She had been wanting to head in so long and then jumped in as soon as the opportunity showed up? Did her survival instincts get reduced by reincarnation or sothing?
Fortunately, her body had the mind to teleport at a blind spot of the car about to leave, so the people heading out had no idea soone had gotten inside.
Fortunately, the n went downstairs, so she didn’t have to face the wrath of enemies as soon as she appeared.
However, she couldn’t say the sa for the CCTVs. She looked up and saw one facing her. Using the space, she imdiately destroyed it. This was done by willing the cara into her space and then putting it back out.
This was barely a challenge. She could even put in mango trees with the soil, pulling out a cara from false ceilings was no effort at all.
She quickly found the other two caras and did the sa, all while taking out a weapon. She chose a dagger and a rope dart. She usually preferred the rope dart, but if the space was limited, it could get quite inconvenient.
By the ti the main rolling gate had closed, there were no more CCTVs left on the upper floor. Unsurprisingly, the door heading to the floor downstairs opened, with a handful of people dashing out, weapons on hand.
This was not surprising. Even if they didn’t see her appear, they’d have seen the CCTVs not working. The garage was large, but not that large. It was easy to spot a trespasser, and they imdiately pointed their guns at her.
"WHO ARE YOU!?"
She teleported right behind them, using the rope dart’s innate montum to wrap around their bodies and their necks. She only took a mont to judge whether to kill them or not.
Owning guns in and being so secretive in a country that didn’t allow firearms...and their readiness to kill. Also, they were definitely connected to the sperm donor.
Heh.
Not good things!
She raised her dagger and—Splat! —killed one.
"YOU!"
"Damnit!" another scread, struggling in place.
Splat!
"Ugh."
Naia cursed when she saw her clothes splattered with blood and brain matter.
Because her rope tied up four people at the sa ti, there were naturally so ’loose’ areas. Soone managed to move his arms flexibly and aid for her head.
Her instincts flared and turned the muzzle to face his head instead. Her dainty arms moved to the trigger, exploding the buy’s head.
The remaining two guys gaped at her, realizing the abnormalities. They also belatedly realized that the main abnormality was how she appeared right behind them!
She didn’t want to waste any more ti with these guys, afraid the other people from downstairs would co up, or that the people who left had returned.
Splat!
Splat!
SPLAT!
She used her dagger to stab them all in the neck, pretty much beheading them.
With all four dead, Naia grabbed their daggers, their guns, and even the bulletproof vests on their bodies.
She couldn’t help but whistle as she studied her loot. She acknowledged the quality of each one. "Not bad," she said.
That idiot Houser was involved with this kind of group? He didn’t seem like soone with enough brains to co out unscathed.
Anyway, she did not have the ti to dilly-dally any more than she already had, and she continued to explore the place. She did not forget to take everything of value from the garage as well, including nice military-grade jeeps she had been lusting for! Too bad she lost one with those n who exited their base.
There were also so car maintenance items there. Interestingly, she belatedly realized that one of the closed walls was actually a large cabinet that opened in accordion style.
She whistled again at the selection in front of her. There were a lot of weapons hanging on this wall, whether it was guns or cold weapons. It seed like they were ready to defend in case this base was attacked.
Too bad for them, they didn’t have the chance to use any of them. She, the intruder, took it all in and virtuously calling them her reward.
Weapon ready, she opened the door. She only used the dagger this ti. The staircase and halls were narrow pathways, after all. The advantages of her rope dart were pretty much limited here.
By this ti, she had already worn a facemask (the one for diseases), just in case, destroying CCTVs on the way.
She did not have the chance to ponder whether she’d kill the rest and just went with it. She knew exactly where the enemies were, and as long as she was within the sa space without barriers. By then, she could blink behind them and stab them to death. These were all swift and coldhearted kills.
As soone born during the apocalypse, her morality wasn’t as rigid as others.
She didn’t like to kill humans and treasured most lives, as soone who had seen so many deaths, but she could also kill anyone that threatened her safety rather easily.
Ah, the duplicity.
She soon faced the next enemy. The first one was right at the bottom of the staircase. The landing was large and had seats in it, and it was made the guards’ spot so they could see who was going down.
She appeared behind him and killed him without a sound. She arranged him back to his chair to pretend to be asleep, and only then did she dare step out ’into the light’.
She looked down and saw a corner and blinked there.
"Has Mr. Smith sent contact yet?"
"Yes. The Red Gang will handle the logistics," another said. "They’ll get here in two to three days."
He could hear them around a table of sorts, playing cards while drinking. They continued to play, place bets, and curse each other, though as ti passed by, they couldn’t help but feel a bit restless.
"What’s taking them so long?"
"Will it be alright?"
"Why? What happened?" Another asked, holding his phone while he played his ga. He did not even notice that four people went up.
"They saw the CCTVs upstairs have disconnected. They’re probably fixing it." They shrugged and then resud the ga.
Heading up with guns out was just standard operating procedure for people moving floors. They didn’t expect that a demon would actually get inside.
