"First, answer my question. Why won’t you let go downstairs?"
Thomas Shannon held Harry in one hand and pinched Sophie Sullivan’s chin with the other, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Why, you want to et my father?"
Does she even realize what eting his father ans? He’d never brought any woman to et his parents before.
"What if I say I want to et him?"
He is clearly trying to change the subject now! This isn’t about whether I want to et his father or not; his father is already here. It’s wrong for him to keep locked in the bedroom! He definitely has ulterior motives! Does he think I’m not worthy of eting his father? Or am I just not important enough to him to et his father?
Sophie Sullivan’s anger was written all over her face. Her beautiful eyes, radiating layers of icy disdain, shot daggers at him.
"You can’t et my father yet. Only my wife is qualified to et my father and mother with ."
"Hmph!" Sophie Sullivan snorted coldly, shoving his hand away, and said angrily, "Gaby, let’s go!"
To hell with Thomas Shannon! He can go sleep with whoever he wants! I don’t want him anymore! Whoever wants him can have him!
Thomas Shannon grabbed her wrist tightly, yanking her back as she angrily tried to leave. With his other hand, still holding Harry, he attempted to place the cat on the sofa. But Harry, that coward, upon seeing Gaby, just burrowed deeper into Thomas Shannon’s embrace. Its claws dug into his shirt, refusing to let go!
Helpless, Thomas Shannon could only continue holding Harry. He switched his grip on her wrist to encircle her slender waist, pulling her body against his. "When will you ever change this bad habit of trying to run away from ho at the slightest disagreent?"
"..."
"Look up at ."
"Why should I listen to you?" Sophie Sullivan sneered coldly. "Even Lucifer wouldn’t dare order around like this!"
Thomas Shannon laughed softly. "I’m not Lucifer; I’m your man. Listen, Sophie Sullivan, only my wife is qualified to et my father and mother. You’re just my girlfriend now, so you’re not qualified. But..."
He drew out the last word, his narrow eyes crinkling slightly as he studied her expression.
Her curiosity piqued by his teasing, Sophie Sullivan petulantly thumped his chest twice. "But what?"
"If you’re willing to marry , I’ll take you to et my father and mother right now."
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
Thomas Shannon lowered his head, his thin lips gently rubbing against her flawless cheek. "Fennie, will you marry ?"
Sophie Sullivan finally understood. He’d gone to such lengths, beaten around the bush so much, all to trick her into marrying him.
Sophie Sullivan shook her head. "I don’t want to."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
His first informal marriage proposal in his life had been rejected. A flicker of frustration crossed the man’s cold eyes.
He angrily bit her red lips. "Why don’t you want to?"
"Because I haven’t planned on getting married yet." Sophie Sullivan spread her hands helplessly. "My great vengeance is unfulfilled; I have no heart for marriage."
"Marry , and I’ll help you take revenge." Thomas Shannon’s voice was low and hoarse, laced with infinite temptation. "Everything I have is yours. You can take revenge however you want, entirely as you wish."
"But... Lucifer can also help take revenge."
aning, my childhood sweetheart can help get revenge without asking for anything in return. Why should I marry you?
Thomas Shannon was truly about to explode with anger because of her. "That’s not the sa! Lucifer is Lucifer, I am ! He’s your friend, and I am your man!"
