The Tower of Ti and Space—the colossal architectural instrunt that appeared in the ani movie at Alamos Town—was capable of playing the prayer song "Oración."

A lody said to calm all rage and conflict.

In the original story, Ash and his friends activated the tower to halt the clash between the gods of ti and space, restoring the shattered flow of reality.

As for the Adamant Orb…

That thing was on an entirely different level.

It was Dialga's sacred treasure, comparable to Groudon's Red Orb or Arceus's Plates—a divine artifact reserved exclusively for top-tier Legendary Pokémon.

Yet as centuries passed, humanity's understanding of the Pokémon of myth faded.

Only a handful of scholars and researchers still knew the Adamant Orb's true purpose.

Ironically—

Even fewer than the villains did.

Peter shook his head slightly.

In the later ani arcs, once everyone realized that Team Galactic planned to summon the gods of ti and space to destroy the world, the Alliance attempted to relocate the Adamant Orb—

Only for it to be snatched away by Team Galactic instead.

"…Should I act first?"

Peter glanced at the crystalline Adamant Orb, then suppressed the thought.

This kind of thing was better handled as the last mover.

According to the tiline, when Team Galactic finally made their move, that would be the mont to strike.

By then, he would have the strength to intervene.

Gardenia soon stepped onto the museum stage and began her lecture.

Today's topic revolved around Sinnoh's ancient myths.

Peter already knew all of this by heart. With little interest in listening, he wandered through the museum instead.

By dusk, Gardenia found him again.

"Alright, alright—sorry to keep you waiting~!"

She led Peter back to the Gym and stepped onto the battlefield platform.

"Co on, Peter. If you can beat , I'll teach you the technique for making Interdiate Pokéblocks~"

"…Really?"

Peter's eyes lit up.

Roark had ntioned before that adding dicinal herbs could improve Pokéblock quality, but Peter knew next to nothing about that area.

That was the whole reason he ca to seek Gardenia's help.

"Hehe~ it's not entirely free though," Gardenia said shyly.

"I'll need a small favor later."

"Deal."

Peter's expression sharpened as he took out a Poké Ball.

"Let's begin."

….

"Eterna Gym Battle!

Challenger Peter from Goldenrod City vs. Gym Leader Gardenia!

Format: 3-on-3.

The Gym Leader may switch Pokémon once; the challenger has no restrictions!"

"I heard from Roark that you're pretty strong," Gardenia said with a grin.

"So I'll start with this one—go, Cherrim!"

A Poké Ball burst open, and a purple flower Pokémon drifted gracefully onto the field.

Green sepals covered its head, while two tiny pink feet peeked out beneath the petals—adorable in a slightly sneaky way.

[Cherrim (Overcast Form) lv33 — Advanced]

Ability: Flower Gift

(Transforms into Sunny Form in harsh sunlight, boosting the Attack and Special Defense of all allied Pokémon by 50%.)

Peter narrowed his eyes.

According to the ani tiline, Gardenia's Cherrim shouldn't have evolved yet.

Which ant—

Gym Leaders clearly kept multiple lineups.

And this Cherrim probably wasn't even her main ace.

After all, anyone qualified to be a Gym Leader had to possess at least one Gym-tier Pokémon.

Misty and Whitney were special cases—most Gym Leaders weren't simply inheritors.

"Flower Gift with Sunny Day, huh…"

Peter smiled faintly.

"Then it's you—Dolliv, let's go!"

"Dolli~"

The grass-skirted cutie appeared on the field, branches swaying gently as a soft fragrance spread through the air.

[Dolliv lv29 — Interdiate]

Gardenia blinked.

"Even if you send out adorable Dolliv, I won't go easy on you~"

"No need," Peter replied calmly.

"The outco won't change."

"Oh? Now you've got my attention."

The referee raised his hand.

"Battle—begin!"

"Dolliv—Substitute!"

Peter opened with Substitute without hesitation.

In real-world battles, Substitute functioned more like a tangible shadow clone, controllable via intent.

Even if the opponent targeted the real body, the substitute could intercept the damage.

It also enabled advanced tactics—

Substitute Dig, Substitute Fly—baiting out moves before delivering the finishing blow.

"Huh? No attack?" Gardenia tilted her head.

"Cherrim—Sunny Day!"

She set the weather imdiately.

Against a special attacker like Dolliv, Sunny Day greatly enhanced Cherrim's Special Defense.

Peter's lips curved upward.

"Heh… I'll take that sunshine. Dolliv—Growth!"

Green light wrapped around Dolliv as both Attack and Special Attack surged.

"So you predicted that…" Gardenia's eyes glead.

"Then try this! Keep using Petal Blizzard!"

"Whoooosh—!"

Leaves and petals surged like razor-sharp blades, shredding the Substitute instantly.

The remaining waves clipped Dolliv as well.

"Dolli…"

Leaves fell from Dolliv's body—

Yet the glow flared again.

It had endured the Petal Blizzard and completed a second Growth.

Under Sunny Day, Dolliv's offenses were now 4—a 300% boost.

Even against another Grass-type, it now held overwhelming initiative.

Peter smiled—his signature grin.

"Offense and defense… have switched."

"You traded a lot of HP for buffs," Gardenia said, eyes sharp.

"But that won't be enough—Cherrim is much faster!

Charge in—Take Down!"

Take Down—a Normal-type physical move with recoil.

"Been waiting for that," Peter murmured.

Cherrim rode the wind, glowing white as it slamd toward Dolliv—

Its Attack massively boosted by Flower Gift.

Just before impact—

"Protect!"

A multicolored barrier enveloped Dolliv.

BANG!

Take Down struck cleanly—but couldn't pierce the shield.

Cherrim was knocked back, staggering midair.

"Now—Weather Ball!"

"DOLLI—NO!!"

The sunlight intensified.

A blazing fireball condensed above Dolliv and shot forward.

BOOOOM—!

Flas erupted across the field.

A shadow fell.

Cherrim crashed to the ground, its petals scorched black, leaf-crown completely withered.

"Hang in there, Cherrim—Morning Sun!"

Morning Sun began gathering light—

But it was too late.

After a brief struggle, Cherrim collapsed.

"Cherrim is unable to battle!

Gym Leader Gardenia, please send out your next Pokémon!"

[Ding! Over-tier Gym Challenge Victory!

Universal Talent Points ×4 obtained!]

Gardenia recalled her Pokémon slowly.

"…You even hid Weather Ball?" she said, smiling wryly.

"But your Dolliv doesn't feel like an Interdiate-tier Pokémon at all…"

She raised her second Poké Ball.

"Alright then—let's get serious."
