Alex tried to run after Janine but then noticed after a short pain that his right knee was too injured for him to run now. He almost fell to the ground trying to run.
Although he can still stand, his mobility is very restricted.
Maria, Elise, and Daniel were also close to Alex but nobody was strong enough to do anything.
None of these three had superhuman bodies or were Psychics. but their mindset changed when the three saw Alex get hurt. or for at least one of the three it changed.
Maria ran towards Janine with a small knife (dagger) after she saw that Alex was injured and in trouble. Maria knew she wasn't strong enough to actually hurt Janine with that weapon but she ignored that fact when she saw Alex get hurt.
She just hopes that Alex buys a little ti.
Janine saw Maria striking right from the beginning and easily avoided it. Then she grabbed Maria's wrist and broke the wrist with which the dagger was held.
"Hu... AARRRGHHH!"
Maria wasn't very sensitive to pain but the pain from her broken hand made her cry out.
Janine ignored Maria's cry of pain and pushed her to the ground with her broken arm. She showed an indifferent expression as Maria's screams grew louder as she treated that broken arm cruelly.
She even stepped on one of Maria's legs when Maria was on the ground. With this action, she also broke Maria's leg.
Alex's expression turned to one of pure anger when he saw this. He forgot the pain in his knee at that mont and he humped in the direction of Janine.
He screams at the sa ti," JANINE, WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING. DO YOU WANT TO DIE."
Janine showed an emotional expression as she replied, "Don't worry I didn't kill her. It's not a life-threatening injury. I don't want to break the rules. I just wanted to incapacitate her."
Alex's expression cald down a bit when he heard that Maria's life was not in danger. Although he is still very angry for the pain Janine caused Maria, he suppressed this anger as best he could. It wasn't a good mont to act without thinking.
Luckily injuries like broken bones and similar injuries are very easy to heal in this world. These injuries of Maria will not affect her in the future.
In the Pokemon world, a cold is harder to heal than a broken arm.
after defeating Maria, Janine started running toward Alex again with her Kunai in her hand.
She also knew that her team's Pokemons probably wouldn't win against Alex's team, so her only chance was now to defeat Alex and then remove this weird-looking electronic watch from his body.
Then she can disqualify Alex with a few buttons. After that, the Pokemon or Humans in Alex's team are not allowed to interfere in this test and she won even if all her Pokemon were defeated.
Alex knew that too but he showed a calm expression when Janie arrived back into fighting range.
Janine uses her kunai and aims again at Alex's knee joint to hit Alex again in the sa place.
Alex realized she was using the sa move again and tried to hit Janine with a quick jab. (jab= A quick straight punch.)
This punch was even faster than Alex's last punch, even though it had less power behind it.
But Janine was truthfully more experienced in combat than Alex was and she dodged this blow with a quick movent. Imdiately afterward, Janine stabbed her kunai in Alex's wrist and hit it as Alex tried to bring his hand back.
Her real goal from the start wasn't Alex's knee joint and what just happened was her real goal. Janine just wanted Alex to throw another punch so she could easily hit the weak spot on his arm as he tried to bring his arm back to his body. She even uses similar movents again so that Alex does just that.
Alex's jab and the return of his hand all happened in an extrely short ti but Janine still managed with her superhuman speed and reflexes to hit the small area on Alex's wrist.
Luckily Alex wasn't expecting to hit Janine with his first jab so he threw a jab with his other hand as well.
He stepped into Janine's trap, but he was also blessed that she was now very vulnerable to his second jab.
these super-fast jabs are very difficult even for Janine to dodge if she doesn't have full focus.
Alex wasn't very greedy this ti either and didn't try to hit Janine's head directly with his punch. He aid at Janine's chest. He didn't even feel any pain at that mont even though he had just suffered a wound on his wrist.
Janine tried to dodge but was hit this ti and she was knocked back several ters by this blow.
Normally, jabs aren't particularly powerful, but when your hand is as hard as steel and you're still throwing these jabs at a ridiculous speed is it not comparable to normal jabs.
Janine landed on her two feet as She fell back to the ground. She wore a slightly pained expression but didn't look like she was incapable of fighting.
Alex was a bit surprised to see his punch doing so little.
He always thought he understood Janine's strengths and weaknesses well.
if Alex and Janine were ga characters, Alex would distribute the attributes like this.
Alex: Strength 25, Speed 15, Defense 60,
He himself is basically all defense and not very balanced. Although not very effective for winning against an opponent, this distribution is optimal for surviving or at least prolonging a fight.
He thought that Janine was spread out like this or at least sothing like that.
Janine: Strength 30, Speed 50, Defense 20,
But now that he had a bit of experience against Janine in combat, he would rate her very differently.
Janine: Strength 40, Speed 70, Defense 40,
Alex would not have thought that Janine's body is not only so ridiculously fast but also that this body could take so much damage.
She was even stronger than Alex as he burns his psychic energy to make himself stronger. Janine is much stronger than Alex. It wasn't comparable.
Janine looked at Alex with a slightly dissatisfied expression as she said, "Why are you still standing?"
Alex who heard this started to smile. man would think by looking at the faces of the two that Alex was winning this fight. even when the truth is just the opposite.
Janine shows a puzzled expression as she observes Alex's expression and body. When she didn't notice any difference after a few seconds, she beca even more confused.
She has sared her kunai with paralytic poison, which is difficult to see for a normal human. Normally every small wound ans that she almost has a direct victory.
Even an Elite-level Pokemon would be paralyzed by the sa amount of paralyzing poison that Alex had in his bloodstream. Alex's body is not comparable to an Elite-level Pokemon so Alex should have even bigger problems with this paralyzing poison.
Normally Alex shouldn't even be able to stand or move.
Alex's smile widened as he sensed the battle of the Pokemons was over. Gardevoir was the first to appear in front of Alex.
Gardevoir uses [Psychic] and knocks Janine's body down before she could even react.
Janine could not move and was on the verge of falling unconscious from the power Gardevoir was using.
'Hmm, Gardevoir must be a bit enraged or she wouldn't use that much force. ...Not that it's a problem.'
Janine, however, ignored the pain and only said in a whisper, "how"
She wanted to know how Alex had overco her poison.
But Alex didn't say anything and just watched as Janine passed out. He wasn't about to tell her how he did it.
