Sophia knew right away the driver made the biggest fucking mistake but she didn’t say a word... she just couldn’t. Her whole body went stiff as they rolled toward the gate, but the peak fear ca when the turret on the military vehicle started turning toward them and that big ass machine gun pointed straight at their car.
Well in that mont all of them felt their hearts skipping a beat, the fear spread through their bodies and all that could be heard in the car were the short and quick breaths.
But at least the driver did the right thing and hit the brakes stopping the car completely and turning off the engine, before getting fucking mangled by those .50 cal bullets.
Nothing, not even a sound, not even an order being shouted at them... and then light, just blinding light coming from a reflector up on the gate lighting the shit out of the car... and Sophia as well, the others too imdiately shielded their eyes with their hands... but that was the mont when they truly almost shit themselves.
The gangster persona and how powerful she was in that mont just seed to not exist... yeah in that mont she was everything but a gangster and a powerful woman of the underworld, powerful woman of the city... no she was just a shitless scared woman facing a fucking .50 cal machine gun and reflector burning the shit out of her eyes.
Not just that but this lovely atmosphere was paired with the little cutie dogs that were barking like they were ready to eat them alive.
The driver really believed it would be better to die fast than to bleed out slowly.... but now they were about to find out for sure.
"Everybody in the car!" A shout ca from in front of them, though they didn’t see shit because of the light blinding them. "Open the doors and slowly get out with your hands up!" Another shout ca.
"A bit terrifying, isn’t it...?" The driver asked with a strange giggle following it.
"Get out now!" Another shout ca, but it was more threatening than a commanding one.
"Do it." Sophia said as she grabbed the door handle.
But she was careful and cautious with the situation, so she let his n get out first and they did. They slowly opened the door, stepping out with his hands raised and then Sophia followed them, climbing out of the car herself, raising her hands high.
It was the first ti in her life she had listened to cops, really listened, obeyed their orders like her life depended on it. The first ti she had been in a position where she wasn’t in control, where she was the one being cornered, being fucked with, and feeling... kind of humiliated.
She had always been the one acting, controlling, taking charge, but now, she was just... exposed.
"You in the back, step toward the side!" Another order ca, and well, she obeyed it, there was nothing else she could have done.
So slowly, hands still in the air, she moved to the right side to be able to be seen better by the guards, and felt... she felt it pretty much as they were looking because suddenly more light ca her way, like they were fucking checking out his body.
And then she heard the footsteps, those heavy footsteps, and then it stopped... and suddenly all the light went out.
"Ohh, are you Sophia?" The question ca, and with it almost imdiately all the stress went away as she looked at the guard.
"Yeah, I am."
"Why didn’t you make yourself known?" The guard laughed up as he asked the question. "Sorry for this, we didn’t know that it was you."
She didn’t know what the fuck to feel anymore... like looking at the guard in full fucking military gear and that smile on his face, was everything but what she expected... like why the fuck did he seem to be... kinda comforting in his own way... like fucking apologizing to her...
Apologizing to his fucking enemy, who killed many NSBI agents...
What the fuck did you do, Jas... this is crazy... she thought, as it all looked like a hallucination. The guard seed totally chilled out, they didn’t even say anything about the gun on his n’s sides.... the two guns that were visible, and there was no fucking permit for them...
"Follow , our director is already waiting for you." The guard said once again as he turned around. He completely showed his back to her without any fucking worry, like it didn’t matter who she was or what she represented.
While Sophia herself hesitated for a mont of course she did, because it was just too surreal and absurd to be standing outside of the NSBI and being let in by the guards... when they exactly knew who she was.
It was the exact sa mont when she truly understood that Jas did sothing that has never been done before, like truly never had been done before. He truly made a deal, an alliance, or whatever the fuck with the governnt... he truly walked this fucking country like an almighty being... one that is untouchable by the law.
And now she was having the sa experience... being an untouchable one by the law as she followed the guard inside with his n, glancing at the other guards, but they, too, seed not really to give a fuck about her presence. They didn’t stare at her, didn’t even whisper anything... they just stood there like they were waiting for the shift to end.
Though in this big surprise was another very important thing, a critical one... the docunts were left in the car.
"Should I go back for it?" The driver asked as he noticed it, which Sophia nodded to, and he turned around, going back while she, with the other man, finally stepped inside the building at a back door.
And what they saw was... pure chaos.
