"It seems like the Chaotic Blade Association suffered heavy losses this ti."

"However..."

Albertson looked at the positions marked on the map where the Horizon Corporation rcenaries were stationed. Even under such a large-scale attack, more than half remained, and in such a stressful situation, they could still find an opportunity to counterattack. It was truly extraordinary.

"These guys are a far greater threat than the company initially estimated, by several levels. We must eliminate them as soon as possible, or they will bring even greater losses to Huang Ban in the future."

She held grudges, and Olivia's repeated jabs had already irritated her quite a bit. Seeing her rival's prized assets get smashed brought her nothing but joy.

But personal grudges are personal grudges. She rembered what the current bigger picture was very clearly and saw no need to undermine her teammates at such a critical mont.

"Hasegawa, have you located their command headquarters yet?"

She had specifically used her authority to bring in two special forces from Oregon just in case.

Their level was incomparable to those counter-intelligence agents. Even if they couldn't match the Lone Wolf Hundred, within Huang Ban's ard forces, they could manage a state's security system, not much inferior to Adam's Hamr, and they were fully ard, not half-baked like the ones in town.

Since the Chaotic Blade Association launched the first attack on the valley entrance, they had been undertaking operations to infiltrate the rear and locate the command center.

"Found it."

Even the players hadn't noticed, but scattered on the hillside not far from the command center stood more than a dozen people, each equipped with optical camouflage skin prosthetics. You could see the dust behind them through their skin.

Unless exposed to direct strong light, it was almost impossible to see that there was a group of people standing there.

Hearing his na called, Hasegawa asked, "Do you need us to take them out now?"

Albertson glanced at the tracking signal left by Agent Huangban on Olivia, that small red dot was continuously approaching the big blue dot.

"Go ahead, take down their command system. The ga ends here; no need for further complications."

We can still earn a round of live operation data from Great Mount Pill; we can't ask for more.

"Understood."

Hasegawa's reply was concise and crisp.

"Cat, do it."

As soon as he spoke, Agent Cat raised his right hand towards the players' command post in the distance, and all the agents turned off their optical invisibility skin.

Cat's bulky right arm casing opened, and as he pointed downward, he revealed a small cannon-like muzzle resembling a projectile launcher, but instead of carrying high-explosive rounds, it housed a small missile.

Whoosh—

The missile's launch and flight made minimal sound, but its speed was swift, zipping hundreds of ters across in the blink of an eye, detonating over the temporary base cobbled together by the players' convoy.

The missile didn't create a large fireball upon exploding; the noise was minimal, but it caused great commotion.

Two-thirds of the base's lights overloaded, flashed, and then went out. Many phones, terminals, and computer chips experienced abnormal temperature rises and blanked out, even the electronic equipnt mounted on vehicles turned off in large numbers. The transport platforms carrying logistics supplies halted, and many hacker players directly fell to the ground, unconscious.

The sudden change left the newbie players at the base bewildered and clueless about what had happened.

Did the ga have a bug?

The majority of the veteran players had gone to the front lines as the main force. Those staying behind to handle logistics were mostly newcors or non-combat departnt players. Their danger perception was inherently low, and they failed to detect what the real issue was at the mont.

Not to ntion, even experienced players were taken aback when they saw the caravan plunged into darkness and their right eye prosthetic suddenly blinked out.

Thinking at first it was an electrical failure, they pushed open the car door to discover the situation covered nearly the entire base, suddenly realizing—

"It's an EMP. Soone used a large-scale electromagnetic pulse interference on us."

"EMP?"

Wildman certainly knew what that was. It was the Ghost Soldier skill from Starship Paratroopers, and unexpectedly, it appeared here too.

This device could cause an instantaneous voltage surge on highly sensitive electronic components, frying transistors and severing connections, resulting in widespread dysfunction of electronic equipnt, almost beyond repair.

But could the Chaotic Blade Association launch such an attack?

Where did they get the technology, and how did they find us?

No, it couldn't be the Chaotic Blade Association.

If they had discovered the command center, their first artillery strike would not have targeted Position Eight but would have fired directly at the command center.

So it's a third party...

Huang Ban.

It could only be them.

Wildman's brain was operating at high speed, but he wasn't in a rush. He excelled in most human tactics from Starship Paratroopers, and the tactical high ground was always singular.

And now it was the third day, players would start respawning and continuously joining the battlefield. My good brothers are endless, but your soldiers suffer casualties every minute. As long as you can't take out in one blow, you'll never defeat .

ALL IN, is that it?

Who wouldn't?

And don't think the lowest attack power farrs are just lambs to slaughter.

I'll definitely claim the final victory in this ga!
