anwhile, not far away, Noah and Ali had their own hell to deal with.

All four minotaurs had landed in front of them, encircling the two S-class hunters like predators cornering prey.

Ali spat on the ground, flas dancing around his fists. "Fuck off unless you want to die that badly."

Noah’s usual calm face also twisted with fury as lightning sparked in his palms.

The first minotaur charged, its hamr descending with bone-crushing weight. Ali t it head-on, his fist flaring with fire.

Boom!

The ground split beneath the collision. Sparks flew. The minotaur roared in pain, its hamr cracking under the force.

Two more minotaurs lunged at Noah, weapons storming in unison. He raised his hand, lightning crackling, and with a single motion, a blinding bolt split the air.

Ka-boooom!

The monsters were hurled back, their grotesque bodies smoking.

But the fourth had circled around. It swung its club, aiming to smash Noah from behind.

Ali’s eyes caught it. He twisted, kicking off the cracked earth. His fist blazed as it smashed into the minotaur’s jaw, snapping its head back in a burst of sparks.

On one side, the clash between Gideon’s party and the wyvern raged on, on the other side, the fight between Noah, Ali, and the four minotaurs flared up.

And yet, through the smoke and dust, every eye still strayed toward the crater.

Because deep down, none of them believed Logan was done.

Not yet.

The human-faced creature grew impatient. Its body shifted, ready to leap into the fray.

But just then...

A low hum...

Pressure erupted across the battlefield, heavy and suffocating. It was as if a storm was about to break loose. Every hunter, every monster, felt it. Even the ones fighting far away.

The four minotaurs stiffened instantly, alerted by the surge. Abandoning Noah and Ali, they dashed back toward the human-faced creature, ready to shield it once more.

But before they could reach it, sothing happened.

A blur.

And then...

Through the haze and dust, a bloodied figure stood silently behind the creature.

The human-faced monster didn’t see anything but it had sensed it. It didn’t need to turn. It could feel it.

The malice oozing from behind. The aura that made the air quake. The bloodlust that scread danger.

Shivering, trembling, it slowly began to tilt its head back...

But it never finished the motion. It never even got the chance to see.

BOOOOOOM!

A fist slamd into its back with explosive force.

Swoooosh!

The impact hurled the creature forward, tearing through the air like a broken arrow.

BAM!

It crashed straight into the wyvern, the two massive beings colliding with a thunderous crack.

And together, still tangled from the blow, both monsters were sent hurtling away.

All eyes widened. All mouths hung open. Even the battles raging in the distance had stilled.

Most hadn’t even seen what had happened. But they felt it.

That deafening bang. That overwhelming power that shook the very earth.

Amidst all that...

The four minotaurs were already there, reaching Logan, they had their weapons raised, lunging at him.

Logan lifted his left arm, his elbow braced like a shield. In an instant, a barrier of water and air fused together before him.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Each monster’s weapon slamd down on the barrier with explosive force.

The shield shattered like glass. Logan was sent hurtling back.

But his eyes? They never wavered. Still locked on the human-faced creature. As if nothing else in the world mattered. Not even his own life.

His feet scraped the ground as he was pushed backward. Dirt and stone split open beneath him, a deep trench carving across the earth until finally...

His body ca to a halt.

Blood trickled from the corner of his lips. His clothes were in tatters.

But then...

He charged again. As though pain ant nothing.

The hunters stared, dazed, unable to comprehend what they were witnessing.

But this ti, Noah and Ali moved.

They sprang into action.

"We can’t let him go on like this. If we do, he’ll die for sure!" Ali’s voice rang out, rough with urgency.

Noah’s eyes narrowed as he sprinted forward alongside him. "For so reason... he looks furious. More than furious. Ever since those new five creatures appeared." His thoughts pressed heavily in his mind as his body surged with lightning. "Am I missing sothing? Why is he suddenly so worked up? He was still okay before they had entered."

Logan and the four minotaurs clashed again. Two ice blades materialized in his hands as he weaved through their furious strikes. But even so, facing all four at once was overwhelming.

BAM!

A hamr slamd into his flank just as he dodged another attack...

And then....

Baam!

He was hurled back once more.

But without wasting even a heartbeat, Logan lunged forward again.

So did the four monsters.

This ti, though, Noah and Ali had already arrived.

Lightning bolts crackled from Noah’s palms, zapping two of the minotaurs and blasting them off their feet. At the sa mont, Ali hurled twin air bursts, sending the remaining two monsters flying.

"Aiden, liste..." Ali started, ready to snap him out of his madness. But before he could even finish, Logan blurred past them, his focus unshakable. It was as if he couldn’t even hear.

"Damn that brat! How dare he ignore like that?!" Ali spat, his face darkening.

He sprinted after Logan as well, ready to smack him in the back of the head if that’s what it took to bring him to his senses. But even as an S-class hunter, his speed fell short.

He was shocked beyond words. "What’s with that freakish speed?!"

It didn’t matter how overwhelming a mage’s magic could be. Compared to a cultivator who had honed his body into a living weapon, raw strength and speed would always fall short—not by an inch, but by an unbridgeable gap.

The human-faced creature, staggering back to its feet after the last devastating blow, suddenly froze. Its eyes widened as it saw what was storming toward it.

"Fuck! I’m stronger than him! I know I am! Then why... why does it feel like this?!"

Its limbs trembled. Its voice cracked.

"Why can’t I fight back? Why are my legs shaking in fear?! Why?!"
