As soon as An Jing had finished washing her face, Changyi entered the bathroom to wash his face before coming out.
As for the bath, he had already taken it after dinner.
Once out, Changyi took off his suit jacket, placed it on the chair beside him, and then lay down on the small hospital bed.
An Jing had already made so room, and as Changyi lay on his side, An Jing turned into his embrace, and once Changyi held her, they both shifted towards the middle of the bed.
Even though the bed was small and cramped, their hearts were full. And very sweet.
"Honey, having you by my side is really nice." Nestled in his arms, she sighed with happiness.
Changyi didn’t say a word, just curved his mouth into a slight smile and bent down to exchange a kiss with her, a familiar kiss that felt sowhat alien to them both, making them hold each other a little tighter.
Finally, she/he had found him/her.
Before going to sleep, Changyi made a phone call to Lu Yimi, explaining a few things.
It wasn’t until Changyi hung up the call and placed his phone back on the bedside table that An Jing bead, "You’ve adapted really well here."
"All thanks to the original owner’s mory."
"Then could you get a smartphone to play with tomorrow? My phone is so outdated."
"Just tell what you want, no need to hold back with ." With that, he playfully and lightly bit her lip, feeling a little discontent.
It didn’t hurt at all, An Jing chuckled lightly, "I’ve never held back with you."
Changyi was very satisfied with An Jing’s words, kissed her forehead, and turned off the light, softly saying, "Sleep."
"Mm." After a pause, "It’s still cozier in your arms."
Changyi’s lips curved slightly.
The two slept soundly through the night.
The next morning, An Jing woke up in Changyi’s arms, and seeing Changyi first thing was indescribably wonderful, so she lifted her head and kissed him.
Changyi greatly appreciated An Jing’s initiative, and they kissed for quite a while before stopping. When they got up, Changyi helped An Jing wash up. Only after he’d assisted her did he go to freshen up himself.
When he returned, he went to the bed to help An Jing massage her stiff limbs.
Although she was content sleeping in his arms, the bed was indeed too small; all night long, they barely dared to move.
"Want to give you a massage?" An Jing asked with a smile while enjoying Changyi’s ticulous care.
It’s truly only him who had cared for her so thoroughly, day in and day out for decades.
Changyi shook his head.
"An Jing, I’ll..." Suddenly, Nurse Chen pushed the door open and saw a captivatingly handso man massaging An Jing’s legs as she sat on the hospital bed, causing the words in her mouth to trail off. "And this is...?"
An Jing bead, "Sister Chen, you’re here. Right, this is my boyfriend. We had a fight before, but once he heard I was in the hospital, he imdiately ca to see , and we reconciled. He ca last night and didn’t leave. He’s already helped with my morning routine, so there’s no need to trouble you anymore."
Nurse Chen continued to stare at Changyi, "Your boyfriend is quite the looker. But, he seems so familiar."
It was only then that Changyi spoke, "My na is Su Changyi."
Nurse Chen’s eyes widened, covering her mouth to prevent herself from shouting out. No wonder he seed familiar; Su Changyi, the head of the Su Group, was often reported in the news.
