Fluffy Zane hurriedly washed her hands and headed out of the kitchen.
William Guillen glanced unintentionally at her mobile phone and noticed that the caller was Jim Jones, which instantly killed his mood.
Fluffy Zane ca out with a trot and reached for the mobile phone. After taking it, she ran upstairs with it.
"Hello?"
William Guillen picked up the tea cup and was scalded after taking a sip. Annoyed, he growled, "Who made this tea?!"
Hearing his voice, Fluffy Zane turned back from the staircase. "I made it, is there a problem?"
William Guillen was rely picking at her. "Are you trying to burn to death?"
What a joke!
The water temperature for making tea was supposed to be that high. Couldn’t he have blown on it to cool it down before drinking?
This was the first ti Fluffy Zane had encountered soone so deliberately trying to find fault, and she couldn’t help but get angry. "Don’t nitpick. You should know when to keep your head down."
Ha Ha, as soon as Jim Jones called, her arrogance shot up.
Who gave her the courage? Jim Jones, perhaps?
William Guillen scoffed, "From childhood until now, I’ve never learned to bow my head. I’ve caused enough trouble during these few days, so I’ll leave first."
He picked up the tattered notebook, carefully inserted it into a sealed bag, and left with it.
As Fluffy Zane watched him leave, she bit her lip in frustration and anger.
On the other end of the phone, Jim Jones heard their conversation.
His voice was as gentle as ever, "Fluffy, is that William Guillen?"
"Yeah."
"He’s at your house?"
Anxious that he might misunderstand, Fluffy Zane hurriedly explained, "Jim, don’t get the wrong idea. He has a severe cold, and both Uncle Guillen and Aunt Guillen are on vacation. Sister Fiona is also not around, so Sister Fiona asked to take care of him, which is why I brought him to my house."
"So that’s what happened." Jim Jones’ laughter was pleasant. "Do you have ti tonight? There’s a newly opened Restaurant that tastes good. Want to take you there?"
Fluffy Zane thought about how she hadn’t seen him for a while, and agreed, "Okay, see you tonight."
"I’ll pick you up tonight."
After hanging up the phone, Fluffy Zane went downstairs, intending to clear the tea William Guillen had disliked from the tea table.
As she bent down, she heard footsteps entering.
She looked up and saw an enraged William Guillen returning. She straightened up and asked with a slightly stunned expression, "What’s wrong?"
"I forgot to take my clothes."
"Oh." Fluffy Zane responded casually and tidied up the tea cups.
With the corner of his mouth pressed together, William Guillen stood on the staircase, turned around, and watched her walk back into the kitchen. "What did that Jim Jones call you for?"
"To ask out for dinner." After saying that, Fluffy Zane frowned, suddenly turned her head, and stared at him. "Why are you asking? Are you planning to do sothing to Jim Jones?"
William Guillen leaned against the stair handrails and sneered, "What are you worried about? Are you worried I’ll attack Jim Jones?"
"Considering your history, I can’t help but worry about Jim Jones."
William Guillen’s face darkened. "Fluffy Zane, watch your words."
"Did I say sothing wrong?" Fluffy Zane glared at him and turned back into the kitchen.
Really... Insane!
William Guillen cursed under his breath, "Damn you, Fluffy Zane!"
He stord off, not even bothering to take his clothes.
The servant saw William Guillen drive away and then went into the kitchen with a trot. "Miss, Young Master Guillen is gone."
Fluffy Zane felt a tinge of lancholy in her heart and replied softly, "If he’s gone, he’s gone."
