Half a month later, when the final chain restraining the Prison Bottle finally snapped, the now free Prison Bottle floated eerily in midair.
The Prison Bottle had long been covered in cracks. Previously, because it had been restrained by the chains, those numerous cracks had not been enough to cause it to shatter.
But now that the chains had disappeared, the cracks spread at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Below it, hundreds of members of Organization Y knelt in worship, with the Master standing at the very front.
With every bow, they loudly chanted the name of Hoopa. As their chants grew louder, the cracks expanded even faster.
Meanwhile, the black mist that had originally blanketed the entire East African region began to continuously shrink. This change quickly attracted the attention of every nation.
Especially when they saw that the black mist had finally shrunk to less than one hundred square kilometers in size, yet its color had changed from its original faint black to an inparably pitch-black shade.
It was a darkness so absolute that even sunlight couldn't penetrate it. Instead, the sunlight itself was being absorbed.
The dense black mist began to rotate slowly like the eye of a storm. A mass of black mist descended toward the ground, and more and more of the mist followed it downward.
It was as though something below was absorbing the mist, and the more it descended, the faster the remaining mist above diminished.
The disappearing black mist hadn't truly vanished—it was all being absorbed by the Prison Bottle.
The absorption of the black mist accelerated the shattering of the Prison Bottle.
Crack! Crack—!!
A series of clear cracking sounds rang out.
Hearing this sound, the members of Organization Y below grew even more frenzied in their chanting.
And when the final crack appeared and stretched from the very top of the Prison Bottle all the way to its base, it split the entire Prison Bottle in two.
BOOOM!!
An ink-black aura engulfed the Prison Bottle, forming a sphere seven or eight meters in diameter. The sphere spun several times in midair before suddenly ing to a halt.
Then the black aura began to fade continuously, as if being devoured by something.
After a dozen or so seconds, the black aura vanished pletely, and in its place stood a giant roughly seven meters tall, possessing six arms.
Each arm was encircled by a golden ring, and in the center of its chest was a hole of absolute, unfathomable darkness.
"You're out! My Lord, you've finally e out!"
This being was none other than the Great Demon God, Hoopa.
Sealed away for hundreds of years, Hoopa had finally seen the light of day again.
"Hahaha! I'm free!"
Its booming laughter echoed throughout the area.
Below, the members of Organization Y gazed upon the object of their faith, now finally standing before them. Their faces were filled with inparable fanaticism.
They continuously chanted the words, "Great Demon God!"
Listening to the voices around it, Hoopa finally lowered its gaze toward the people below.
"You have done well."
Hoopa's eyes settled on the Master. Without her, it might have needed several hundred more years before it could break free.
"My Lord, you are my everything. I am willing to give my life for you."
The Master stepped forward, her face full of devotion.
Hoopa gave a slight nod. Then looking at the Master and all of its followers below, it declared, "This world shall be ruled by me. All the treasures in the world shall be mine!"
"And all of you shall have the honor of guarding those treasures on my behalf."
Hoopa possessed an overwhelming desire for treasures. Despite being a First-class Legendary, it was extraordinarily obsessed with gold and riches.
In order to make all the treasures in the world its own, it had continuously used its abilities to gather priceless possessions while bringing destruction upon the world, which ultimately led to it being sealed by Xerneas and several other First-class Legendaries.
That seal lasted two thousand years. Two thousand years of imprisonment not only failed to diminish its power but instead allowed it to successfully break through to the Forbidden-class.
"My Lord, before that, we must eliminate one person."
"Is it that human from last time?" Hoopa asked.
Although it had still been sealed three years ago, the power of the seal had weakened significantly, allowing it to wield a portion of its strength.
It had used that power to create the Godless Barrier, as well as those thirty Champion-level Pokémon, but both attempts had failed.
In the end, it had even expended part of its own strength, yet it still hadn't managed to kill Julian.
As such, Hoopa still remembered that human quite clearly.
"Yes, that human is called Julian. He himself possesses multiple First-class Legendaries, and he also has very good relationships with several others."
The Master recounted everything she knew about Julian to Hoopa.
The most crucial part of it was the several First-class Legendaries in his possession.
Although she had absolute confidence in Hoopa's strength, the problem was that Julian simply had too many First-class Legendaries by his side.
"They're nothing more than ordinary First-class Legendaries," Hoopa said dismissively.
"First-class Legendary" was merely a general classification.
A First-class Legendary in the early-stage like Jirachi and an existence like Arceus, the creator of world, were both considered First-class Legendaries, yet the difference in strength between them was like sky and earth.
First-class Legendaries could be divided into three stages.
The first stage consisted of ordinary First-class Legendaries.
And among the First-class Legendaries that had appeared so far, the vast majority belonged to this stage.
The second stage was the Forbidden-class.
Forbidden-class Legendaries included Mewtwo after Mega Evolution and the current Hoopa. And First-class Legendaries that reached this level could pletely overwhelm ordinary First-class Legendaries.
The third stage was the Creator-class, and the most well-known example was Arceus.
Although no one had ever seen it, according to the Ancient Stone Tablets that had been excavated and translated, Arceus was consistently referred to by a single title—
The Creator God, possessing the power to create worlds.
While this world hadn't been created by Arceus, the stone tablets recorded that it had indeed created a world of Pokémon.
And for reasons unknown, that Pokémon world had eventually merged with the world Julian lived in.
Just imagining the power required to create an entire world was enough to understand how terrifying such a Pokémon truly was.
At present, the only known Creator-class Legendary was Arceus. Eternatus was probably one as well. As judging purely by base stats, Eternatus actually surpassed Arceus.
Setting the Creator-class aside for the moment, Forbidden-class Legendaries were currently the strongest tier in existence.
That was why Hoopa believed that, even if Julian possessed several First-class Legendaries, they still wouldn't be a match for it.
The gap between a Forbidden-class Legendary and an ordinary one was even greater than the gap between a Champion and a Pseudo-Champion.
For example, the difference between a level 10 Pokémon and a level 15 Pokémon was only five levels, yet the gap in strength was not particularly large. And if properly trained, a level 30 Pokémon could even defeat a level 50 one.
However, the further one progressed, the greater the difference each level made.
Not to mention the gap between First-class Legendaries—the difference between them was far greater than just a single tier.
