He had no appetite at all.
His expression was grim as he picked up his wine glass and took a couple of sips.
Sitting beside him, Raina Bell was on pins and needles, unable to guess what the Young Master truly ant.
Is he angry?
Because of ... or because of Sophie Sullivan?
Raina Bell said timidly, "Young Master, I’m sorry..."
"Hm?"
"I... I only intended to provoke the little maniac just now. I didn’t expect... I didn’t expect her to see through it." Raina Bell bit her lower lip hard. She also hadn’t expected that the Sullivan Estate would know the Young Master didn’t eat onions.
A wave of frustration washed over her. Why didn’t she know sothing that even Sophie knew?

His cold eyes held a hint of disdain. "Think before you speak or act next ti. Understand?" he said coolly.
Raina Bell trembled all over; she could deeply feel the anger radiating from him.

Raina Bell nodded cautiously, her voice noticeably trembling. "Yes... Yes, Young Master, I understand..."
"Get lost." Thomas Shannon withdrew his hand and said impatiently.
Raina Bell stood up, aggrieved. After a long look at the cold-hearted man, she turned and stumbled out of the Restaurant.
Minimus Hart stopped Raina Bell. Her eyebrows knitted as her gaze went past Raina’s shoulder, looking behind her.
Not seeing Thomas Shannon, she couldn’t help but lower her voice, suppressing her anger. "What’s wrong with you? Why did you run out?"
Raina Bell’s eyes reddened with grievance. "The Young Master told to leave..."
"Useless good-for-nothing!" Minimus Hart cursed, then looked away.
She hadn’t known how to make use of this hard-won opportunity, and she’d even gotten herself kicked out.
Truly a hopeless case!
Raina Bell clenched her fists, ran past Minimus Hart, and fled outside.
"Young Master, aren’t you really going to check on the little maniac?" Charlie River, watching Thomas Shannon drinking moodily by himself, asked tentatively.
Thomas Shannon gulped down more wine and shot him a cold, sidelong glance. "Since when is it your place to ddle in my affairs?"
Charlie River chuckled. "Young Master, my apologies. I just noticed the little maniac seems quite angry. If you make her angry, she’ll only make things difficult for you in the end."
"Shut up!"
Charlie River: "..."
Young Master, can’t a man even speak the truth anymore?
After a couple more drinks, Thomas Shannon, now slightly tipsy, propped his head on his hand. His eyelids drooped slightly. "Where’s Harry?"
"Young Master, Harry has defected." Charlie River said with forced seriousness, trying to suppress his laughter.
Thomas Shannon lifted his eyelids, a flicker of confusion in his cold eyes. "Hm?"
"Harry went with the little maniac."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
One after another, they’re all rebelling against !
After a mont, Thomas Shannon stood up, left the Restaurant, and went upstairs.
Just as he entered the study room, William Guillen’s call ca through.
"Shannon..." William Guillen’s weak, tired voice ca over the line.
Thomas Shannon leaned back against his boss chair, massaging his temples with one hand. "What’s wrong?"
"Regarding the asylum where the little maniac is kept, I can’t find any leads. The director and the Vice Dean are clean. I’ve checked their family histories for three generations—no prior misconduct, no criminal records, and no history of hereditary family illnesses..."
William Guillen’s tone suddenly shifted, growing serious. "By the way, I found a notebook in that asylum."
