The Alchemist saw Fang Hong appear, and his eyes narrowed slightly as he lifted up the young man in his hand. The young man thought he would be released, but unexpectedly, the Alchemist placed his hand on the young man's head, and with a crackling twist, turned it one hundred and eighty degrees.

The young man twitched and collapsed like a broken rag bag. The Alchemist casually tossed the lifeless body aside like a discarded bag.

Fang Hong witnessed this scene, and although he felt little sympathy, he couldn't help but shudder slightly. Even in Eteliria, killing so nonchalantly was not the act of a benevolent person.

After discarding the young man, the Alchemist looked up at him, sizing him up from head to toe, observing Fang Hong's reaction.

He spoke, "You asked to let him go, now I have let him go."

Fang Hong remained silent.

He knew this person probably had psychological issues, unwilling to waste words, he just glanced at the other's collar and noticed the robe had no Star Rank. It was unclear if it had been removed or if he wasn't an Artisan Association craftsman.

His gaze swept the surroundings, his thoughts clearing slightly, he took a step back and projected a light screen onto his palm, his fingers moved slightly as he typed a ssage into the team channel:

"Stall him, do not engage directly."

The others understood implicitly.

Being asked to confront this Alchemist head-on, previous Invokers of the Descendants of Flor had already set a precedent. Even though the Star Rank was invisible, the Yinhanz Type Four behind him said it all.

However, this was in the bustling center of Tansnier, with Guards, Combat Alchemists of the Artisan Association, Arcanists, and nurous Necromancers.

Moreover, the Sorcerer-Ghoul Tang De was in the outer hall, reinforcents would arrive soon with a bit of delay.

Thus, their tactic was to stall.

Fang Hong's thoughts clear, he retreated another step, and a Clockwork Fairy dropped from his coat, unfurling its four wings, flying close along the ground towards the main hall.

At the sa ti, he multitasked, sending a command to the Information Crystal at his chest, instructing it to open a Light Gate, allowing a 'Fortress' to leap out, landing on the ground.

The next mont, he issued a second command—

Fang Hong raised a gloved hand, pointing upward, and the buoys on the Magic Omnidirectional Instrunt all turned upwards. The light magic engine inside the 'Fortress' emitted a low hum, setting gears in motion, as the dark muzzle of the 'Fortress' aid at the ceiling.

Speaking of which, since the battle with Dolifen, he hadn't used this type of construct for a long ti, if not for the near complete loss of constructs at hand in the battle of Idus, he would have almost forgotten these models he initially designed.

But now, using it was just right.

The third command was issued, and the three-barreled fusillade of the 'Fortress' spun, spewing fire, tracing a line of smoke and dust across the inn's ceiling. The precision wasn't high, but it sufficed here.

Amid the roar of bullets, the chandeliers and hanging vines suspended from the beams above snapped and fell.

A flicker of surprise glinted in the Alchemist's eyes, and the Yinhanz Type Four behind him raised two arms to shatter the falling chandeliers and pots.

But this was only the beginning.

Fang Hong's real target was a specin of a Pterosaur suspended from the ceiling, also one of the many exhibits in the hall—anything on display here must surely be of great value.

But now, its only purpose was its weight.

After the 'Fortress' severed the anchor point on the iron chain above, the Pterosaur skeleton emitted a loud crash, tearing away from two or three chains, plumting straight down.

The Alchemist raised and spread his hand.

The Yinhanz Type Four lifted another two arms, the four arms together catching the specin. At his command, the Yinhanz Type Four exerted force and hurled the Pterosaur skeleton towards Fang Hong and the others.

"Xiangzi."

Fang Hong called out softly.

Xiangzi stepped forward, raised his Magic Wand, and an invisible ripple spread forward, passing through half of the hall. Where it passed, the skeleton imdiately froze in mid-air—

He pushed it forward again, sending the skeleton flying back.

The Alchemist had the Yinhanz Type Four punch it to pieces.

He raised a hand, deflecting a flying fragnt, then lowered his hand to look in the direction of the crowd. But amidst the billowing smoke, only a blue light flickered—the Alchemist heard a low incantation, followed by the whoosh of an Ice Wall rising vertically before him.

The Alchemist curled his lips, not angry, just finding it a bit amusing.

He spread his fingers, the Yinhanz Type Four lowered its arms, four beams of light burst from its palms, piercing through the Ice Wall in front, bringing it crashing down, lting into puddles.

The beams of light penetrated the Ice Wall and continued forward.

Targeting Fang Hong, Luo Yu, Luo Hao, and Xiangzi behind it.

But it was as if the four of them had anticipated it.

Fang Hong just forcefully pulled Luo Yu aside, and the two rolled together behind a cal-hair sofa. Xiangzi was retracting his staff, holding a sword in one hand and a staff in the other, flickering in and out of sight, and in the next mont, he vanished.

And the beams of light pierced through the afterimage left behind by him.

Having reached the sixteenth rank, Xiangzi naturally learned Blink Spell—that was the very Spell used by the Energy Angel. However, here, the causation needs reversing; the Angel's Blink actually cos from the consistency of the Magic Guided Conductor's Blink Technique.

Luo Hao was the slowest to react, but also leaped forward in ti, rolling like a ball on the ground for several turns. The beams of light passed him by a hair's breadth, skimming past the back of the chubby man.
