the desolate aftermath of the fire.
William Guillen walked around the ruins of the asylum’s buildings. The asylum was small; one could say it was a small-scale institution.
That great fire, it was said, had started suddenly after the maniac escaped.
It was this fire that completely destroyed the asylum.
William Guillen lit another cigarette and looked at the man in black. "Find out who the director of this asylum is."
"Yes, Young Master Guillen."
William Guillen exhaled a smoke ring, his eyes narrowing. "And get the docunts on all staff mbers, including doctors and nurses."
