Fang Hong placed down the Communication Crystal and couldn't help but fall into contemplation, but only for a mont before he raised his head. He took off his coat with a flick of his hand, tore off the protective inner armor underneath, and tossed it onto the ground, revealing the leather vest lining; simultaneously, he removed the leather water bag, toolbox, and so miscellaneous items including potions, throwing them aside one by one, and finally took out a second Glider Backpack, fastening it behind him.
He hung the Communication Crystal on his chest, pulled down the Wind Goggles, and with one hand lit up the Crystal, speaking: "Great God Ye Hua, what is Mahazar's profession?"
Two translucent wings unfolded from Fang Hong's back, stretching out like streams of azure feathers, floating up and down. He took a deep breath, looking towards the gray battlefield ahead; the Sand Thieves were advancing along the street, resembling a horde of gray ground squirrels, with Mahazar and his lizard riders in the center of the battlefield.
Fang Hong leaped forward.
"Mahazar is Level 10 Nightingale, Level 7 Gunslinger, with the remaining Level 3 unknown, but overall he's a Level 20 Musketeer, and his advanced path is a rare branch for Musketeers called Sand Sea Frenzy Blade. This is a profession unique to Istania, be cautious of his Claw Hook Skill."
"As for professions beyond Level 30, it's temporarily unknown; from the direction of his class change, a blind guess would be one of Gale Knight or Lord of Sand," the voice of Ye Hua ca from the Crystal, still very calm.
Claw Hook?
Fang Hong couldn't help but feel a bit speechless—this was a thief eting their ancestor; is his face really that dark that among the thousands of profession directions in Eteliria, he bumped into a unique claw hook expert?—he definitely didn't think his amateur tricks could move back and forth under the eyes of a Level 40 Nightingale.
But once the bowstring is drawn, there's no turning back—
A trail of azure tail soared above the city head, drew a long arc, and swept over the heads of the Sand Thieves below, attracting all eyes on the chaotic battlefield with its dazzling light.
The Sand Thieves, after initial shock and disorder, quickly picked up small Short Bows and Hand Crossbows, and erratically shot at him. Yet, the weak and loose Hand Crossbows and Short Bows only shot a few sparse Feather Arrows, and Fang Hong, with a backhand motion, pulled down a lever on the Magic Guided Reactor, causing a white flash; the Feather Arrows bounced away.
However, the Shield was simultaneously depleted—
The gale tousled the strands of hair on the young man's forehead, but couldn't affect his vision beneath the goggles; the scenery was retreating rapidly, like a drawn-out painting, imprinting the varying expressions of shock, anger, and open-mouthed screaming of the Sand Thieves below.
He slightly tilted his body to the right, causing the azure tail to draw a long curve over the battlefield, avoiding the center and flying towards the sky above a street.
The Sand Thieves below scread in the Istania dialect, roughly aning they wanted to shoot him down, and they clearly weren't fools, instinctively sensing the threat from the beam of light. But Fang Hong seed not to hear, withdrew his hand, and with a 'click,' inserted the Information Crystal into the inset slot on the leather under-vest and gave it a gentle pat.
He had flown above that street.
After the azure tail swept past, two rounds of Light Array opened to the left and right behind Fang Hong, and from them leaped two golden tracks that soared upwards, then crisscrossed downward, extending towards the Sand Thieves below like a dive.
That golden fold was the last light reflected in the pitch-black eyes of the Sand Thieves—
With a deafening roar, the explosion unleashed a gust of air and flas, propelling countless debris and dirt into the sky, along with mangled human bodies, crashing down chaotically, yet the azure stream had already surged forward from the whirling smoke, leaving all of it behind with Fang Hong.
Then more Light Gates opened, and the scattering golden Light Feathers, like countless little elves, encircled Fang Hong moving forward; as the azure beam passed, the golden Light Rain showered down, each line, each strand, bringing forth a breathtaking Rain of Death.
In the darkness, the blinking explosions seed to chase Fang Hong, a line forward, transforming behind him into a Hell of flas and fire.
That scene, not to ntion the retreating Royal Guards, the shimring light refracting in their eyes was like a blooming flower nad hope, causing every single one to stop in their tracks.
Even Ye Hua, who was remaining atop the city head, couldn't help feeling so brilliance in his eyes gazing at the lights within the darkness. When soone masters a profession, what's crucial isn't the level, nor experience, nor even the number of Skills grasped...
Rather, when a person's imagination exceeds all things that confine them, that profession blooms with unimaginable brilliance in their hands. It opens a door, behind which lies unprecedented realms, grounds unbeknownst to anyone, from that mont onward, it's not experience and ability pushing you forward, but you driving a profession ahead—
That is the pinnacle starting point.
The Ranger King couldn't help but chuckle softly.
...
As Mahazar's gaze was drawn by the explosion, the scene he witnessed was exactly like that.
Flas and blinking light chased the azure beam forward; he seed to see a dragon spreading its wings, a dragon of cyan, with shimring death light beneath its wings, appearing slow yet sweeping past, leaving only a realm of scorched Hell in its wake.
