"Master!"
Before Chen Yang could even introduce them, Li ngzi, too excited to wait, dropped to his knees on his own and shouted "Master" at the Taoist Liu.
His sudden move stunned both Chen Yang and the Taoist Liu.

Chen Yang understood what the Taoist Liu ant, so he nodded and followed him into the house.
Li ngzi wasn’t stupid; he didn’t follow them in, just stayed kneeling out in the courtyard, full of expectation.

And Chen Yang didn’t hide anything; he directly went over the general situation.

Once outside, the Taoist Liu started laying down the rules for Li ngzi.

Hearing that the Taoist Liu seed willing to accept him, Li ngzi was overjoyed.

"Alright, then listen carefully." The Taoist Liu nodded, then laid out eight conditions in one go.
Most of them were rules like not disgracing the sect and not doing anything that violates heaven and conscience.
Eager to beco a disciple, Li ngzi agreed to everything in one breath.
"Alright, since you can agree to them all, you’ll stay in my temple. For now I’ll take you in as a registered disciple. As for what cos next, we’ll see how you perform." The Taoist Liu said.
"Thank you, Master!" Li ngzi kowtowed in excitent.
"Okay, now that you’ve taken him in, I’ll get going first!"
Seeing that the apprenticeship had gone through, Chen Yang didn’t stay any longer. After saying a couple of farewells to the Taoist Liu, he left first.
Around four in the afternoon, he drove to the county town to look for a restaurant.
He went around picking and still didn’t feel any of them looked particularly good.
"Why don’t I just go for so local specialties—head to the River Fish House. Haven’t gone to sit at Sister Caiyun’s place for ages."
The idea suddenly ca to Chen Yang; maybe having so specialties would be even better.
So he imdiately drove from the county town to the River Fish House.
Luckily he went fairly early, so the River Fish House hadn’t hit full capacity yet, though it was almost there.
"Boss lady, give a small table, one for two or three people." Chen Yang walked into the River Fish House and spoke toward the front desk.
Yang Caiyun was in a cheongsam, sitting at the front desk doing bills. The voice sounded familiar; she looked up and saw that it was actually Chen Yang!
She was overjoyed!
"Yang Zi! How co you suddenly showed up!" It’d been quite a while since Yang Caiyun had seen Chen Yang; it was impossible to say she hadn’t missed him.
She’d wanted to ask Chen Yang out several tis, but every ti she thought about how busy he was, she gave up the idea.
Now that he suddenly appeared in front of her, she was naturally pleasantly surprised.
"Sis, I’ve got a business partner I’m eting here for dinner today, and I thought I’d drop by to see you too." Chen Yang glanced around; seeing no one nearby, he laid on the flattery: "Sis, I haven’t seen you for a while and you’ve beco even more gorgeous."
"Get out, you’re all sweet talk. I thought you were here just to see , turns out you still have business to do." Yang Caiyun complained with her mouth, but the smile on her face just wouldn’t go away.

"Yeah right, as if I don’t know you. I’ll arrange a table for you first. When you’re done with your business, I’ll co find you to settle the score." A blush suddenly crept onto Yang Caiyun’s face as she shot Chen Yang a spring-filled glare.
That mature charm of hers could kill a man.
Chen Yang just gave a silly grin and didn’t say anything more.
Right after that, Yang Caiyun called over a waiter and had them lead Chen Yang to a fairly secluded spot in the restaurant, convenient for talking business.
After sitting down, Chen Yang imdiately sent his location to that Jin Shixuan.
"Okay, President Chen, I’ll be right there."
Jin Shixuan replied very quickly—almost instant.
Seeing her response, Chen Yang didn’t send more ssages. He started ordering instead.
Since he was at the River Fish House, the specialties were a must.
Wild mountain mushrooms paired with genuine river fish, plus he ordered quite a few small dishes.
"Let’s start with these. If I need anything else, I’ll call you."
"Alright, sir, please wait a mont."
The waiter left politely.
Chen Yang sat at the table and waited.
While waiting, his eyes naturally drifted toward the front desk.
He found that Yang Caiyun was also watching him.
There was joy and a hint of complaint in that little look of hers.
Given how long it had been since he ca by, it was normal for her to have so feelings about it.
After waiting ten, twenty minutes or so, a beauty with bright red hair, a khaki blazer on top and a pleated skirt on the bottom, full of youthful energy, walked into the River Fish House.
As soon as she ca in, her eyes started searching around.
Most of the people in the restaurant turned their eyes to her.
Her vibe was young and vibrant, and her looks were stunning, with a face that could rival a celebrity’s—very eye-catching.
Of course, Chen Yang also noticed her right away.
He took out his phone and compared her with the profile picture in their chat app.
Chen Yang was sure that she was Jin Shixuan.
"Teacher Jin, over here."
Chen Yang stood up and waved toward the entrance.
Jin Shixuan’s eyes happened to land on Chen Yang’s side. Seeing him wave at her, she imdiately walked over with her bag on her back, looking composed and elegant.

Walking up to the table, Jin Shixuan asked politely.

"Nice to et you, President Chen." Once she saw it was really him, Jin Shixuan quickly and warmly shook hands with Chen Yang.
"Please sit, Teacher Jin."
After a round of basic pleasantries, the River Fish House began serving dishes.
"Teacher Jin, how co you ca alone? Didn’t Li Han co with you?" Chen Yang had thought that as the go-between, Li Han would co together with this Jin Shixuan.
But unexpectedly, she’d co alone.
"Hehe, I actually had agreed with Li Han that we’d co together, but sothing ca up at her company, so she couldn’t make it." Jin Shixuan said with a smile.
"So that’s how it is. Teacher Jin, please eat first. We can talk about the cooperation later." Chen Yang nodded and politely gestured for Jin Shixuan to start eating.
"Alright, President Chen." Jin Shixuan also nodded, then picked up her chopsticks and started.
As they ate, they gradually opened up the conversation.
They started talking about matters related to the school.
