In the evening, Miyamoto and the others returned after their outing.
They gave Cain a brief report on the progress of their tasks for the day.
Nearly everyone had registered as hunters with the Hunter Guild and was now waiting for Cain to establish the hunting team so they could join.
Additionally, the recruitnt for Team Heaven had started operating effectively. The primary recruits were still poor children or orphans.
These individuals aspired to beco trainers but lacked the opportunity or ans to do so.
In the Kanto and Johto regions, there was still the possibility of joining Team Rocket. If they survived the selection process, they could beco trainers, albeit as mbers of Team Rocket. Even so, compared to a life of poverty, this was a significant improvent.
In the Hoenn region, similar organizations existed, but their recruitnt standards were much higher.
In Leafy Town, no such organization was present.
Previously, the Black Serpent Gang could barely sustain its own expenses, let alone support poor children and orphans.
However, Cain was different. By forming Team Heaven, he directly invested several million Pokédollars. This money was primarily used to purchase Pokémon to enhance the combat strength of current mbers, as well as to acquire Pokémon for new recruits.
Of course, Cain also established a set of rules to manage Team Heaven. Only those who passed a proper evaluation could beco official mbers; others would remain as reserves.
The Black Serpent Gang’s fighters were currently just reserve mbers of Team Heaven.
As for the new recruits, most were external mbers. Only after passing specific tests could they beco formal external mbers, and after an additional evaluation period, they could beco official mbers.
However, the tests for mbers were not as stringent or brutal as those of Team Rocket. They primarily focused on assessing loyalty.
For Cain, loyalty was the main requirent for external mbers.
For official mbers, they also needed to demonstrate so level of strength.
At the very least, they had to possess the combat ability of a Team Rocket official mber.
Cain delegated all these tasks to Skye, Alec, and Miyamoto.
The joint managent of these three helped avoid many issues and reduced the likelihood of unnecessary situations, such as soone accumulating too much power and threatening Cain’s position.
Moreover, Cain trusted Skye’s loyalty, assigning him the role of supervisor.
In just one day, Team Heaven still consisted of the original six official mbers, with Cain making seven.
The reserve mbers totaled thirteen, all forr Black Serpent Gang fighters.
Eight external mbers were also recruited today. They had not yet been assigned Pokémon but were provided with accommodation and food, which helped stabilize them.
Cain then handed over all the Wurmple captured earlier to the three leaders for distribution to the new recruits as their starter Pokémon.
These Wurmple were not particularly valuable, and their potential was similar, but they grew quickly. With sufficient food, they could evolve into Dustox in just over half a month, thereby gaining so combat strength.
Once a considerable number of Dustox were available, their collective strength would be quite impressive.
At that point, the new recruits would be taught about Pokémon, how to utilize Dustox, and loyalty towards Cain and the team would be instilled. This way, Team Heaven would soon have a solid foundation of mbers.
When the mber base reached a sufficient number, so would stand out and be selected to rise in rank, gradually refining Team Heaven’s structure.
With a successful model like Team Rocket’s, there was almost no need to worry about creating a system for Team Heaven.
Additionally, the team leaders were also forr Team Rocket mbers, so they were familiar with how the system operated.
Cain also provided several Dustox with slightly more strength to be distributed among the Black Serpent Gang fighters as part of their evaluations. Those who demonstrated loyalty to Team Heaven would receive a Dustox.
Once their loyalty was verified and their strength deed sufficient, they could beco the first official mbers of Team Heaven.
However, how far they progressed would depend on their potential.
After a brief eting where Cain assigned tasks for the next steps, he dismissed everyone.
Those brought from the Trial Island had shown good performance and loyalty. If given the opportunity, Cain would help improve their strength.
Currently, they were strong enough to manage a low-level organization, but after so ti, their strength would need to increase.
The day ca to an end. Team Heaven now consisted of one leader, six official mbers, thirteen reserve mbers, and eight external mbers.
Back in his room, Cain took out his equipnt to make Pokéblocks.
Aron’s Pokéblocks needed improvent, and he also needed to create suitable Pokéblocks for the young Absol to enhance its health.
At the sa ti, his Pokémon needed to digest what they had learned from today’s battles.
In the backyard, Tropius lay on the roof, keeping watch over the area. Since it didn’t participate in battles or training, its main task was to guard the surroundings.
Cain’s Gyarados also had a reduced role. Its task now was to expand the pond, and fortunately, with the addition of a group of Slowpoke, this project had accelerated significantly.
Cain had also scanned the Slowpoke with his system. Perhaps due to the presence of the Sharpedo, the weaker and lower-potential Slowpoke had been eliminated. The current Slowpoke had, at worst, yellow-orange quality, with the best reaching green quality.
So of these Slowpoke even had high levels. With so training and a Shellder, they could evolve into Slowbro.
Cain planned to construct a lake in the area, where the Slowpoke would serve as guardians, helping Cain oversee both the lake and the aquatic Pokémon inhabiting it.
Soon, Cain finished making the Pokéblocks for the young Absol.
He imdiately gave one to the shiny Absol. Under the grateful gaze of its mother, the shiny Absol peacefully fell asleep for the first ti.
By continuing to use these Pokéblocks, the shiny Absol would fully recover.
Then, Cain would have a new guardian for the mountain area.
