"Nemona-senpai?! That was her?"
Peter froze in place.
He hadn't expected to run into Nemona of all people.
Unlike other regions, Paldea had a unique Champion system—multiple Champions could exist at the sa ti. The officially recognized League Champion was the strongest among them, a trainer known as Geeta.
In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Nemona was portrayed as both a rival and a guide—soone with full Champion-level strength who also served as the student council president at the academy. Because of that, players affectionately dubbed her "Nemona-senpai."
But clearly, in this point of the tiline, Nemona was still just a new Trainer, not yet the monster she would beco.
"So she's a future Champion…"
Peter exhaled softly.
"No wonder she was so calm under pressure during the battle."
Shaking his head, he allocated the newly earned talent points to Indeedee. Its Special Attack surged to a terrifying new height.
Indeedee ♀ | Lv.17 (Novice)
Ability: Psychic Surge (Preliminarily Mastered)
Talent: 465 (Species cap: 475)
HP: 60Attack: 30Defense: 60Special Attack: 135Special Defense: 80Speed: 100
Moves:
Proficient: Calm MindMastered: Stored Power, Fake Out, Psychic, Helping Hand, Self-SuggestionLearned: Psyshock, Psychic Terrain, Disarming Voice, Encore
…
Indeedee's base talent hadn't been overwhelming at first—but its learning ability was absurd.
In just a few days, its move pool had expanded dramatically. Even difficult techniques like Psychic Terrain could now be fully deployed after Calm Mind. Its Ability control had also deepened.
Peter fed it a Pokéblock, then queued up another round of simulated battles.

Paldea Region · Naranja Academy
A sporty girl with a high ponytail suddenly jolted awake from her sleep.
She wore a cropped shirt and loose shorts, her long, toned legs wrapped in black stockings. Her healthy tan skin, bright eyes, and slightly sharp eyebrows radiated boundless vitality.
It was Nemona.
"Why would I dream about sothing like that…?"
She shook her head, propped herself up, and casually scrolled through her phone.
Then—her finger froze.
"Wait… he said his na was Peter?"
She typed quickly.
Peter — 'Bug Brother'?
Genius rookie forces the League to change Gym Challenge rules?!
Her eyes widened as article after article popped up.
"…Sinnoh Region… Eterna City?"
A strand of green hair swayed as excitent ignited in her orange eyes.
"Decision made. I'm going on a journey!"

Back in the Present
Peter had already completed another full round of simulations with Indeedee.
Lopunny, Dolliv, and the others had also wrapped up their assigned training.
Exiting the Dream Space, Peter opened the system panel and distributed his stats:
Special Attack & Speed → IndeedeePhysical Attack → SlakothHP & Dual Defenses → Dolliv
By this point, Indeedee's talent was fully capped—
Special Attack broke past 140, Speed hit 105, and Slakoth's Physical Attack crept ever closer to 100.
Checking his balance, Peter still had nearly two million Poké Dollars left.
"I'll keep so for daily expenses…"
"The rest—ti to spend big."
After a brief pause, he opened the Gacha Interface.
Breaking talent caps now wouldn't help much without enough resources to keep upgrading everyone. Pulling for items was the smarter play.
…

The rewards were insane.

"Relax, I've got TP. I'll be there in a sec!"
"With ga Stones secured, all that's left is a Key Stone…"
Peter's heart pounded.
ga Lopunny alone would beco one of his strongest trump cards.
"The Garchomp ga Stone…"
He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Maybe I can give this to Cynthia soday—great way to build goodwill."
He also still had an Aggron ga Stone. Maybe he could connect with Steven Stone of Hoenn down the line.
Leftovers were perfect for Dolliv, especially against low-pressure stall teams.
Power Bracer went straight to Slakoth.
Power Weight could be rotated among the team.
The two TMs were perfectly tid:
Trick Room synergized brutally with Slakoth's ultra-low Speed.Solar Beam drastically improved Dolliv's breakthrough potential.
Under Trick Room, Slakoth would gain absolute priority.
That alone was ga-changing.
As for the Teleport skill…
Peter chuckled softly.
"If Whitney misses …"
"I could just pop back and surprise her."
The image of the lively Miltank girl made him smile.
…
The gacha had paid off.
And from here on out—
Peter's road to dominance was officially wide open.
