Now reading: Chapter 14: LOGAN ACTING WEIRD from REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO, a Fantasy novel by MdSourav9983.

Logan wanted to try the gravity domain, but he went overboard and directly expanded a 10x gravity domain. And the mont he expanded...

BAM!

He crashed into the ground like a slab of iron hurled from the heavens. The courtyard stones cracked under his knees, dust rising like smoke in slow motion.

Sweat beaded on his brow instantly. His muscles trembled under the crushing pressure.

He gritted his teeth and tried to move.

Nothing.

Ten tis gravity.

It wasn’t intense—it was impossible.

His limbs refused to obey. Even lifting a finger felt like trying to raise a mountain.

"This... was a mistake," he thought bitterly.

He tried summoning fire to his palm. A flicker, a spark—

Poof.

Gone.

Like a breath lost in a storm.

He collapsed face-first into the dirt, panting.

"This isn’t how I imagined it."

Still... he smiled.

Blood trickled from the corner of his lip. Dirt sared his face. His cloak was pinned beneath him, like the world itself had declared war on his spine.

But he smiled anyway.

"This is perfect."

Release.

The gravity field vanished.

And it felt like surfacing from deep water, lungs bursting with relief.

Next Morning.

He couldn’t continue training any longer after the incident the previous day.

Servants whispered as they passed by the training yard. Nobles peeked from balconies with curiosity in their eyes.

There, in the center of the courtyard, Logan was crawling.

Not walking.

Crawling.

He dragged his limbs slowly across the ground. Every movent awkward and twitchy—felt like a polio patient walking with difficulty.

Alice watched from the veranda with wide eyes.

"What’s wrong with him?" she asked softly.

Even Ardyn’s brow furrowed. "Is he... injured?"

Rudeous sneered from behind his cup of tea. "So much for being a prodigy and making my hopes high. Maybe the duel drained him after all."

Only Abraham, the court mage, and Kael from the other corner of the training ground remained silent—eyes sharp with curiosity.

Logan pushed himself up, every vein in his neck standing out like cords. His legs wobbled, knees buckling with each step.

"Two tis gravity..." he whispered to himself. "I can handle it... I have to handle it."

He tried to summon a fireball.

Nothing.

Tried again.

A flicker... then poof.

Gone.

Alice looked disheartened. "Did sothing happen to him? Should we go for a dical check-up?"

Ardyn suddenly stood.

"No," he muttered. "Wait."

He narrowed his eyes.

"He’s not sick. Not injured. He’s—"

"Training..." Abraham finished.

Ardyn nodded slowly.

"He’s used gravity magic on himself. More like creating a domain and standing on it."

Rudeous blinked. "You an like burning oneself with fire? But why in the hell would anyone do that?"

"To temper his body," Ardyn said quietly. "To cast spells under pressure... to break his limits."

Everyone went silent.

In the center of the courtyard, Logan stumbled and fell again.

But he didn’t stop.

Even Darius was astonished. "Up to what length is he willing to go?"

Three Days Later

He moved like a stiff puppet, but this ti—he could walk. Step by step. Each footfall was shaky but determined, and left a light trail behind wherever he passed.

More days passed in the blink of an eye as everyone continued to enjoy this drama from the sidelines.

After 10 Days

Two tis gravity no longer crushed him.

He raised a hand—and summoned a fireball. Small, dim—but alive.

Logan grinned.

"Ti for 3x."

The Cycle Began

With each jump in gravity, his body felt like it was breaking all over again.

At 3x, he barely managed to cast anything. His own weight crushed his posture. His reflexes slowed.

Every audience was in doubt again.

Didn’t he move normally yesterday? I thought he adapted with the gravity.

Then why acting and moving weird again?

Maybe he increased the gravity?

What?! Whispers continued to grow.

But by the end of the 3rd week, under 3x gravity, he could move. Not easily. Not gracefully. But functionally.

And then ca 4x. The sa torture.

Then 5x.

The world beca denser. Every breath a task. Every step in the ground a deep footprint. Every spell a gamble. But the mont he stabilized under one level, he jumped to the next.

No rest.

No shortcuts.

5x. Then 10x.

His body collapsed under the weight. But this ti, he didn’t black out. He crawled across the training yard, arms trembling but steady.

He cast wind blades from the ground.

One fizzled.

The second cut a mark across the stone.

He grinned.

Week 10

Logan now trained, ate, read, and even bathed under the weight of gravity magic.

15x.

20x.

His training attire clung to him, heavy with sweat.

"He’s... still growing."

Everyone continued to watch from the sidelines with amazent—like they didn’t even want to blink for fear of missing the climax of a thriller movie.

Mirena observed from afar.

Kael and Abraham continued their observations as well.

Tension beca Alice’s best friend. Seeing her son trying and experinting with strange training thods every day, she grew more worried with each passing day.

"What is this boy turning into?" Rudeous thought.

Six Months Later

It was already evening.

The moon hung low, casting pale light across the courtyard.

Logan stood alone. By the ti he finished his training, everyone else had already left.

Barefoot. Shirtless. His breath slow. Calm.

"Thirty tis gravity."

Release!

Smoke arose.

He slightly tipped a bit, almost losing balance.

But didn’t collapse.

He stood... like a titan. Muscles tired under continuous strain for the last 6 months.

It wasn’t just physical strength and mana training. To hold a gravity domain for 24 hours every single day, his mind had to fight an endless battle.

But now...

His eyes shone with a glimr. Words can’t explain that shine.

Even being fully exhausted, he felt so light. Like a feather. He looked above. Then bent down—

Boom!

He launched himself into the air.

Stone tiles cracked beneath his feet. The earth trembled.

He soared upward like a cannonball, piercing the sky—until he reached eighty feet. Seven stories above ground.

Logan looked down, shocked by his own ascent.

He was still only a Martial Disciple. Only two stages above Body Refinent. Yet he’d done sothing even Core Realm cultivators struggled to match.

Wind swirled around him like ribbons of awe.

He dropped back to the ground.

THUMP.

No stumble. No injury.

Then he took one step forward, drew his fist back like loading a spring, and released it.

Swoosh!

His punch tore through the air, shattering the sound around it. Ripples spread like waves in a still lake.

Logan stood still, chest heaving. His knuckles smoked faintly.

He didn’t smile.

He didn’t cry.

He simply whispered—

"...Stronger."

And the aftermath of his punch?.....
