Mom crossed her arms, pretending to look furious. "Really? You expect to believe that? I have treated you as my best friend for decades, and this is how you repay ? Sneaking into my son’s room the very first night? Wearing sothing that barely covers anything? You’re clearly trying to seduce my boy!"
Diana’s eyes filled with tears instantly. "Victoria, please... listen to ..."
Mom continued dramatically, pretending to be heartbroken and angry at the sa ti. "Oh, so now you’re going to cry? After getting caught red-handed? Diana hurriedly lifted the blanket higher to cover herself and scrambled out of bed, walking quickly toward Mom with tears streaming down her face.

Mom raised an eyebrow and looked Diana up and down slowly, taking in the seductive curves clearly visible through the thin nightie. "Really? Then explain why you’re in my son’s bed wearing this tiny little thing that shows off every single curve? You’re practically naked! You’re clearly seducing him, you vixen! Look at those legs... those breasts... You think I’m blind?"

Mom moved faster than I expected. She rushed forward and hugged Diana tightly from behind, wrapping her arms around her best friend’s waist.
"You silly, silly girl..." Mom said warmly, resting her chin on Diana’s shoulder. "I was just teasing you! Don’t I know exactly what kind of person you are after all these years? Stop crying, you big baby."
Diana was surprised. She turned around slowly in Mom’s arms, eyes wide and still teary. "You... you were teasing the whole ti?"
Mom chuckled softly, her sly, smug smile returning in full force. "Of course I was! I didn’t expect my best friend to be seduced by my own son... But if you call ’Mom’ from now on, I might just agree to accept you as my daughter-in-law. Co on, say it — ’Mom, I’m sorry for stealing your son.’"
Diana’s face flushed bright red. "You... I would never call you Mom! You’re impossible!"
Mom burst out laughing loudly and walked over to , grabbing my ear playfully and tugging it.

I looked at Diana, then back at Mom, and nodded with a small, relieved smile. "I know, Mom... I know."
Victoria gave a satisfied nod, her playful expression softening into sothing truly motherly. "Good. Now, both of you, co down for breakfast. We’ll talk more then. And Diana... don’t think I’m letting you off the hook that easily. I still have questions about how fast you moved on my son." She winked at us one last ti before turning toward the door, humming happily to herself as she left the room.
The mont the door clicked shut, Diana turned to with a deep blush spreading across her cheeks. Her eyes were still a little watery from all the earlier teasing, but now they held a mix of embarrassnt and shy affection.
"You... you are laughing at !" she complained, lightly beating her fist against my chest in playful protest. "How can you laugh when your mother just called a vixen and a seductress? I was so scared she was really angry!"
I chuckled again, unable to help myself at how adorable she looked when flustered. "I’m not laughing at you. I’m laughing because you’re cute when you panic like that."
Diana’s blush deepened. She hit my chest a little harder this ti. "Cute? You’re the one who’s impossible! Stop laughing, or I’ll really hit you!"
I pretended to wince dramatically, clutching my chest as if she had wounded . "Ouch... that actually hurts. My poor heart..."
Diana’s expression instantly changed from playful annoyance to guilt. Her eyes widened and she gently placed her hand over the spot she had hit. "Does it hurt...? Oh no, I didn’t an to hit you that hard... I’m sorry, Dexter. Let see..."
I kept up the act, pouting slightly. "Yeah... it hurts a lot. And it would only heal with a kiss from my wife. A proper kiss, right here on my chest... or maybe on my lips."
Diana stared at for a second, then a determined, bold look crossed her face. Without hesitation, she leaned in and kissed directly on the lips — soft at first, then deeper, her hands cupping my face as if she was making sure the "pain" went away completely.
When she pulled back, her breathing was a little quicker. "Does it still hurt...?"
