The Trainers on the dock had completely lost their reason.
Driven mad by greed, their eyes burned with desire as the promise of money drowned out all fear.
"Charge!!!"
The mont one Trainer made the first move, the others followed without hesitation. Poké Balls flew through the air as Pokémon were summoned, and attacks rained down on the Tentacool swarming the sea.
Among them, the most eye-catching were the three mbers of Team Rocket.
Jessie, Jas, and owth paddled their small boat straight toward the Tentacool群, charging in recklessly.
Watching the trio quickly beco surrounded, Sam couldn't help but sigh.
Team Rocket really was sprinting further and further down the road to disaster.
Yet Jessie, Jas, and owth showed no fear at all.
They dumped owth's so-called "special secret weapon" directly into the Tentacool swarm.
"Hahaha! owth, if we get the bonus this ti, I'll treat you to a huge al!" Jessie laughed.
"Really, Jessie?!" owth's eyes sparkled.
"I want to buy a brand-new commorative bottle cap!" Jas added excitedly.
Just as the three of them began dreaming about their bright future—
Sothing massive surfaced.
A gigantic shadow rose from the sea.
It was Tentacruel.
But its size instantly stunned everyone present.
This Tentacruel was over fifty ters tall, towering above the buildings on the pier. With a single movent of its massive body, the ocean churned violently, waves surging high into the air.
"Th-that thing… is that really Tentacruel?" Misty gasped, her mouth hanging open.
Ash and Brock were no better off—both frozen in shock, completely speechless.
Even Sam, who already knew this was coming, felt a chill run through him.
If he hadn't seen the giant Dragonite before, this sight alone would have been enough to terrify him.
The Trainers attacking the Tentacool finally realized sothing was terribly wrong.
They tried desperately to recall their Pokémon and flee—but the giant Tentacruel had no intention of letting them escape.
With an enraged roar, the sea itself responded.
Waves dozens of ters high slamd into the dock, seawater pouring into the city behind it.
The greedy Trainers were swept away in chaos, overwheld by the raging water and the furious Tentacool surrounding them.
"Damn it! Damn it! Don't destroy my hotel! Kill them! Kill them!" Granny Silver scread hysterically.
"I'll pay ten million! Ten million to anyone who gets rid of these jellyfish for !"
No one listened anymore.
No amount of money mattered when survival was at stake.
The Trainers who had been guarding Granny Silver abandoned her imdiately, fleeing in panic. A few, worried about future paynt, dragged her along as they ran.
After smashing the mariti hotel to ruins, the giant Tentacruel did not calm down.
Instead, it turned its gaze toward the city beyond the dock.
Its anger only deepened.
Why was its ho destroyed—while the humans who caused it lived safely behind walls?
If humans could take away their ho, then humans would feel the sa pain.
The ocean began to roar again.
Tsunamis surged forward, racing toward the city.
"Let's move—Ash, Misty, Brock," Sam said grimly.
He had already activated Detective Eye.

Although its raw strength matched Tyranitar's, Sam knew better.
Fighting a creature like this in the ocean would be suicide.
He needed to lure it sowhere else—only then would there be a chance to win.
The safest option was to abandon the mission and escape. With Sam's strength, survival would be easy.
But he hesitated.
Granny Silver and the Trainers she hired deserved punishnt—but the city's civilians were innocent.
This wasn't like the incident on the S.S. Anne.
Team Rocket wanted money.
These enraged Tentacool and Tentacruel wanted destruction—and they wouldn't hold back.
Screams echoed across the dock.
"Help! Soone help !"
"I want to go ho!"
"We were wrong—please stop!"
The pier had turned into chaos.
Trainers who failed to escape were overwheld by the Tentacool flooding into the city, their rage unleashed without restraint.
The sea had delivered its judgnt.
And the disaster was only just beginning.
