The pointer on the Master Draw wheel began spinning wildly.

Held items, consumables, dicines, rare artifacts, Technical Machines, special items—one category after another flashed by. Peter stared without blinking, anticipation building with every tick.

Gacha pulls were all about one thing—

Tension.

Finally, the pointer slowed…

and ca to a stop on Evolution Items!

[Ding! Master Draw complete. Obtained: Mid-grade Fire Stone ×1!]

[Mid-grade Fire Stone: A high-quality Fire Stone. Allows certain Fire-type Pokémon to evolve normally, and can also be used to assist Fire-type training or to craft enhanced food and items.]

"Not bad~" Peter chuckled, putting the Fire Stone away.

It wasn't sothing he needed personally—but it was perfect for selling.

Compared to the premium, top-tier evolution stones Whitney had prepared for him, this Fire Stone was more suitable for the average Trainer, aning it would be easy to move.

On the market, evolution stones were considered rare resources. While they weren't as valuable as fossils, selling one for 80,000 to 100,000 Poké Dollars was completely reasonable—just enough to ease Peter's financial pressure.

Since the two little ones still needed so ti for their checkups, Peter took Dolliv out to the courtyard to bask in the sunlight and pulled out his phone.

There was a popular Trainer Forum on SNS where people frequently traded items.

But the mont he opened the app—

Ding ding ding ding—

Private ssage notifications went off nonstop.

The alerts rang for quite a while. Thankfully, the communication phone Whitney had given him—the Pokegear Mate 60—didn't lag at all.

No questions.

It was simply ahead of its ti.

Opening the comnts, Peter quickly understood what was going on—

His last post had blown up.

"Serious question—are those ten consecutive wins real? A rookie beating Bronze-tier opponents across levels?"

"I was there. It's real. Honestly, playing psychological warfare at that level doesn't look newbie at all."

"Ten wins? So what? You'll never earn the approval of , Wang Long!"

"Hmph, Kahili clearly held back! I hate clowns who hype themselves up over a single lucky win!"

"Alright buddy, stop trying to feel important online—real life probably isn't treating you too well."

"I, Fionn from Rainbow University, officially declare that Peter's style is pure scheming filth! He even toyed with my goddess Nessa—absolutely shaless!"

"Wait wait—what do you an toyed with? Please elaborate."

"…"

Peter didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Beating Nessa and Kahili had earned him a whole lot of haters.

Of course—

It also earned him a ton of attention.

Scrolling through the chaos, Peter spotted a familiar ID:

I'm-not-a-crybaby-who-gets-lost:

"Wow~! Peter is amazing!!"

It was Whitney's account.

Peter smiled and replied casually:

"There's sothing even more impressive. Want to see it?"

Almost instantly, she replied:

"Ahhh I want it, I want it! Give it to now~! (Excited)"

"…Uh."

That girl really needed to watch her wording.

That kind of sentence could easily lead to misunderstandings.

Peter glanced around guiltily. Only after confirming no one was paying attention did he finally calm down.

Ever since he and Whitney had made things official, his resistance to her had been dropping alarmingly fast…

"Wait for it~"

He replied, fingers flying across the screen.

In no ti, he finished editing the previously recorded Oreburgh Gym Challenge footage and uploaded it.

Caption included:

"Rookie 2v3 challenge at Oreburgh Gym—0 losses, sweep across tiers!"

After realizing that arena profits were tied to viewership, Peter had consciously started building his popularity.

And in the Pokémon world, that wasn't hard—

You just had to make a na for yourself in battles, research, Contests, or breeding.

That was why he always recorded his matches.

One reason was post-battle analysis.

The other was expanding his online influence.

Who knew—maybe one day he'd return to his old profession and beco a Pokémon battle strear.

Sothing like Raihan from Galar, or Iono from Paldea.

At that point, he wouldn't have to stress about money every single day.

After picking up the two little ones from Nurse Joy, Peter video-called Whitney.

He listened patiently as she talked about her daily life, while also telling her about Lopunny and Indeedee. The two of them shared in each other's happiness.

"Waaah… they're both the super-cute type!"

Whitney cupped her slightly chubby cheeks, eyes sparkling as she stared at the tiny Indeedee on-screen.

"Oh right—do you have targets for the remaining three teammates yet?"

"Mm… for now, I'll have to wait for my teacher's ssage. I'm planning to train a Slakoth as my main physical attacker. And if I get the chance, I want to go to the Unova region."

"Huh? Why Unova all of a sudden?" Whitney asked, puzzled.

"I want to catch a Zorua."

Zorua was a Generation V Pokémon and didn't naturally appear in Sinnoh.

"I see… that sounds hard. Do you need help?"

Whitney knew how tricky Zorua could be—extrely cunning, with the Illusion Ability that allowed it to disguise itself as other Pokémon.

Most Trainers couldn't even recognize one, let alone capture it.

"Yeah… it'll be troubleso," Peter admitted.

But seeing the worry in her pink eyes, he smiled gently.

"It's fine. Indeedee can help with psychic detection. I should manage—don't worry about ."

"You just focus on living well back ho and developing your Gym. I'll reach our goal soon enough."

"Mm—okay!"

After chatting for a while longer, Whitney reluctantly hung up.

Peter casually listed the Mid-grade Fire Stone for sale on the forum and left his contact information.

Then, he began sorting through the rest of his rewards.

First up—two held items:

[Power Lens]:

A base-point training item. When held, it restricts Speed due to added weight, but accelerates growth in Special Attack.

[Heat Rock]:

A stone infused with intense heat. When held, the duration of Sunny Day is extended from 5 turns to 8 turns.

No debate needed—Power Lens went straight to Dolliv.

Later, once Indeedee grew stronger, it could use it as well.

As for Heat Rock, it was also a perfect fit for Dolliv. It synergized well with Sunny Day strategies and would be extrely effective when facing Water-type or Steel-type Gyms.

More importantly—

Under Sunny Day, Weather Ball would transform into a 100-power Fire-type move.

That ant Heat Rock might shine even during the Eterna Gym challenge.

Peter nodded to himself, satisfied.

Step by step—

His path forward was becoming clearer.
