After Sylvia carefully devoured the extra plate of food Seraph had ordered, the two of them left the cafeteria and returned to the inner court dormitory.
This was where all inner court disciples lived, including the twins.
Well, with the sole exception of Seraph Skye, of course.
"Wait a minute. I don’t even know their rooms."
Seraph facepald as they entered the building. anwhile, Sylvia simply walked forward.
"They share a single room. Follow ."
As if a light bulb had appeared in his mind, Seraph’s eyes lit up, and he imdiately followed her.
Under Sylvia’s lead, they arrived at the twins’s room and gently knocked on the door.
"Who’s there?"
Right’s voice ca from the inside, and Sylvia answered.
"It’s , Sylvia and this brat, Seraph."
He imdiately shot her a glare with his rainbow eyes, though it didn’t look threatening in the slightest.
There was so shuffling on the inside, then Right ca to open the door.
"Please co in."
There was no need for irrelevant questions and formalities as he already knew why they were here.
Imdiately they stepped into the room, they saw Left peacefully slumbering in a dicinal bath, his breathing even.
Seraph noticed that the dicinal water seed to have lost most of its dicinal properties.
"If you prepared the herbs right, he should have been fine by now."
He folded his arms and frowned, looking at Left’s sleeping face with a puzzled expression.
Right’s shoulders slumped. "You’re right. According to the herbs, he should have been conscious all long. But yesterday, I found out that he had slept. And now, he wouldn’t wake up."
Sylvia walked up to Left, placing her hand on his chest. He was still breathing, his heartbeat steady.
Her eyes darted into the water after realizing he was naked, and she quick moved back. Thankfully, the water was murky so she couldn’t see what was underneath.
"He seems fine, except that he’s sleeping for too long."
Right nodded solemnly.
"Or could it be that he’s tired because of the injury and is recuperating?"
Sylvia nodded. "Yeah, that’s possible."
Suddenly, Seraph heard a familiar voice in his head, sounding tired.
["That boy’s soul has fallen into slumber. He’ll need strong stimulation to jolt him back awake."]
Seraph froze, then instinctively shouted. "Halo!"
Sylvia and Right turned to look at him in shock, wondering what was wrong with him.
Seraph felt embarrassed and waved it off. "Nothing to worry about. I’m just thinking of a solution."
Inwardly though, he was squealing. Although Halo had only been gone for a few days, the useful thing was still useful.
So, Seraph imdiately asked him about Left’s situation.
["Oh, that boy? He has actually gotten a dicine. Unfortunately, he’s still too green. His soul was healed and saturated. Now, it’s in a state of rest and he won’t wake up unless sothing triggers him.
’Sothing triggers him?’
Seraph’s eyes narrowed as he looked at Left carefully.
What could trigger such a person like Left? Wait. What kind of person was Left?
Seraph suddenly facepald. ’Why am I thinking of this when I can actually ask his brother?’
Seeing the duo’s attention turned to him again, he straightened and asked casually.
"Right, what do you think can trigger Left greatly?"
Right humd and pondered. "Let’s see. Maybe if I throw his claypot on him, he’ll wake up, and he’ll definitely kill ."
Sylvia imdiately shook her head. "That won’t work. It won’t trigger him to wake up. It’ll only make him angry after he wakes up."
Seraph agreed with her too, then turned to Right again. "What else can you think of?"
Slowly, Right’s expression turned weird, like he was slowly rembering sothing.
"This..."
His expression beca difficult, and he cast a hesitant gaze at Sylvia.
"What is it? Why are you suddenly looking like you are about to die?"
Right laughed awkwardly and shook his head. "It’s nothing. Nothing at all."
He knew one of his brother’s strange fetishes, but if he dared to ask Sylvia, then he might be the one ending up beaten into coma by the fierce girl.
He imdiately discarded the thought. However, with that idea clouding his mind, he couldn’t think of any other solution.
Seraph suddenly approached Left and placed a hand on his forehead.
"Hm? What now? Are you trying to bless him?" Sylvia snorted, wondering what he was doing sothing.
However, Seraph didn’t respond to her obvious provocation. Instead, he closed his eyes and began to ditate while standing.
Minutes passed, and soon enough, the conscious duo felt a subtle tremor pass through them.
They looked at each other with wide eyes, and imdiately snapped back to Seraph.
"S-soul pressure?!" Right couldn’t hide his shock, while Sylvia was a bit more reserved. Still, she was just as shocked as him.
Seraph’s soul pressure spread out, resting on the inner court dormitory like an invisible weight, making the building groan.
Sylvia’s expression darkened. "Now he wants to break this building too?"
She stepped forward to stop him, but Right pulled her back.
"Wait. Sister Sylvia, wait. Let’s actually see if there’s going to be a change."
The two of them turned back to Seraph, just in ti to see Left jolt awake. His eyes were wide, and when he looked at Seraph’s peaceful expression, he felt like this guy was an angel and a demon at the sa ti.
"Wow. He really woke up."
Sylvia couldn’t help but be amazed, but her amazent was cut short when Kaiser suddenly swayed.
She instinctively dashed forward and caught him before he could fall.
"He’s now asleep too, great."
She said in a flat tone. The pressure of Seraph’s soul was gone, and peace had returned to the inner court dormitory.
However, there was no doubt that the disciples would be confused at the mont.
Left and Right turned to see Sylvia gently cradling Seraph.
"This guy... to actually pull sothing like this off. He’s really impressive."
After Right had explained the situation to him, Left felt very grateful and wanted to express his gratitude. However, his savior was already unconscious, so he had to step back and chat later.
Sylvia laid Seraph on one of their beds in the room, then sat on a nearby stool.
"By the way, are you fully healed now, Left? No more injuries in your soul, right?"
The boy nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly! The dicinal herbs I and my brother got were top-notch! Certainly not sothing you can find without possessing our luck."
She rolled her eyes at his shaless, then turned back to Seraph.
He was finally stirring awake. Dazed and slightly confused, he turned and saw the three of them looking at him.
"What? Am I at my funeral?"
Right couldn’t hold back and burst into laughter, anwhile Left imdiately ca over to thank him with sincerity.
"2 months ago, if it hadn’t been for you, I would still be stuck in that bathtub. Thank you, really."
Seraph’s eyes widened in shock. "2 months?!"
He imdiately sprang to his feet, swayed, and fell back on the bed.
"Damn it. Tamar’s dicine."
He mumbled to himself in helplessness.
A small smile split across Sylvia’s face for a mont. When flustered, Seraph looked sohow cute to her.
"Alright. Don’t fret, Seraph. My brother’s only joking. You only passed out for a few minutes."
Seraph’s eyes snapped to Right. "Really?"
Two voices answered him, one inward, one outward.
["Really."]
"Really."
It was only then that Seraph finally rembered that Halo had returned.
’Right. This guy... uh, why have I forgotten your na?’
Inside, Halo chuckled. ["It’s Lord Halo. And it seems letting your soul touch another person gently caused you to forget a few insignificant things in your mories."]
Seraph nodded subtly. ’Oh, that makes sense... Lord Halo...’
Sothing felt weird. That na didn’t feel right.
Before he could think further, Sylvia said to him.
"You’re tired. You should rest here for a while. I’ll go get sothing for you from the cafeteria. Consider us even about the morning stuff now."
The white-haired boy cast her a grateful glance and adjusted himself on the bed.
With Sylvia out, he gave the twins the excuse of wanting to sleep and closed his eyes.
Instantly, he dived into his mind space to visit Halo... or was it Lord Halo? He frowned, but shrugged it off.
"So... where have you been, Lord Halo. You suddenly disappeared overnight. And so mods or should I call them admin, said you were offline."
Halo’s cube spun in the air, bright and dazzling.
["It’s not that simple, but it’s not too complex either. Just think of it as a check-up routine for all artificial intelligence like ."]
Seraph’s eyes narrowed. "Is that so..."
Halo humd, then imdiately changed the topic. ["You want to save Tamar, right? How about I sell you a pill that can actually do that?"]
"Eh? You have?"
Seraph was surprised and elated. This ans he didn’t have to try the ridiculous thods that he had read from the library books.
"Good, good. Let see them!"
