It was immune to Poison, making it a hard counter to the Poison-type Arbok.
Even though Kenji's Arbok was part Dragon, Dragon moves were still resisted by Steel.

The mont Magnezone appeared, Xu Fei shouted the command.
The large central eye of Magnezone glowed blue. A special electromagnetic wave pulsed outward, scanning the surroundings.
Lock-On. It targets the opponent, ensuring the next move hits without fail.

A strange sound echoed. A red target reticle appeared in Magnezone's vision.
It was locked onto Arbok.

The mont it locked onto Arbok, a blinding ball of electricity gathered in front of Magnezone.

The 120-power Zap Cannon fired. It moved incredibly fast, like a terrifying artillery shell, blasting into the black mist below.

Typhlosion roared. Manipulating Fire energy, it whipped up a wave of scorching air across the battlefield.
It controlled the range carefully to avoid hitting the floating Magnezone.
Heat Wave was an Area of Effect move. One slip-up could hurt allies.
Against Arbok or the airborne Dragonite, Heat Wave wasn't particularly effective.
But the goal wasn't to deal damage; it was to disperse the Haze.

A terrifying explosion erupted. The Zap Cannon landed, lighting up the entire arena with blinding electricity. The shockwave instantly vaporized and blew away the surrounding black mist.
Although the mist wasn't fully cleared from the edges, the area where the Zap Cannon hit was completely exposed.
Replacing the mist was a cloud of rising dust.
When the dust settled, a large crater was revealed in the ground.
In the center of the crater, Arbok stood tall, looking up coldly. It didn't have a single scratch on its body.
