Several seconds later, Ye Luo felt as if he was traversing through space and ti. The next second, with a splash, he found himself plumting into a pond, the icy water chilling him to the core in an instant.

At that mont, a series of strange noises arose. Ye Luo’s eyes swept over to find Shi Yanran struggling in the pond, her hands flailing as bubbles escaped her mouth.
Ye Luo quickly swam over, grabbed her, and lifted her out of the water to the surface.
Shi Yanran gasped for air, her pretty face pale. Ye Luo held onto her as they left the pond and reached the shore.
"Yan Ran, are you alright?"
Ye Luo asked with a worried expression on his face.
"Achoo!" Shi Yanran sneezed, her body trembling.
The explosion had co too swiftly, leaving them no ti to react before they fell into this place. Fortunately, they were both alive and it seed they hadn’t suffered any injuries, which was a stroke of luck amidst the misfortune. This was especially true for Shi Yanran, who had just expelled the Yin Qi from her body and hadn’t yet recovered her strength. Being at her weakest, an injury now would have been a huge problem.
"I’m so cold!" Shi Yanran hugged herself, shivering, completely chilled to the bone after being soaked in the icy pond water.
Seeing Shi Yanran like this, Ye Luo embraced her and began circulating the Nine Yang Mystic Art within him. A surge of Nine Yang True Qi rapidly spread and transferred into Shi Yanran’s body.
Suddenly, Shi Yanran felt as if she had left a frozen wasteland for a place bathed in warm sunshine, her whole body cozy and warm.
The paleness of Shi Yanran’s face vanished as the Nine Yang True Energy, known to be the most aggressive and dominant Qi, easily dispelled the cold. Not only that, but even the water on their bodies started to evaporate into steam under the pressure of the Nine Yang True Qi.
They were soon enveloped in a mist, their clothes drying out quickly.
"There are so things I need to tell you," Ye Luo said with a solemn expression. He wasn’t the unfaithful type and obviously couldn’t keep things from her.
Shi Yanran looked up at him, curious about what he was going to say. Ye Luo then recounted everything that had just happened.
Shi Yanran took a deep breath and nodded, "I don’t bla you."
Ye Luo let out a wry smile, "I didn’t tell you this to seek your forgiveness. In fact, what I really want to ask you is, what do you plan to do about us? About our relationship?"
Shi Yanran bit her lip and gave him an annoyed glance. No one puts a girl on the spot like that. Since she didn’t get angry, it was clear she had feelings for Ye Luo, yet that rascal still had to ask directly.
Ye Luo smiled, understanding her feelings, "Be my girlfriend then."
"But what about Miss Ling..." Shi Yanran’s brow furrowed slightly, her expression conflicted, clearly thinking about Ling Qingya’s presence.
"She’s my fiancée, and I can’t abandon her, but you’re already my woman, so I have to take responsibility for you too. And to be honest with you, I have two other won in Zhonghai."

Seeing Shi Yanran like this, Ye Luo knew she needed so ti to think calmly, so he said, "Alright, let’s not think about this for now. We still don’t know if we can even get out of here."
"Right, where are we? How did we end up here?" Shi Yanran asked, looking around with a perplexed expression.
At this mont, Ye Luo and Shi Yanran were in an underground cavern with no apparent exits, just a vast pool of water.
"This place should be an underground space beneath the Maple Leaf Organization’s base. We fell here after the collapse above," Ye Luo said, surveying the surroundings, though he didn’t know what this place was used for before, it seed it hadn’t been much developed.
Ye Luo had a hunch, maybe this was the space that the Maple Leaf Organization was planning to use to create an escape route, but it wasn’t finished yet. With this idea, he wasn’t very panicked. As long as there was a way out, with his abilities, he definitely wouldn’t be trapped here.
"How will we get out? What if we can never leave?" Shi Yanran said, her face filled with worry. Her thoughts were more naïve, not as calculating as Ye Luo’s, and she hadn’t considered the possibility of an underground escape route created by the Maple Leaf Organization, thinking it was simply an underground cavern.

However, after searching, Ye Luo found no exit, but he did notice a stream nearby with water constantly flowing into the pool. The water kept coming in, but the water level did not rise.
Noticing this, Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, a gleam flickering within as he said, "There’s a way out."
"Really, you found an exit?" Shi Yanran hurried over and asked Ye Luo eagerly. She had also been helping to look for a way out but had found nothing; hearing Ye Luo say this, she felt a surge of joy.
"Look, there’s a constant flow of water into this pool, but the surface of the pool has not changed. Look, the edges aren’t even wet, which ans the water in the pool isn’t just accumulating here—it’s flowing out. That ans there must be a passageway leading outside from this pool," Ye Luo explained. He activated his Clairvoyant Eye and scanned the pool, and indeed, he discovered a passage below the pool.
"There really is a passageway, we can get out," Ye Luo said with delight.
"That’s great, we don’t have to die here," Shi Yanran said, equally thrilled. She impulsively kissed Ye Luo on the face, causing him to freeze with surprise.
Shi Yanran laughed out loud, her laugh radiant, able to overturn realms and topple nations!
