After only a single exchange, they had been utterly crushed.

Minister Kenjiro shouted hoarsely.
As he spoke, he undid the Poké Ball at his waist and threw it out.
"Skreee!!"
A silver-white Skarmory, gleaming with a tallic sheen, hovered in midair.
The mont Skarmory recognized the opponent in front of him, his montum visibly weakened by a large margin.
The imnse, inborn pressure of their difference in species made even Skarmory, who had already stepped into the high military rank, shudder uncontrollably.
But in the very next instant—
Once Skarmory understood the situation before him, a trace of resolve flashed through his eyes.
Now, facing this mighty Second-tier Legendary again, he had already steeled himself.
Boom!!
His steel wings beat with all their might, and the chaotic air currents ford into a violent storm that smashed forward with astonishing ferocity.
The entire research institute had already been left on the verge of collapse by w's power.
And after being swept through by this storm—
Countless chunks of debris and pieces of broken wall were gathered into the current, spinning at extre speed along the edges of the storm.
Seeing this, Minister Kenjiro did not hesitate in the slightest. With a sharp wave of his hand, he led everyone present to turn and retreat.
There was absolutely no way Skarmory could be w's match.
But fortunately, w had only just awakened from a state of severe injury and coma. Neither his strength nor his physical condition had returned to their peak.
Skarmory could at least barely stall him for a little while.
And because of that—
Minister Kenjiro was able to act so decisively, even if it ant throwing away the three minutes that had been bought with lives.
Their footsteps thundered.
After passing through several already shattered alloy gates, the group finally withdrew into the camp.
Looking around—
The entire camp of the Northern Military Division had also fallen into a miserable state of devastation.
Everywhere was a scene of wreckage and ruin. Several of the buildings closest to the research institute had already been sliced clean through at the middle by w's energy shockwave.
On the ground were one conspicuous earthen crater after another, as though the place had just been bombarded.
Quite a few Military personnel who had been inside the camp had been caught in w's attack the mont it struck.
Now they lay stiff on the ground, their lives and deaths unknown.
Minister Kenjiro frowned tightly and clenched his fists hard.
A deep sense of helplessness welled up in his heart.
They had obviously already inspected and confird it.
w's physical condition should not have allowed him to wake up until at least a week later.
At first, he had thought this misfortune might actually turn into a blessing.
After all, once they brought back this unique Second-tier Legendary for research, it could have advanced the Military's technological developnt.
Instead, the entire Military Division was about to be razed to the ground by him!
Rumble!!!
A violent explosion rang out without warning.
Everyone instinctively looked up toward the direction the sound had co from.
The silver Skarmory shot into the sky like an arrow released from a bow, smashing straight through the already tottering roof of the research institute.
That smooth body of silver iron feathers, which had once glead with a sharp tallic brilliance—
Now looked as though it had been ground dull, completely stripped of its forr luster.
After tracing an arc through the sky, the Skarmory, now utterly unable to fight, fell beyond the horizon, his fate unknown.
At the sight of that scene—
Minister Kenjiro's breathing grew visibly heavier.
His gaze shifted—
Fixing itself on the pink Pokémon slowly rising into the air above the research institute, wrapped in pink Psychic-type energy.
The intense resentnt and fury in his heart transford into an even deeper powerlessness.
At this mont—
Only three figures remained in Minister Kenjiro's mind.
WarGreymon!!!
