Amon had finally co up with a thod of dealing with group attacks!

Normally, he would struggle to handle a few star beasts on his own, like the hordes of lions he previously faced. But this ti... he could just hide swords in the surroundings and use them for a sneak attack.

In such an attack he could definitely eliminate more than a substantial amount of star beasts.

Within a few seconds, more than ten swords materialised and Amon used his tal control gift to shift their location around the portal.

Then, from within the portal, creatures started erging...

Noticing the familiar silhouettes that looked massive and lood over him like the skies, Amon understood it was another round of giants.

’How many this ti?’ he muttered internally as he stared at the portal in curiosity.

In such a short ti he was already at the eighth level. It was truly astounding.

’One... two... five... seven.’ Amon counted grimly and his face beca stern.

Standing in front of the portal, all seven giants glared at Amon with their lifeless eyes.

"Why are you staring at with such hatred like I stole sothing from you?" Amon was exasperated.

Suddenly, a sharp whistle resounded.

Swish. Swish. Swish.

Instantly, before three of the giants could react, the swords Amon had hidden plunged into them ruthlessly.

A chill suddenly spread, freezing the bodies of the star beasts before the others could react.

Amon’s sneak attack had succeeded.

In barely a few seconds, three giant star beasts had been dealt with.

Amon’s smile widened as he quickly created more blades.

Previously, he noted that the limit to the number of blades he could control at a ti was ten, hence the reason he didn’t create more.

Still, the giants were unwilling to give Amon the chance.

Seeing that three of them had fallen the mont the battle started, they didn’t dare let Amon attack them one more ti.

The ground caved in, cracks spreading as three giants leapt toward Amon.

Amon felt so small and insignificant that for a mont his heart skipped a beat, feeling like the beasts might crush him into pieces the instant they landed.

Quickly using his movent art, he took a step as light as a feather, distancing himself from them.

However, the titans were relentless.

Still, at this mont, a strange smile spread onto the corner of Amon’s lips.

Because he finally bought himself a few seconds to complete his creation.

His primordial energy surged wildly as he used his gift.

It seed Amon was frozen in fear due to the giants surrounding him.

However, Amon used his light footwork to try and go around them.

Noticing this common tactic, the giants imdiately stomped their feet on the ground, destabilizing Amon’s movents.

At first, Amon was able to go around them, but gradually he began stumbling and his movent technique couldn’t keep up.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Amon’s eyes widened in fear as he finally ’stumbled,’ falling onto the ground.

Without hesitation the three giants took the opportunity to surround him.

Amon was trapped with no way to escape.

There was a brief panic on Amon’s face before he broke out into a fit of laughter.

"Boom," Amon whispered.

Imdiately, a sharp sword howl resounded in the air.

The giants were shocked, realizing it was the sa tactic as before, but it was already too late.

Swish. Swish. Swish.

Multiple swords embedded themselves into the giants, and in an instant all of them were pierced through.

Amon stood up from the ground and dusted off his clothes while freezing the three giants before turning to the last one.

"Hey big guy," Amon called out, "how do you want to be killed?"

After speaking, he gradually walked toward the giant with a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

In his hand, a sword appeared and it was the sa one that contained snake like patterns.

The giant remained still for a few seconds, causing Amon to narrow his eyes slightly.

As he walked, he noticed a familiar figure.

Reaching it, he pulled with a tug, removing his sword from the body of the giant.

Walking toward the last remaining giant, Amon felt it had given up on the fight entirely.

Still, he was a little unsettled.

He walked with light steps and finally reached the location of the giant.

Cautiously, Amon didn’t dare approach. Instead, he waved his hand, causing the unique swords to fly out with a sharp whistle.

SHINK. SHINK. SHINK.

The swords instantly pierced through the titan without much struggle.

’Just like that?’ Amon was internally puzzled, expecting so form of resistance from the star beast.

He frowned slightly and shrugged as he watched the beast collapse to the ground.

A silent ripple echoed and Amon was finally about to deal with the ninth level.

...

In the outside world.

A bright light erupted into the sky in a searing wave, and so minutes later another bright light erupted.

Everyone was speechless, knowing this could only an one thing.

Amon was now at the ninth level.

"Haha, he’s taking longer than I expected." Damien shalessly declared with a laugh, stroking his chin as though analyzing Amon’s strength internally.

"Hmph. It’s unknown if he can even cross the ninth level." Instructor Simon laughed coldly in disdain, glaring at the behemoth tower.

In his mind though, he was furiously stating all the prayers he could muster so Amon would fail.

He couldn’t lose five artifacts.

And especially not to Damien.

Only god knew how much Amon and his peers would mock him if such a scene played out.

Beneath his robes, Simon clenched his fist tightly and silently prayed.

’Damn you Amon. Just lose and get the fuck out of there.’

Damien smirked at the sight and didn’t say much.

"Just keep watching. My disciple won’t disappoint you. I hope you have the five relics prepared? I think your sword would bring a substantial amount of contribution points."

Hearing Damien’s words about selling his precious artifact, Simon snorted and ignored him.

anwhile, by the side, Natasha’s eyes glowed with brilliance.

If one could sense the vibrant air emanating from her along with the slight tremble of her body, they would understand that...

Natasha was excited.

How did she not know sothing this interesting existed at the academy?

Natasha, as a girl who loved fighting and looking for strong opponents, felt like this was the perfect place for her.

She was rooting for Amon in her heart.

Aside from him completing all ten levels as the instructors had discussed, she also wanted Amon to quickly finish so she could enter and have so fun.

Clenching her fist, Natasha continued waiting patiently, controlling her trembling limbs.

Glancing at Natasha through the corner of her eyes, Helena shook her head.

’This battle freak.’ Helena was speechless at her behavior, but she wasn’t surprised.

’It seems there will be so changes... hmm, Amon, I thought you wouldn’t be an interesting character, but you seem to be altering my plans in many ways.’ A faint smile tugged at the corner of Helena’s lips.

Just then, a bright flash of light erupted and this ti it had a peculiar shine and radiance to it, dazzling all who saw it as it erupted into the sky.

"The... ninth level?" Simon stared up and thought grimly, the scene from all those years ago replaying in his mind.

Everyone was drawn toward the brilliance and understood sothing remarkable had happened.

Amon had cleared the ninth level.

He was now at the tenth.

"Haha..." Damien chuckled, trying to stifle his laughter at the dumbfounded looks around him.

Only he knew Amon’s true strength.

The true strength of soone with a pure soul.

...

anwhile, upon clearing the ninth level, Amon’s breath grew labored.

He breathed heavily as he watched the beast he would be facing on the tenth level.

Strangely, it was just a single silhouette, one that seed a little similar to him, that stepped out from the portal.

Staring at the youth who stepped out with a dazed expression, Amon was bewildered.

"A... human?" Amon’s eyes widened in shock.
