Mister Duke and the Duchess had already learned the news of Cecilia Branford waking up from her serious injuries.
The Duchess insisted on personally visiting Onassis Old Castle to see Cecilia, the precious daughter of her best friend, the child she had watched grow up.
Lucifer made the excuse of being unwell and didn’t want to go, but the Duchess dragged him from the bed by his ear.

Seeing the Duchess was about to get angry, Lucifer reluctantly nodded. "Alright, Mommy, just give so ti to prepare."
Only then did the Duchess smile.
She let go of Lucifer’s ear and turned to leave the bedroom.
"Your Highness, are you alright?" Leo, standing beside him, asked with a smile. Only the Duchess and Miss Cecilia Branford dared to pull His Highness Lucifer’s ear.
Lucifer rubbed his ear and said with a light smile, "I’m fine."
Suddenly, his expression turned gentle yet sinister, his eyes glinting with a cunning wickedness.
For the ti being, he couldn’t tell the Duchess about Cecilia’s situation. However, with activity at Onassis Old Castle, he couldn’t feign complete ignorance either. If his behavior beca abnormal, it might arouse suspicion. After all, he and Cecilia Branford were inseparable. Cecilia Branford had woken up. It wouldn’t make sense, either logically or emotionally, for him not to visit her.
After changing into formal wear, Lucifer went downstairs. The Duchess was on the sofa, personally inspecting the gifts prepared by the butler. Seeing Lucifer, she raised her head and smiled brilliantly. "Lucifer, co quickly! These are all prepared for Cecilia. See if anything is missing."
Lucifer glanced at the supplents and gifts piled high on the tea table and said, sowhat perfunctorily, "Mommy, Cecilia isn’t a superficial person. Let’s leave these jewels behind."
He didn’t want the fake Cecilia to benefit from them. He would keep these jewels safe for the real Cecilia for the ti being.

"Mommy." Lucifer put his arm around the Duchess’s shoulder, his deep blue eyes as gentle as water. "Cecilia has just woken up; her body must be very weak. What she needs are supplents, not jewelry."

The Duchess compromised.
The group boarded the black Rolls-Royce, marked with the royal emblem, and headed for Onassis Old Castle.
Onassis Old Castle, bathed in sunshine, appeared even more magnificent and majestic.
The fleet arrived smoothly in front of the castle.
The butler and servants were lined up to greet them. "Welco, Duchess and Young Master Lucifer."
"Take us to see Cecilia," Lucifer said concisely, wasting no words.
The butler bowed. "Duchess, Young Master, please follow ."
Cecilia Branford had already been moved from the ward back to her bedroom, where she was being served by doctors, nurses, and servants 24 hours a day.
The spacious bedroom was luxuriously dreamy.
On the high, four-poster bed, its curtains drawn open on all sides, Cecilia Branford was half-reclining against the head of the bed. She wore a moon-white silk robe. Her cascading long hair, black as ink, spilled lazily from her shoulders.
"Miss Cecilia Branford, the Duchess and Young Master Lucifer are here to see you," the butler announced respectfully.
The Duchess’s eyes reddened with emotion. She quickly walked up to the bed. "My dear Cecilia, you’re finally awake!"
