Bangila, who had been preparing for a long ti, stared coldly at Zapdos in the sky.
A massive hand made entirely of sand rose up—

There was no escape.
Blinded by rage, Zapdos had already lost all reason. It beat its wings violently, summoning a raging storm. Countless sharp wind blades ford within it, slicing forward.
The blades shredded the sand arm again and again.
But Zapdos soon realized sothing was wrong.
No matter how many tis it destroyed the arm—

Again. And again.
Its attacks were aningless.
The sand hand regenerated endlessly, far beyond Zapdos's expectations.
At this point, Zapdos's feathers stood on end, a clear sign of extre fury—
—but it still changed nothing.
It was the perfect picture of helpless rage.
"Zapdos, don't just look in front of you… watch your back too."
Sam's calm voice carried through the air.
Zapdos froze.
It turned sharply—
—and saw another massive sand hand rushing toward it from behind.
It tried to summon wind blades again, but this ti, Bangila didn't give it the chance.
The first hand surged forward once more.

—no escape.
"Aweso!!!" Ash stared up at the sky, completely stunned. He never imagined Sam had already reached this level. They had started their journeys at the sa ti…
"Maybe… we don't even need to summon Lugia anymore," Misty said in a daze. "It feels like Sam can defeat all three Legendary Pokémon alone."
"Don't be ridiculous!!!" Brock cut in sharply.
"Sam is struggling more than it looks. Legendary Pokémon aren't that easy to deal with. If we can summon Lugia, it'll make everything much easier. That's the best thing we can do right now."
Ash and Misty snapped back to their senses.
"Yeah… you're right!"
"Flora, you've got this!!!"
The clear, gentle sound of the flute echoed across the island.
Far out at sea, a massive shadow stirred.
Hearing the flute, Lugia imdiately understood.
Without hesitation, the Sea Guardian turned and rushed toward the sound.
Back on the battlefield—
Zapdos was trapped.
The two massive sand hands closed in, gripping it tightly. The sand began to shift and compress, forming a giant sphere that completely sealed Zapdos inside.
Just like a crushing prison.
Inside, lightning exploded again and again, tearing the sand apart—
—but every ti it broke, it reford instantly.
The sky echoed with thunder.
"Bangila… it's ti to finish this."
Sam knew this couldn't hold Zapdos forever. Once it adapted, it would break free.
But that wasn't the goal.
This trap only needed to do one thing—
lock Zapdos in place.
So it couldn't dodge the final attack.
Wind energy began to gather in Bangila's hands.
It condensed—
compressed—
taking shape into a sphere.
But unlike before, this one was stable.
Controlled.
Bangila focused completely, pouring more energy into it. Slowly, the sphere began to spin.
Faster.
Sharper.
Its form shifted—
—from a sphere…
—into a shuriken.
Far away, even Lorelei, still battling Articuno, noticed it.
Her expression turned serious.
No one understood the power of this technique better than she did.
Even a Legendary Pokémon—
—wouldn't survive it unscathed.
"Bangila… launch it."
Sam's voice was calm.
The spinning shuriken left Bangila's hand.
At that exact mont, the sand prison began to crumble.
Zapdos was about to break free.
It let out an excited cry—
—but before it could celebrate—
—it saw it.
The spinning shuriken.
For a split second, Zapdos froze.
Was this… really sothing a Pokémon could control?
The cutting wind reached it first—
sharp enough to sting its entire body awake.
Zapdos tried to escape, flapping its wings desperately—
—but it was too late.
The attack had already begun.
