Black Kyurem, though its self-awareness was suppressed, felt an instinctive, primal threat.

A continuous, low growl emanated from its throat.
Its muscles tensed, and the generator on its tail began to hum as it instinctively adjusted its energy output.
"Rayquaza!!"
Ghetsis's eyes flickered with excitent and madness.
"Rayquaza, the Lord of the Sky! The creature known as the supre myth, aloof from the world!"
"But I have the strength to fight you! I have the qualifications!" Ghetsis shouted, pointing his cane at the black dragon.
"Black Kyurem is the Strongest Dragon!"
"Rayquaza," Sam asked softly, stroking the dragon's scales, which were harder than diamonds.
"Do you agree with him?"
"ROOOAAAR!!!!"
Rayquaza imdiately responded with a high-pitched, furious roar.
Endless turbulence surged around them.
How could the arrogant Sky High Pokémon admit that a man-made fusion was stronger than itself? It was an insult.
"I thought so," Sam smiled, his eyes sharpening.
"Then... let's show them the true power of a God."
"ga Evolve!"
Sam poured his three Powers (Aura, Psychic, Viridian) into the bond.
"ROOOAAAR!!!!!!!"
Rayquaza underwent a rapid, terrifying transformation.
Its body lengthened. Its erald skin turned to the color of the void—jet black.
Golden ribbons of light exploded from its jaws, trailing behind it like cots.
The Delta symbol glowed on its forehead.
ga Black Rayquaza.
The domineering montum climbed to the absolute peak, spreading across the sky and suppressing the weather itself.
Sam looked down at Ghetsis, his eyes burning with fighting spirit.
"It is undeniable that the Black Kyurem is strong," Sam said arrogantly.
"But one thing I am sure of."
"You will lose."
Facing Sam's absolute confidence and the crushing pressure of ga Rayquaza, Ghetsis's complacency evaporated.
"You know I will lose before we even fight?!" Ghetsis hissed, his voice dark.
"How arrogant!!"
"Arrogant?"
Sam cast a disdainful glance at the villain.
"No. This is confidence."
Sam spread his arms.
"Look around you, Ghetsis. Everywhere you look... this is Rayquaza's territory."
"As long as the Sky exists, my Rayquaza is invincible!"
Sam had reason to be confident.
Black Kyurem (Dragon/Ice) theoretically held a massive Type advantage over Rayquaza (Dragon/Flying).
Ice is 4x effective against Flying Dragons.
However, ga Rayquaza possessed the Ability Delta Stream.
It created a "Mysterious Air Current" that erased the Flying type's weaknesses.
Ice moves would only do normal damage.
Furthermore, there was the raw power gap.
In terms of Species Strength (Base Stats), Black Kyurem stood at 700. ga Rayquaza stood at 780.
It was a clash between a Demigod and a True God.
"Good!" Ghetsis roared, losing his patience.
"Then let us fight!"
"Black Kyurem! Use Glaciate!"
"Freeze the earth! Transform the battlefield into our domain!"
"ROAR!!"
Black Kyurem let out a deafening roar. The tubes connecting its back to its tail pulsed with blue light.
It flapped its wings, unleashing a wave of absolute zero cold.

The temperature dropped sharply. The moisture in the air froze instantly.
A layer of frost covered the ruins of the Alliance Headquarters, turning the land into hard permafrost.
Ghetsis's idea was simple: Since he couldn't change the weather due to Rayquaza's aura, he would freeze the ground.
A low-temperature environnt would hinder Rayquaza's movent and boost Ice-type attacks.
"Trying to change the terrain to gain an advantage? Nice idea," Sam noted calmly.
"But useless."
"Rayquaza! Use Draco teor!"
"Crush the ice!"
"ROAAAR!!!!"
The 100-ter-long Black ga Rayquaza glowed with orange energy. It roared at the heavens.
High above the sky, a portal opened. Countless massive teors, burning with draconic energy, ford in the void.
Under the traction of Rayquaza's golden ribbons, they fell.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
It was an apocalyptic bombardnt.
The huge energy teors smashed into the frozen earth, shattering the permafrost and lting the ice instantly.
The shockwaves destroyed Ghetsis's attempt to control the terrain.
Seeing this, Ghetsis's eyes froze.
"Black Kyurem! Activate Overdrive Mode!"
Whirrrr!
The turbine on Black Kyurem's tail began to spin wildly.
Electricity and ice mixed, emitting a white gas that spread rapidly.
The dragon was pushing its limits, entering a state of high-voltage output.
In response, Sam smiled.
"Rayquaza! Dragon Dance!"
"ROOOAAAR!!!!!"
Black ga Rayquaza moved its massive body in a mystical, rhythmic pattern.
Ancient power surged through its muscles. Its Attack and Speed rose sharply.
Both sides had finished their preparations.
Both Black Kyurem and ga Rayquaza had reached the apex of their abilities.
The warm-up was over.
The battle for the title of the Strongest Dragon was about to begin in earnest!
