"Gabriel played with her."
Sophie shrugged indifferently. "However, Minimus Hart couldn’t stand playing. After two rounds, she got dizzy."
Sophie stared at Thomas Shannon without blinking, unwilling to miss any subtle expression on his face.
Thomas Shannon hooked the corner of his mouth slightly and raised his hand. Just as his fingertips were about to touch her face, Sophie quickly dodged her head back.
She looked at him warily. "What do you want to do?"
"Fennie, what are you feeling guilty about?"
She wasn’t guilty!
Sophie pursed her lips. Thomas Shannon’s hand covered her face, his calloused fingertips caressing her skin. "What are you thinking?"
"Aren’t you angry?"
The person she hurt was Minimus Hart.
His loyal servant leader, who had done so much for him.
"Why should I be angry?"
Listening to Thomas Shannon’s deep, magnetic voice, Sophie’s heart softened. She lowered her eyelids halfway. "Minimus Hart..."
She told him already, didn’t she? She let Gabriel drag Minimus Hart to play.
She was badly injured now.
"Who is she to ?"
Of course, she was his servant!
Just as Sophie was about to speak, she lifted her eyelids and looked curiously at Thomas Shannon’s enigmatic expression. "Who am I to you?"
"Fennie is my woman."
"What about Minimus Hart?"
"She’s not."
Sophie laughed, wriggled away from his hand, and tilted her head slightly. "So, you’re not going to be mad at ?"
Thomas Shannon lowered his head, his deep eyes focused on her intensely. Sophie saw her own reflection in his gaze, her face upturned towards him. "You haven’t answered ."
"Not mad."
"Really?"
Thomas Shannon, who was questioned, lifted his eyebrow tips and held her delicate chin with one hand, his handso face gradually leaning down. "When did I ever deceive you?"
Sophie blinked in confusion, her beautiful eyes becoming increasingly hazy. "Why are you suddenly so nice to ?"
"What do you think?"
Wasn’t it her own idea of the scoring system?!
"You like ." After looking at him for a while, Sophie concluded.
Thomas Shannon hooked the corner of his lips, a wicked smile on his face. "And what about you?"
"I like you a little bit too." Sophie smiled. "Especially when you’re good to , I’ll like you more than just a little bit."
"HEH." Thomas Shannon chuckled in a low voice. Her little bit of affection is really precious.
On both sides of the dining table, the maidservants and maids stood with their heads bowed, pressing them down even lower.
After dinner, Thomas Shannon went upstairs to take a bath. Sophie took this opportunity to go to the fountain and telephone Lucifer.
She didn’t know if it was just her imagination, but she always felt that Lucifer’s voice sounded strange.
As for what was strange about it, she couldn’t pinpoint it for a while.
It was just an intuition.
"Lucifer, tell , are you sick?"
Lucifer laughed softly. "Dear, I was just about to tell you I have a cold, but you’ve already guessed it. Are you worried about too?"
"Of course." Sophie nodded, even though she hadn’t regained her mory yet.
But from their first eting until now, everything Lucifer had done for her was etched in her heart.
She also felt an innate sense of warmth and familiarity towards Lucifer from within her heart, probably because they had grown up together; their friendship of over twenty years was already deeply buried in their bones and blood.
Even in her amnesiac state, she couldn’t change the familiarity and warmth she felt towards him.
It was an instinctive trust.
