When Wang ili realized the man she was embracing wasn’t her beloved Zhao Rong but the assistant, she imdiately let go. In a flash, she wrapped a towel around herself and slapped the assistant across the face. "Assistant, why is it you?"
The slap made him see stars. The assistant complained, "Weren’t you the one hugging , asking to scrub your back and join you in the bath? Why did you just slap ?"
Hearing this, Wang ili slapped him again, hard enough to draw blood from the corner of his mouth. "I asked Zhao Rong to scrub my back! I asked Zhao Rong to join ! Who asked you to bathe with ?"
Ignoring the assistant’s words, Wang ili snatched a glass bottle of shampoo from the counter and smashed it over his head. "Assistant, you lewd, perverted creep..."
The glass shampoo bottle shattered on impact, and blood began to stream down the assistant’s face. Terrified, he pleaded, "ili, a gentleman uses his words, not his fists! Just let out. I wasn’t forcing you to do anything... Why are you hitting ?"

Outside the door, the four others were stunned to see that the assistant had accidentally stumbled into Wang ili’s bathroom.

Just as they all assud the worst had happened to Wang ili, the bathroom door creaked open. The assistant staggered out, his head bleeding and his face contorted in agony.
He looked at Zhao Rong and whimpered, "Brother Zhao Rong, I’d rather you beat to death than let Wang ili kill with a toilet brush..."
With that, he collapsed to the floor.
Wang ili rushed out of the bathroom, toilet brush still in hand. "My hand slipped," she announced. "I think I broke the assistant’s eggs."
Everyone stared down at the assistant, who was so still he appeared to have stopped breathing. Seeing that he had seemingly died from the pain, Zhao Rong imdiately knelt beside him. Pressing on the vital point below his nose, he called out his na, "Assistant, I forgive you! Wake up, you can’t die! If you die, our team won’t be complete."
Wang ili, now terrified, began shaking his body. "Assistant, I only ant to poke you in the rear with the toilet brush! I don’t know how I hit the wrong spot! If you die, you can’t bla . I really didn’t an to!"
Xuelian and Lili looked on in horror. "Assistant, even though we all dislike you, we never wished you dead... Wake up, you can’t die..."
Just as everyone was on the verge of tears, convinced the assistant was dead, Yu Lan pushed them aside. "Let handle this."
She found a ladle, dashed into the bathroom, and erged with a scoop of cold water. SPLASH! She flung the water into the assistant’s face. "This guy has a habit of playing dead," she said. "Don’t worry, a ladle of cold water will bring him right back."
Before she had even finished speaking, the seemingly dead assistant shot up from the floor. "I was just playing dead! Did you really have to splash with cold water? You could give soone a heart attack like that!"
Seeing that the "dead" assistant was suddenly alive and well, everyone’s fear instantly turned to rage. The whole group grabbed him and gave him a sound thrashing. Only after they had beaten him thoroughly did they feel satisfied.
After the beatdown, Zhao Rong, who didn’t usually smoke, lit a cigarette and sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his knuckles. "Damn, I think I went a bit too hard. I hope I didn’t break any of his bones."
Lili wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I’ve never beaten a man like that before. It turns out it feels pretty good."

In contrast to everyone’s satisfaction, the bruised and swollen assistant sat slumped in the corner. "Hey everyone, you’ve beaten to a pulp... Are you not even going to treat to dinner?" He rubbed his growling stomach. "Damn, why does getting beaten make so hungry? How strange."
Hearing him ntion food, Lili realized she was hungry too. She checked her watch. "It’s about dinnerti. Let’s go eat."
"Let’s go out for hotpot tonight," Yu Lan suggested.
Xuelian disagreed. "Didn’t we already agree on barbecue and draft beer? Why hotpot all of a sudden?"
"My mouth is so dry," Yu Lan said. "I don’t really feel like eating. I just want to enjoy a whole case of ice-cold draft beer."
At the ntion of beer, the assistant, whose head was swollen like a pig’s, licked his lips. "I want draft beer, too..." He put on a pitiful, childlike expression.
When Zhao Rong saw his usually sleazy assistant suddenly looking so innocent, he felt a pang of guilt. "Assistant, tell what you want to eat. Tonight’s on , as an apology. I was too angry earlier and went a bit overboard."
The assistant’s face lit up. "Brother Zhao Rong, are you really treating ?"
Zhao Rong nodded. "I said it, so I an it."
Realizing Zhao Rong was serious, the assistant thought for a mont. "Brother Zhao Rong, since you’re treating, then please take to King’s BBQ. Let’s get barbecue and beer."
Zhao Rong was puzzled. "King’s BBQ? Around the university, we have Little Bamboo Skewers BBQ, Fatty’s BBQ, and Bald Liu’s BBQ. I’ve never heard of a King’s BBQ."
The assistant grinned. "It’s the one in Powder Alley."
At the ntion of Powder Alley, Lili pointed at the assistant. "You’re shaless! The second Zhao Rong offers to treat you, you pick the most expensive, top-tier barbecue joint in all of Xijing City!"
Yu Lan pointed a finger at his nose. "King’s BBQ is where all the top tycoons in Xijing City go! How can a few poor students like us afford that?"
"I heard that place is full of show-off rich kids flaunting their wealth," Xuelian added. "Do we really want to go there?"
While the won complained about the cost, Zhao Rong thought about the million in cash he’d received from the police for catching the biker gang leader, plus the millions in US dollars, Euros, and British pounds for the information on the Bai Family. He slapped his thigh decisively. "To make it up to the assistant, we’re going to King’s BBQ. Consider it compensation for his bruised ego."
Hearing that they were really going, the assistant jumped to his feet excitedly. Wiping the blood from his forehead, he said, "I may have been beaten beyond recognition, but that’s okay! I’m happy! As long as you treat to King’s BBQ regularly, I’d happily take this kind of beating anyti..."
With that, he wiped the remaining blood from his face and body, ready to go.

Because Zhao Rong was undercover as a junior security guard at Xijing University, he didn’t drive his top-of-the-line Maybach in order to maintain his cover while acting as a professional bodyguard for Lili, Xuelian, and Yu Lan.
At the university gate, the four won and two n tried to hail a taxi to the high-end King’s BBQ in Powder Alley downtown. After trying for a long ti with no luck, Zhao Rong and Lili each pulled out their phones and ordered a ride-share.
When the two cars arrived, Zhao Rong, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian got into the first one, while the assistant and Wang ili got into the second.
After getting in, Zhao Rong imdiately noticed sothing was off about their driver. The man kept glancing into the rearview mirror, his eyes lingering on Lili’s miniskirt. Seeing the driver’s sleazy expression, Zhao Rong’s guard went up.
The trip from Xijing University to Powder Alley should have taken only twenty minutes, but after more than an hour, they still hadn’t arrived. The driver had intentionally taken detours, leading Zhao Rong and the three won into a desolate alley.
Once the car was deep inside the alley, the driver suddenly revealed his true colors. He yanked a long knife from under his seat, pressed it against Zhao Rong’s back, and growled, "Little security guard, a poor slob like you riding with three top-tier beauties... that’s not fair, is it? You, get out..."
Seeing the knife at Zhao Rong’s back, the three won cried out in fear, "This driver is a bad guy!"
Hearing them, the driver gave a lecherous smirk. "So what if I am? Let tell you, I’m only here for sex, not your money!"
Hearing the driver’s intentions, Zhao Rong chuckled. "Driver, do you really think you can handle these three beautiful won all by yourself?"
The driver let out a booming laugh. "Little security guard, who said I wanted the three beauties in the back?"
With that, the driver licked his lips and started drooling, his eyes fixed on Zhao Rong with a feverish excitent.
Zhao Rong was stunned to see the driver drooling at him. "Driver," he said, "don’t tell you’re planning on assaulting **?"
The driver sized him up. "You might just be a security guard, but you’re handso—strong brows, big eyes, red lips, pearly teeth... you look quite tasty. Today, I’m going to have you... I bet you’re still a virgin back there..."
