Seraph remained in the room for another week before successfully becoming a Peak Master Stage cultivator again.

After washing up and changing clothes, he felt extrely please when he found a plate of food out had been brought to the room.

If it were on Earth, he might have been suspicious, but here, he knew there were only two people who could enter the room.

Besides, his body had a great immunity against poison.

Before leaving, he ensured he wolfed down the food to the last grain, rubbing his stomach in satisfaction.

’Now, I feel ready to go do the necessary things.’

When he ca out, he t only Elder Song and Elder Lan in the living room, with Sylvia nowhere to be found.

The two won were engaged in a serious discussion over a map on the table, which piqued his interest.

"Oh! Greetings, Elders."

With a lighthearted voice, he greeted them as he ca down the stairs.

Two pairs of eyes turned to him, gauging him silently, then Song smiled.

"You’ve beco a Peak Master again."

Seraph smiled back. "Hm."

He walked over, took a look at the map, and casually asked.

"We’re discussing the route for our plans for the war." Elder Lan replied him solemnly.

Seraph paused. "War? So the sect has finally decided to go to war with them, hm?"

Song nodded. "I suggested it, people agreed, and Grand Elder i approved."

"Grand Elder?" He frowned, confused.

"The disciples might not know it but the Winter Peak Master is the sect’s overall Grand Elder." Elder Lan explained to him.

Seraph was dumbfounded. He hadn’t expected that woman to have so much authority.

It seed Sera and Dera were more celebrity than he had thought.

"Well? So... how’s the preparation going?"

Before Song could answer, Elder Lan shot him a glare. "It is not compulsory for you to know now. You’re just a disciple, and you should act like one."

Seraph’s lips twitched, and he felt the urge to facepalm. His face morphed into an apologetic expression.

"My bad, I was too forward. I apologize to the two elders."

He bowed courteously, placing his right hand over his heart.

"No, wait..."

Song tried to say sothing, but he cut her off.

"In that case, I will leave the two elders to your discussion. I will get going now."

Instantly, he walked to the door and stepped outside, closing the door behind him.

"Sigh, that wasn’t necessary, Sister Lan." Song sighed softly, reclining into the sofa.

"Hm? It was. He’s just a disciple and he’s being nosy."

Lan rolled her eyes, looking faintly displeased.

Still, Song couldn’t agree with her. "I know. But at the sa ti, I appreciate Seraph’s high intelligence. The last ti I had to intervene in a mission where he was present, he pointed out so clues that made astonished."

"Really? A kid like him? I know he has great, unfathomable talents but I don’t think he’s going to be as good as you say. Maybe it’s just sothing he picked up from his parents." Lan frowned faintly, doubting.

The other woman chuckled, crossing her legs elegantly as she took a sip of wine from her glass.

"Sothing involving the palace was picked up from his parents? Surely, you jest."

Lan’s eyes widened. "Involving the palace? What’s going on?"

"I’m sorry. I already promised the princess not to disclose any information." Song smiled apologetically, then leaned forward again, focusing on the map.

"Let’s leave that for now. Since you’ve chased Seraph away, we’ll brainstorm by ourselves."

Lan snorted. "Of course. I wasn’t planning on asking any man for help anyway."

Soon, the two of them continued their tactical preparations.

.........

anwhile, Seraph left the mansion and returned to his room in the outer court dormitory.

Entering the familiar room, he felt slightly nostalgic. It had been a while he had slept here, and he wondered if it’d soon beco abandoned in the future.

’At least it’ll be a mory.’

After cleaning the room, he went to an inconspicuous corner and picked up a small storage ring.

Using his spiritual sense, he ejected all the items in it. Different types of ammunition, from hand guns, to cock-and-shoot, to sniper rifles, all hand made by him, fell to the ground.

Although they worked with the sa pattern as guns did on earth, he could say they were infinitely better.

After all, guns from Earth couldn’t kill cultivators. Imagine shooting a Peak Advanced cultivator with a pistol.

They’d simply swat off the attack with their hand.

However, these guns he had created were different. They were made from specific tal materials he had studied for months, and spent another set of months testing their compatibility with each type of gun.

’In the end, I made a collection of my favourite.’

Grinning, he stared at the guns on the ground, then picked up a pair of desert eagles he had made.

They were red in color, with the mouth shaped like eagle beaks.

’I should be able to handle anyone if they dare try to stop getting my friends back.’

He had already planned in his mind that during the war between the two sects, he would find a way to trace Ariana and Tamar, rescuing them from either the Reapers or the Inferno Sect itself.

Suddenly, there was a knock on his door, startling him.

He imdiately swept all the ammunition into his storage ring, then walked to the door. Without a word, he pulled the door open.

"Ah!"

Two guys jumped at each other, seemingly frightened by how suddenly Seraph had opened the door.

"Left? Right? What’s wrong with you two? Co inside already."

The two glanced at each other, then stepped inside.

The third person who was outside imdiately got annoyed. "Oi, Seraph! Are you ignoring ?!"

Seraph paused, looked at her, then said. "Do you want to co in?"

Sylvia scowled. "Let’s all go outside instead. Your room is a bit cramped and you all are n so..."

Before she could complain further, Seraph closed the door on her face.

"Bye~!"
