Sophie’s heart lted completely. She hugged Lucifer. "Alright, I know you’ll protect ."
Like a house cat being petted, Lucifer affectionately rubbed his chin against the top of her head.
The hostility in his eyes gradually faded, replaced by an expression of intoxicating tenderness and doting affection.
"If Thomas Shannon dares to bully , I’ll tell you, and you can help get revenge. Okay?"
This was the only solution Sophie could think of.
There’s no way Thomas Shannon would allow Lucifer into the manor. Even assuming the impossible, if he allowed Lucifer inside—
Once those two extrely dangerous individuals t, there would likely be fierce battles every day.
To avoid a bloody scene, keeping the two of them apart was the best solution.
"Lucifer, promise ." Sophie raised her head, her beautiful, hazy eyes now holding a trace of seriousness.
She wasn’t joking; she was serious.
Realizing this, Lucifer sighed, almost inaudibly, and reluctantly nodded. "I promise you."
Sophie’s eyes crinkled in a slight smile as she raised her hand to touch his smooth, handso face. "Good boy~"
Lucifer: "..."
He stiffened, looking down at the woman before him. Did she really think she could placate him as if he were Gaby?
With a light cough, Lucifer said in a deep voice, "Cecilia, I am a man."
"I know."
"A man’s face isn’t to be touched so casually."
"Not even by ?" Sophie gazed at him, her eyes tinged with a faint sadness.
Lucifer’s resolve softened. "Alright... you can. But you shouldn’t coax a man like that."
"Then how should one coax them?" Sophie asked, completely bewildered.
She gazed at him, her eyes misty with confusion and bewildernt, like a fawn lost in a dense, foggy forest. She looked so exquisitely pitiful, yet so endearing, it tugged at one’s heartstrings, making it hard to remain unmoved...
Lucifer looked up, took a deep breath, and surrendered completely. "Alright, Cecilia. Have it your way."

Man in black: "..."
Terrible! If the Young Master saw this, that maniac would be in serious trouble!
After soothing Lucifer, Sophie watched him depart, then turned and stepped onto the manor grounds.
She got into the car, and the man in black drove her to the front of the castle.
"Maniac, get out of the car."
The black Bentley slowed to a stop. The man in black, seemingly impatient, quickly opened the car door for her to get out.
Sophie took a deep breath, steeling herself before she bent down and stepped out of the car.
She had just stepped out of the car and onto the steps leading to the castle when she saw Minimus Hart standing at the top of them.
Sophie’s brow furrowed. What an unwelco surprise.
Minimus Hart watched her with a smirk, looking as though he had been waiting for quite so ti.
Expressionless, Sophie ascended the steps, brushed past Minimus Hart, and walked inside the castle.
"The Young Master is dining in the Restaurant."
Emily Hart, who had followed Sophie, also entered the castle.
Sophie paid no heed to her words and headed straight upstairs.
A hand fell heavily on her shoulder. Sophie whirled around. Minimus Hart was gripping her shoulder. "Maniac, are you deaf? Didn’t you hear what I said? The Young Master is dining in the Restaurant. If you’re not going to the Restaurant, where do you think you’re going?"
"Let go."
Minimus Hart scoffed. "Maniac, don’t get too comfortable with the Young Master’s favor. He dislikes being kept waiting. You’d best not make him wait too long."
Spoiled by favor? So, even Emily Hart knew that she, Sophie Sullivan, was different from the other maids?
Sophie slapped Minimus Hart’s hand away, then raised her own to rub her shoulder.
