The black mist that had mysteriously appeared over East Africa more than half a year earlier had now just as mysteriously disappeared.

The disappearance of the black mist was naturally captured by satellites from every nation.

Ever since the black mist had appeared, satellites from countries around the world had been focused on it, both to monitor the mist at all times and to prepare for any potential danger.

Now that the black mist had vanished, not only did the leaders of every nation fail to breathe a sigh of relief, but they became even more tense.

Its disappearance certainly didn't mean it had truly vanished. Most likely, it had merely undergone another change.

Furthermore, the appearance of the black mist was connected to Organization Y and the Demon God.

Previously, all the nations had learned about Hoopa only from the battle between Julian and the Master three years ago. But they had no clear understanding of how powerful it actually was.

However, they had all assumed it to be extraordinarily powerful.

Then, a year and a half earlier, an Ancient Ruin had been discovered in Maplia. And a large number of stone tablets had been unearthed there, dozens of which recorded events concerning Hoopa and four First-class Legendaries.

The general account was that those four First-class Legendaries had joined forces to seal away Hoopa, who had sought to obtain all the treasures in the world.

The four First-class Legendaries were Xerneas, Regigigas, Lugia, and Mew.

The four of them had worked together to seal Hoopa.

Among these four First-class Legendaries, the only one humanity had yet to discover was Lugia. As for the other three, all of them had some sort of connection with Julian.

Needless to say, Regigigas was currently on the mountain behind Julian's home, while Mew had once been petted by Julian so much that it had nearly gone bald.

Only Xerneas had a somewhat poorer relationship with him.

And none of these four First-class Legendaries had ever displayed their true strength.

However, Regigigas had dragged the Primal Secret Realm out of the depths of the ocean, which alone spoke volumes about its power.

And according to the energy readings taken at the time, Regigigas possessed strength roughly equivalent to a late-stage First-class Legendary. So the other three First-class Legendaries were likely around the same level.

In other words, it had taken four late-stage First-class Legendaries working together to seal Hoopa. That meant Hoopa's strength had been at least at the First-class Legendary Peak.

And what did a Peak First-class Legendary represent?

Among all the First-class Legendaries humanity had discovered so far, the strongest were only a handful, such as Rayquaza, Palkia and Dialga, all of whom were at the late-stage First-class Legendary level.

A Peak First-class Legendary—humanity had simply never discovered such a being before.

Now that the Maplian Ruins contained stone tablets concerning Hoopa, although the records were inplete, they had at least given the leaders of every nation a basic understanding of it.

Especially the understanding of its power had pletely refreshed humanity's current knowledge of the strength of First-class Legendaries.

It had reached peak of First-class Legendary. And that was merely the minimum estimate.

When the black mist first appeared over the East Africa region, the governments of every nation had already suspected that it was connected to Hoopa.

Now, after lingering for more than half a year, the black mist had first shrunk before disappearing entirely.

Needless to say, this too must be related to Hoopa.

'Could Hoopa have already broken free of its seal?'

The thought surfaced simultaneously in the minds of leaders around the world.

However, energy detection instruments hadn't detected any powerful energy fluctuations in the region, allowing them to relax slightly.

Perhaps they were just overthinking things.

The countries that were the most nervous were naturally those on the Northern European continent, which was relatively close to East Africa. Their governments were frantically calling foreign ministries across the world.

Those nations on good terms with Drakoria were even calling the Drakorian Elders Council directly.

Their intentions were obvious—they all hoped to receive Drakoria's assistance, to at the very least reduce casualties within their own borders.

The disappearance of the black mist quickly became known to ordinary people around the world as well, and the internet was flooded with discussions.

---

> "Everything's falling apart! A lot of cities in Northern Europe have already descended into chaos!"

> "What exactly was that black mist? It suddenly appeared and then suddenly disappeared. Why hasn't the government given us an explanation?"

> "When the black mist was there, I wanted it gone. Now that it's gone, I almost wish it was still there."

> "Don't worry too much. Experts say it's a natural phenomenon."

> "Which expert? I just want to have a friendly chat with him."

> "Can Champion Walker please check DMs? So many people are asking about him."

> "Everyone relax. I just got matched with Champion Walker in Pokémon Glory. If he's still in the mood to play games, then the situation can't be that bad."

> "Man, you're so lucky! You actually got matched with Champion Walker. He must've carried you, right?"

> "Slowking wasn't around. Champion Walker, Celebi, and Jirachi fed over forty kills altogether, then had the nerve to say us two random teammates weren't good enough."

Julian had livestreamed his gameplay before, and ordinary players occasionally got matched with him as well.

As a result, the public already had a fairly accurate understanding of just how good—or rather, how bad—his gaming skills were.

Everyone knew that if Slowking was playing, the match was basically won, and Julian would usually end up with an excellent score.

But if Slowking wasn't around, Julian's gaming skills were at the level where people would curse at him, saying, 'I could play better with my feet.'

That was his actual level.

> "Champion Walker just got matched against the No. 1 Ampharos player on the national server. They're streaming right now. You can all go watch Champion Walker's gameplay!"

---

Originally, everyone had been discussing the black mist and the situation in East Africa. But because of that one ment, the topic of discussion naturally shifted to Julian instead.

And no one found it strange.

In the live stream of the rank one Ampharos player in the national server, the viewer count, which had originally been around a hundred thousand, had now surpassed a million and was still rapidly climbing.

"Everyone's here to watch Champion Walker, I know that."

"But unfortunately, Champion Walker isn't my teammate—he's my opponent."

The young streamer glanced at his viewer count, his face covered with a broad smile. An overwhelming stroke of good fortune had finally fallen into his lap.

> "Do you dare solo-kill Champion Walker just once? I'll tip you a hundred thousand for every kill."

There was never a shortage of people in livestream chats who loved stirring things up.

As soon as that ment appeared, countless viewers immediately cheered.

The person making the offer was clearly wealthy. To prove he wasn't joking, he immediately sent a 50,000 donation in advance.

> "If you really solo-kill Champion Walker, I absolutely won't go back on my word."

"My man, just watch carefully. I'll bee an emotionless killing machine," he accepted the challenge without hesitation.

After all, everyone knew Julian loved playing Pokémon Glory.

And it was equally well known that whenever Julian got matched against a streamer, he would inevitably bee the target of relentless focus.

Many streamers had made a fortune simply by encountering Julian in ranked games.

Julian himself had always been very magnanimous about it. As long as someone killed him through skill, he never plained.

Even if four or five players ganged up on him, he would never seek revenge afterward or do anything because of it.

As a result, whenever a Pokémon Glory streamer was matched against Julian, they would practically chase him across the entire map.

And if they happened to be on Julian's team instead, they would do everything possible to help him secure kills—as the viewers in the livestream enjoyed it just as much.
