The autumn cicadas had droned on throughout the day, until the clouds turned red with the sunset, their noise finally drowned out by the sound of traffic and people.
Ruan ngxi chatted with Tang Wan for a while in Guantang Villa, then went ho for a quick shower, changed into a bright red long dress, and applied delicate makeup. Wearing high heels, she looked like a proud queen.

"Assistant Ruan?" The receptionist called out, sowhat incredulously.
"Hello." Ruan ngxi smiled and greeted them, heading straight to the accounting office on the 8th floor. She was eting with her forr colleagues for dinner that evening, and also went to the office to pick up her paycheck.
When she received her pay slip, she furrowed her brows slightly, "Accountant Qian, is this an error?"
"No error, it includes a subsidy for three months, specifically instructed by Assistant Xiaozhu."
According to standard company procedures, soone like Ruan ngxi, who resigned voluntarily, was lucky not to have to pay a penalty. How could she have received a subsidy?

So one bout of madness was enough.
If the club really did close, she likely wouldn’t stay in Beijing either.
Although Tang Wan was there, she also had her own life, unlike back in school when they could hang out together every day.
Qi Zeyan looked at her without saying anything.
"Boss, I’m going out with the colleagues for dinner tonight, would you like to join?" Ruan ngxi knew he wouldn’t co but asked symbolically.
