Linda found that Edward Benson was treating her increasingly well.
It’s fair to say he was attentive to every detail of her daily life, taking care of everything personally, leaving nothing out.
Linda sat on the sofa flipping through a magazine, spotted Edward Benson coming out from inside the kitchen carrying a fruit plate.
"Linda, I just made a fruit plate with all the fruits you like to eat."
Edward Benson placed the fruit plate in front of her, handing her a fruit fork, Linda lifted her eyelids, looking at him, "I don’t like fruit."
Edward Benson didn’t argue with her, just encouraged, "Then try a bit."
Linda put down the magazine, took the fruit fork he handed over, it was clear he had put in effort into arranging the fruit plate.
Linda ate a piece of kiwifruit and waterlon, then put down the fruit fork.
"Why, is it not good?" Edward Benson’s eyes couldn’t hide the disappointnt, he had tasted all the fruits beforehand, only the ones sweet enough did he arrange on the plate.
Ensuring every piece of fruit she ate was sweet.
"I don’t like it." Linda said blandly, picking up the magazine and continued flipping through it.
She didn’t know how long this kind of life would continue; she didn’t want to share space with Edward Benson, let alone live under the sa roof with him.

Edward Benson took the magazine out of her hand, sat down beside her as she looked at him in surprise, and said softly, "Staying in the house all the ti, are you bored? The weather is good today, why don’t we go out for so fun, how about it?"

At the ntion of the Amusent Park, Linda instinctively scoffed, "I won’t go to such a place."
"Why?" Edward Benson frowned, "You used to love going to the Amusent Park, and whenever I had ti, you’d pull along to ride the carrousel..."

Lillian Spencer’s indifferent voice drifted through the radio wave, "How’s the affair progressing?"
Speaking of progress, Linda felt a wave of guilt.
