Suppressing her nausea, Sophie Sullivan asked coldly, "What thod?"
Frank Mitchell chuckled softly, his hand tightening around her slender, soft waist, forcing Sophie Sullivan’s body against his.
"If you co with , Thomas Shannon won’t want you anymore."
"Are you so sure?" Sophie Sullivan scoffed. "Alia Shaw is with you, but doesn’t Thomas Shannon still want her?"
Frank Mitchell squinted, a cold glint in his eyes. "You’re wrong. Thomas Shannon never had her. Only I have possessed her body."
"So what?"
"If you co with , you can escape Thomas Shannon. Isn’t that a pleasing solution?"
Sophie Sullivan took a deep breath, mustering all her strength to stomp on Frank Mitchell’s foot. Taking advantage of his montary distraction from the pain, she jumped a few steps back, distancing herself from him.
Frank Mitchell’s face twisted in pain, and the look in his eyes instantly darkened. "You maniac! You refused the wine, and now you must face the punishnt!"
"Frank Mitchell, do you think I’m the kind of person who jumps out of one fire pit just to fall into another?"
Go with him? That was the most sickening thing Sophie Sullivan had heard all year. Nothing else even ca close! He couldn’t even compare to one of Thomas Shannon’s fingertips, yet he dared to want her. What a pipe dream! She wasn’t blind, nor was her brain muddled. Why would she leave Thomas Shannon for him? Frank Mitchell’s priority right now shouldn’t be dealing with Thomas Shannon; he needed to get his head checked.
Her mocking expression and the contemptuous look in her eyes thoroughly ignited the rage simring in Frank Mitchell’s heart.
He sneered, his face beginning to contort. He lightly lifted the foot she had trampled, shook it in the air a couple of tis, and then set it down.
"Maniac, you have no choice!"
The mont his voice fell, Frank Mitchell lunged at Sophie Sullivan.
Sophie Sullivan turned to run, but Frank Mitchell’s long arm shot out, snagging her into his embrace. In the midst of her fierce struggle, she managed to slap him hard across the face.
SMACK!
A crisp sound echoed.
Frank Mitchell froze, his eyes turning bloodshot as he glared viciously at her.
Ti seed to stand still.
Sophie Sullivan panted, not daring to hesitate. She imdiately lunged, aiming for Frank Mitchell’s neck!
She was fast, but Frank Mitchell was faster.
Just as her hand was about to reach his neck, Frank Mitchell seized her wrist tightly and twisted it.
A piercing pain shot from her wrist, radiating through her limbs.
Sophie Sullivan’s face turned pallid from the pain. Cold sweat quickly beaded on her forehead, and her small face was drained of all color.
"Frank Mitchell, let go!" Her lips trembled, and her voice grew weaker.
Frank Mitchell sneered. "You’re the first woman who dares to hit . I’ve never liked won acting presumptuously before . Maniac, you’re no exception!"
With those harsh words, Frank Mitchell hoisted her up and strode toward the bedroom.
The world spun, and before Sophie Sullivan could process what was happening, Frank Mitchell threw her heavily onto the bed.
He curled his lips into a sinister, ghost-like smile, his gaze burning as it fixed on her body.
"Today, I’m going to find out just what this body of yours tastes like!"
Sophie Sullivan propped herself up with her hands, inching backward on the bed. Fear flickered in her eyes, but she still managed a low snarl, "Frank Mitchell, I warn you! Don’t co any closer!"
"Save your warnings. You can tell them to slowly later, when I’m taking you."
