"Derek, get ready, I’m taking Gaby back to Country F."
Thomas Shannon, holding the tray, suddenly had a sullen, handso face.
She’s going back to Country F, imdiately?
He pushed open the door, Sophie saw him, her expression unchanged, ending the call with Derek before finally putting down the mobile phone.
She struggled to sit up, about to get out of bed, Thomas Shannon had already arrived at the bedside and sat down first.
Placing the tray on the bedside table, he wrapped one arm around the sitting Sophie into his embrace, "Fennie, you’re weak, don’t get out of bed. Just tell whatever you want."
"I don’t need it." Sophie struggled, pulling away from his embrace, but the next second, her body was wrapped in his embrace again.
This ti, he used more force, her body collided with his hard chest, causing a slight pain in her shoulder.
She frowned, thought for a mont, and said, "Thomas Shannon, I’ve thought about it carefully, we are not suitable."
"Fennie, I don’t understand what you’re saying."
Thomas Shannon’s thin lips held a smile, he picked up the ginger brown sugar water with one hand, softening his voice, "Here, let feed you."
What a way to not understand what she’s saying.
Sophie lifted her delicate chin, her bewildered beautiful eyes showing traces of coldness, "Thomas Shannon, I’ve made myself very clear, we are not suitable. So, let’s end it."
The man’s cold eyes at that mont, shot out hostility, "Fennie, I don’t accept your reason. At least in my view, we are very suitable, whether physically or otherwise. So, we will not end."
"Thomas Shannon, why haven’t I realized that you’re such a shaless person?"
Thomas Shannon hooked a smile, his eyes cold, "It’s not too late to realize now."
The spoon was brought to her lips, Sophie turned her head away, "I won’t drink."
"Fine, if you don’t want to drink, you don’t have to. Just tell when you feel like drinking."
Thomas Shannon did not force her, since she didn’t want to drink, he simply put down the bowl, focusing intently on holding her.
Her furrowed brows, Thomas Shannon pretended not to see, and spoke to himself, "The doctor said you’re weak, don’t run around during your nstrual period, you need to lie down and rest more."
"Thomas Shannon, whether you accept or not, it doesn’t matter. In short..." Sophie raised her eyes, looking at him, "We’re over."
"It’s not over, it won’t end."
Thomas Shannon clasped the back of her head, his thin lips kissed fiercely.
The kiss held a mix of gentleness and roughness, as if he wanted to devour her whole.
The long kiss ceased.
Sophie was left breathless from the kiss, her tongue tingled, lips swollen, her watery eyes even more enchanting.
"You..."
The raised hand, before it could swing, was intercepted by him in mid-air, "Fennie, you know, I’m just angry with you. That night in the hospital, you left behind; shouldn’t I be angry?"
"You lied to , hid things from , aren’t there enough?" Sophie sneered, he should be angry, but shouldn’t she as well?
Why did Lillian Spencer approach her out of nowhere, for what?
What’s the connection between them?
Who is that sweet girl, is she his younger sister, or a woman related to him?
All these things, when did he ever tell her the truth?
Sophie began to gradually believe that her feelings for him might just be Stockholm Syndro as Lucifer said.
Given so ti, she would wake up.
"Fine, we both made mistakes." Thomas Shannon held her, lowering his head.
