Before anyone could figure out what was happening, a loud bang rang out, and the Construct's dark eyes suddenly flashed red. The tall Centaur took a step forward, stomping heavily on the inn's floor.
Its four arms separated with a 'woo' sound, and one arm reached forward, grabbing the neck of the Invoker at the front. Although the latter tried to dodge, he was still caught like a chick; the robed stranger lifted a hand, and the Magic Guided Construct Yinhanz Four used 'spell' (physical throw) to hurl the person away.
The Invoker crashed through the inn's lattice wooden wall, colliding into the courtyard behind.
This sudden change shocked everyone, and none of them could figure out how this person was able to control the Yinhanz Four in the hall. Resonance between Crystals requires matching and prior synchronization to control a Flexible Construct; this is basic fact.
Otherwise, everyone could control others' Flexible Constructs, which would be chaos.
The inn's defensive forces reacted at this point, and guards rushed over upon hearing the commotion, heading in this direction. But the man remained calm, with one hand still bending the young man's arm while the other swept back—Yinhanz Four roared and turned around.
Its walls opened, and a beam of azure light shot from each arm, sweeping towards the guards outside the inn—this was a legitimate Pseudo Dragon Knight level attack, and these soldiers could not withstand it imdiately. Amidst a series of explosive booms, chaos erupted outside the inn.
Yet it seed the man held back when he struck, or else the soldiers outside wouldn't just be in disarray.
Only now did the Descendants of Flor's Invokers finally react:
"Pseudo Dragon Knight!"
"Grand Artificer!"
"Take the people away first!"
To control the Yinhanz Four and fully utilize this Magic Guided Construct's power, there is only one possibility. It is that the opponent is a genuine top-tier Combat Artisan, a Pseudo Dragon Knight. As for the opponent's limits, that's absolutely beyond what these people still mingling in the First World can fathom.
But due to their duty, knowing they were no match, several Invokers still had to brace themselves to face it.
One Invoker imdiately dragged the young man with silver-rimd glasses, retreating with the alliance official from the courtyard direction, while the other two moved left and right, blocking the man.
They originally thought that the Yinhanz Four had turned to deal with the guards, that the opponent alone might an so chance. But the two clearly forgot the previous scene, also forgetting the young man crying desperately under the opponent's grip.
They had just taken a step forward when the opponent reached out his hand; beneath the robe was a Control Glove shimring with tallic luster. The glove 'buzzed' and shot forward, hitting the first Invoker's chest; before the latter realized what happened, he was also sent flying out of the lattice wall's gap.
Though the second person reacted, it was aningless. The man swung his hand, and the still-airborne Reinforced Glove swept toward him like a whip—he barely had ti to block with a Longsword in hand, but while he blocked the rope, he couldn't block the incoming Flying Claw.
The Reinforced Glove in mid-air could still be controlled by the opponent. The opponent gently raised his hand, and the blocked Flying Claw turned back at a bizarre angle, punching him hard in the face.
He scread in agony, retreating backward.
But when he recovered from seeing stars, all he saw was the opponent striding over, delivering an elbow to his face.
Then his vision went completely black—
It was only in the last mont that a thought flashed through his mind:
"Supre One."
The man effortlessly dealt with the opponents in front and behind, glanced at the retreating direction of the young man in silver-rimd glasses, ready to drag this nuisance and chase after him. But at this mont, amidst the smoke filling the inn, a voice sounded: "Let go of the person in your hand!"
Erging from the smoke was naturally Fang Hong's group.
It turned out they hadn't reached their destination when they heard chaos from the inn—though the mute servant had shown so suspicion initially, another loud bang had already sounded. This was, in fact, the Yinhanz Four punching the first Invoker through the wall, and the sound reaching Fang Hong's ears made him imdiately realize sothing was up in the inn's hall.
Thus, he led everyone back at once.
But he didn't expect to witness such an explosive scene.
He walked forward a few steps before stopping, glancing at the tall Yinhanz Four behind the man; he was naturally familiar with this thing. And the young man in the opponent's hand, he naturally recognized and even felt a bit schadenfreude—serves that guy right for showing off earlier.
Getting struck by lightning now?
But while schadenfreude is one thing, it doesn't an he agreed with the opponent's actions. Moreover, that kind of person who could so ignore the law in front of everyone was hard to determine whether they were friend or foe.
