Right at that mont, thousands of poisonous insects sward toward Zhao Rong and his four companions.
When the assistant and the three beautiful won saw the terrifying, densely packed black insects crawling on the ground, they exclaid in horror, "Zhao Rong, how are we going to deal with these black insects?"
The image of the scarabs from those mummy movies flashed through the assistant’s mind. He looked at the black insects, broke out in a cold sweat, and said, "Will these things crawl into our mouths and eat us from the inside out?"
Lili, standing nearby, took a lighter from her pocket, ready to ignite the fallen leaves. "I think we should just set a fire and burn them to death..."
Looking at the swarming insects, Yu Lan felt a wave of trypophobia wash over her. "This is the first ti I’ve seen so many of them," she said, feeling dizzy. "Why do I have goosebumps all over? It feels like my vision is going dark..."
Xuelian stepped forward to support Yu Lan, then turned to Zhao Rong. "Zhao Rong, you have to think of sothing! If we let those insects get close, we’ll be eaten alive!"
Seeing everyone’s panic, Zhao Rong calmly pulled a tube of toothpaste from his pocket. "Don’t be afraid," he told them. "I’ve got just the thing. Dealing with these insects will be a piece of cake."
When the assistant and the three won saw him produce a tube of toothpaste, they were all dumbfounded. "Zhao Rong, this is a matter of life and death! We need to find a way to kill these things! Why on earth would you pull out a tube of toothpaste? Are you planning to brush your teeth before they eat us?" they asked in disbelief.
The assistant stared at the tube, completely perplexed. "Zhao Rong, your teeth are already white enough. Why do you need toothpaste now?"
Lili shook her head, panic-stricken. "Zhao Rong, is that toothpaste so kind of chemical agent? Will the sll kill them instantly?"
"I bet it’s a secret weapon you bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart specifically for these insects, right?" Yu Lan guessed.
At that mont, Xuelian caught a faint scent of mint in the air. "Don’t worry, everyone," she said optimistically. "I’m sure the toothpaste in Zhao Rong’s hand isn’t just ordinary toothpaste. It must be so kind of advanced technology."
Before Xuelian could finish, Zhao Rong opened the cap, squeezed out a dab of paste, and applied it to a large toothbrush. He then brushed it directly onto the ground where the insects were crawling. "What you don’t know," he said, "is that the best weapon in the Paradise Shopping Cart for dealing with these creatures is Poisonous Insect Toothpaste."
As he spoke, he swept the huge toothbrush across the ground a couple of tis.
A miraculous scene unfolded. The patch of ground he had brushed instantly turned bright red. Any insect that crawled into the red area imdiately burst into flas and burned to ash.
Seeing the ground turn red and incinerate the insects on contact, the assistant and the three won asked in confusion, "Zhao Rong, what on earth is this toothpaste you bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart? How is it so powerful? It can burn insects just by being brushed on the ground?"
Zhao Rong found a forked branch to sit on, crossed his legs, and watched as waves of insects reached the red line only to be incinerated. He smiled and explained, "You see, this Poisonous Insect Toothpaste is made from Volcanic Powder from Mars. As soon as it’s exposed to air and cos into contact with the unique particles on the insects’ bodies, it instantly combusts."
Hearing this, the assistant and the three won finally understood. They nodded, watching as the thousands of insects were slowly burned to nothing. "You’re incredible, Zhao Rong," they said with a laugh. "To think you used a substance from another planet to annihilate the poisonous insects created by the malevolent Hong Ju in this other dinsion on Earth..."
In monts, Zhao Rong’s Poisonous Insect Toothpaste had incinerated every last one of the teeming insects.
After eliminating them, Zhao Rong was about to take a break and have a drink of water. But to his surprise, the old witch holding a scythe charged straight for him, swinging the blade down at his head.
When the assistant and the three won saw the witch attacking Zhao Rong, they scread a warning, "Zhao Rong, duck! Watch out for her scythe!"
The assistant grabbed a pebble from the ground and hurled it at the witch. "Old hag, let’s see which is tougher, your scythe or my stone!" The pebble struck the old witch on the backside, causing her to stumble.
Lili grabbed a piece of wood and threw it straight at the witch’s head. "Before you ss with Zhao Rong, eat this!" she shouted. Her aim was true, and the wood slamd into the witch’s forehead, sending her sprawling face-first into the dirt.
But the witch, though knocked down, got back up. Gripping her scythe, she continued her charge toward Zhao Rong.
At that mont, Yu Lan ripped a thorny branch from a tree, rushed forward, and lashed it across the witch’s back. "I’ll whip you until your flesh is flayed! That’ll teach you to bother Zhao Rong again!"
Although Yu Lan’s thorny branch tore through the old witch’s clothes and ripped her skin, the witch ignored her completely, still intent on chopping off Zhao Rong’s head with her scythe.
In that critical mont, Xuelian pulled out two cans of pepper spray and shot a double blast directly into the old witch’s face.
Xuelian’s pepper spray was incredibly effective. The witch shrieked, unable to open her eyes, and collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. "You humans dared to enter the forbidden land..." she rasped painfully. "Now, on behalf of my boss, Hong Ju, I’m going to chop all five of you to death with my scythe!"
