She doesn’t know how long Lillian Spencer can wait. Before her patience runs out, she must complete the mission.
Lillian Spencer chuckled softly, "Linda, how do you feel now that you’re with Edward Benson?"

Linda frowned, instinctively repelling the question, "Miss, I don’t feel anything, just want to complete the mission quickly so I can report back to the Presidential Mansion as soon as possible."
"Really?"
Lillian Spencer asked casually, her tone suggesting a mix of belief and disbelief.
Unable to decipher her thoughts, Linda could only solemnly say, "Miss, rest assured, I have no inappropriate feelings for Edward Benson, nor will I forget my identity and mission because of this. Please believe , I will not disappoint you this ti."
"Alright, rember your words, Linda."
"Yes, I won’t dare to forget!"
After hanging up the phone, Linda lay on the bed | on, closing her eyes. Her mind was in turmoil, the urgency to complete the mission preventing her from calming down.
In the evening, Edward Benson indeed ca upstairs to call her.
Standing outside the door, Edward Benson knocked, "Linda, are you awake? Dinner is ready, co downstairs for dinner."
Linda opened the door, glanced at Edward Benson, and nodded lightly.
The two went down the stairs together, and on the dining table, Linda was the first to break the silence, "I don’t want to stay inside all the ti, I want to go out for a walk."
"Where do you want to go? I’ll accompany you."
Knowing he wouldn’t agree to let her go alone, Linda had no choice but to nod.
She agreed.
After dinner, Edward Benson took Linda out to watch a movie, strolled through the flower market, and bought her a large bouquet of flowers.
At 12:00 p.m., he took her to the riverbank to set off fireworks.
The fireworks blood brilliantly in the night sky, only to fade away again into the nightfall after a brief length of ti.
Linda raised her head, her gaze engrossed in the fireworks, a bit dazed.
"Linda, co over here."
Edward Benson called to her, Linda placed the roses in her embrace down casually and walked towards Edward Benson.
Edward Benson handed her a few sparklers, "Why so glum, are you not happy?"
The sparklers, burning brightly, quickly burned out.
Linda lowered her head, silently shaking it, "No."
"Don’t you like playing with these?" Edward Benson realized this, an expression of guilt appearing on his face, "Sorry, I didn’t ask you, I made assumptions. I thought you’d like them, didn’t realize..."
The things he took her to do were all Isla Stanley’s favorites in the past.
He privately thought that bringing her to do them might trigger a faint mory or impression.
Edward Benson had forgotten, she is now Linda, not Isla Stanley.
What Isla liked, Linda disliked. If Isla was a little white rabbit, then Linda was a strong Persian cat.
She enclosed herself within a thick protective layer, not letting anyone near.
Linda suddenly sighed, her gaze drifting towards the neon-reflecting river surface, "Did you and I... like playing with these things in the past?"
Hearing her ask about the past, Edward Benson was overjoyed, "Yes, in the past, you liked very girly things, like delicate roses, and brilliant fireworks."
Pausing for a mont, he continued, "Sorry Linda, I know you don’t want to ntion the past, I’ll be more mindful in the future."
