The tragic scene before them made Ash hesitate.

The kind-hearted boy couldn't bear it. He instinctively wanted to rush forward and save the Trainers who hadn't managed to escape in ti.

"What are you thinking?!" Sam shouted sharply.

"When they hunted Tentacool for money, they should've thought about this outco! Is it worth risking your own lives—and your Pokémon's lives—to save people like that? I have no interest in saving them!"

With those words, Sam turned around and left without looking back.

Ash opened his mouth, wanting to argue, but Brock shook his head and stopped him.

"Sam is right," Brock said calmly. "Adults are responsible for their own choices. Let's go. What's happening here is no longer sothing we can control."

As the roaring tsunami crashed through the city, Sam's expression remained calm.

He released a Poké Ball.

"Co out, Gengar. Go find Granny Silver."

The citizens of Rampurchi City didn't deserve this.

Were the Tentacool at fault? No—they were only trying to reclaim their ho.

The real culprit was Granny Silver, who destroyed their habitat out of greed—along with the powerful interest groups backing her.

Sam didn't believe she could've done this alone. Without support from high-ranking city officials, such a project would never have passed.

While Gengar searched for Granny Silver, Sam didn't waste ti.

He was looking for a battlefield.

To stop the Giant Tentacruel, Tyranitar needed terrain that suited it.

After moving through the flooded city, Sam finally found the perfect place.

An unfinished building stood at the city's edge, abandoned for years. Thick moss covered the concrete, proof that construction had long been halted.

Only then did Sam let out a quiet breath of relief.

After seawater poured into the city, Tentacool sward everywhere, venting their rage by destroying anything in sight.

Cries for help echoed through the streets.

The city had beco hell on earth.

If the Tentacool weren't stopped soon, Rampurchi City would be completely destroyed.

"Co out, Tyranitar."

Bangitar's expression was solemn.

Inside the Poké Ball, it had already sensed what was happening—and it understood the opponent it was about to face.

This battle placed more pressure on it than the fight against the Giant Dragonite ever had.

Not because the Giant Tentacruel was stronger—but because that battle had been a match.

This one was survival.

Lose here, and death was a real possibility.

"Are you scared, Tyranitar?" Sam asked with a faint smile.

Scared?

Bangitar's lips curled into a cold grin.

It wasn't afraid.

It was excited.

"Tyranitar, aim at the Giant Tentacruel—Hyper Beam!"

The massive size of the Giant Tentacruel gave it overwhelming power—but also fatal weaknesses.

Its enormous body made dodging nearly impossible.

Normally, this wasn't a problem. Its defense was so strong that most Pokémon attacks felt like nothing more than a tickle.

But Tyranitar was no ordinary Pokémon.

An intense beam of energy compressed into a single point and fired straight forward, slamming violently into the Giant Tentacruel.

"ROOOOAAARRR!!!"

Pain—unprecedented pain—drove the Giant Tentacruel into madness.

It thrashed wildly, charging toward Tyranitar, tentacles whipping forward as it tried to crush the creature that dared injure it.

"Ash, look! The Giant Tentacruel is leaving the city!" Misty shouted excitedly.

"It's really moving away!" Ash squinted, his eyes sohow spotting Sam and Tyranitar from afar.

"Misty, Brock, let's rescue people—quickly! Sam has lured it away!"

Watching lives slip away before his eyes, Ash couldn't stand by any longer.

Even knowing the danger, he chose to act.

"Yeah—let's go!" Misty and Brock answered together.

---

Despite its size, the Giant Tentacruel wasn't fast.

Within minutes, it had reached Sam and Bangitar.

Sam took a deep breath, steadying himself.

Even with preparation, facing a monster of this scale was overwhelming.

"Tyranitar," Sam said quietly, "it's our turn."

There was a reason he chose this unfinished construction site.

First—it was far from the city center, minimizing collateral damage.

Second—and most important—

These abandoned buildings would beco Tyranitar's strength.

The ruins themselves would be its weapons.

And here…

the decisive battle would begin.
