Gazel and Sirus slowly stood up, feeling the overwhelming surge of strength coursing through their bodies.

"Hahahahaha!" Both burst into wild laughter.

"This is incredible — amazing!" Euphoria flooded them as they reveled in their newfound power.

"I can feel it," Gazel said, clenching his fists. "My soul has completely rged with this body. I won’t need to switch hosts anymore."

"Sa here," Sirus replied. "I think the problem earlier was that, even though those humans could wield magic and were fairly strong, their bodies were too weak. They could contain our souls only for a short ti."

"Exactly. But these two were cultivators. Their bodies have already surpassed human limits. They can hold our souls perfectly."

"Then let’s return to the dungeon and report everything to the Boss."

With that, both of them headed toward the dungeon. anwhile, Logan had already reached ho, carrying Rowan on the back of the horse.

The mont he stepped down, several guards rushed toward him.

"Young Master! Where have you been? Everyone has been searching for you the entire night. And your friend, the Third Prince, went missing as well."

"Don’t worry," Logan said calmly as he lifted Rowan’s unconscious body from the horse and slung him over his shoulder. "He’s with ."

Without another word, Logan headed inside.

Inside the house, everyone sat in the main hall, exhausted, anxious, and restless after searching the whole night.

"Where could Logan have gone?" Alice asked, her voice trembling. "Does his disappearance have anything to do with those clouds and thunder we saw last night?"

Rudeous wanted to comfort her but didn’t know how. Daliah looked equally devastated. Rowan had been missing too, and her worry had only grown with each passing hour.

Just then, a guard hurried into the hall and announced breathlessly, "The Young Master has returned! And the Prince is with him!"

Hearing the guard’s words, everyone jumped from their seats.

"Logan is back? Where is he?" Alice asked urgently.

"Master..." the guard began, but Logan’s voice cut through the hall.

"I’m here, Mother. I’m sorry for making all of you worry last night." He had left the house abruptly, and with the thunder of tribulation roaring above him, he knew exactly how terrified his family must have been.

Logan stepped into the hall with Rowan in his arms.

"Brother!" Daliah cried out, rushing forward. "What happened to him?!"

Seeing Rowan unconscious, fear washed over her, and she hurried toward Logan.

"Don’t worry. He’s only fainted," Logan reassured her.

He gently placed Rowan on the sofa, making sure not to hurt him even slightly.

"Where were you, Logan? Everyone here was extrely worried," Rudeous finally spoke up.

"I had to leave in a hurry," Logan explained. "I was on the verge of a breakthrough. If I stayed ho, the tribulation would’ve caused damage, so I left for a while."

"Tribulation?!" Rudeous and the others looked equally puzzled. "Don’t tell those clouds and.."

"Yes," Logan finished for him. "When a cultivator reaches a higher realm, they must face a tribulation. It’s a test to prove whether they’re worthy of wielding greater power. If soone unworthy tries to break through, they’ll perish under its might."

"That sounds extrely dangerous, honey," Alice said as she walked up to him and gently caressed his head. "You shouldn’t run off to do sothing like that without warning us. What if sothing happened to you? Next ti, tell us beforehand so we can arrange help... a healer or anyone you might need."

"Of course, Mother. I will."

While Logan was reconnecting with his family, the girl and the young man from Spirit Mountain were running desperately toward the mountain.

"He was very dangerous," the young man said breathlessly.

"You an talented?" the girl replied without slowing down.

"He may be talented... but he feels dangerous."

"Why? Because he didn’t follow us?"

"He killed those two without even blinking."

"I’d say he’s decisive," the girl countered. "If he wanted to kill us, he could have. He only killed them because they deserved it."

"Still," the young man muttered, "anything that can’t be controlled can’t be trusted."

"Don’t forget he awakened the ability to inherit the Golden Dragon’s Legacy. How can soone like that be a pushover?"

The young man fell silent.

After running a while longer, he spoke again. "What was that power earlier? That pressure we felt... it was magic, wasn’t it?"

"Seems like it."

"So he still relies on magic," the young man said. "Without magic, he wouldn’t have beaten them so easily."

"Maybe. Maybe not."

"No, I’m sure. He had only just beco a Martial Saint and had achieved two breakthroughs back-to-back. There’s no way he’s already adapted to his new strength."

"Does it even matter?" the girl said. "He’s a Martial Saint now. That alone says enough about his power."

The young man didn’t respond again. The two simply continued their hurried march toward the mountain.

They continued running toward the mountain, stopping only when they reached a village or settlent where they could catch their breath. After two full days of travel, they finally arrived at Spirit Mountain.

The mont they stepped inside their villa, the elder who had sent them out to search for Logan hurried toward them.

"Chianxu, Xiao... did you find the person?"

"Yes, Father. We found the boy," Chianxu answered.

"Boy?" Elder Wang frowned in confusion.

"Well... he looked about fifteen or sixteen," the young man nad Xiao replied. "So yeah, he was pretty young."

"Are you sure you’re not mistaken?" Wang asked sharply. "I clearly told you — the person facing the tribulation is the one we’re looking for. How can soone that young be him? What realm was he trying to reach?"

"Martial Saint," Chianxu said.

"What?!" Wang staggered slightly, stunned. "A Martial Saint? At that age? Are you two out of your minds? Even if he lived in Spirit Mountain, surrounded by spiritual energy, reaching Martial Saint at that age is impossible. And considering how poor the spiritual energy outside has beco, it’s even more absurd. This has nothing to do with talent — there’s simply not enough spiritual energy to reach that level so early."

"We were shocked too," Chianxu replied. "But if you can’t even believe that, you definitely won’t believe what cos next."

"What else happened?" Wang asked, narrowing his eyes with interest.

"He achieved two breakthroughs at once," Chianxu said.

"What?!" Wang staggered again, utterly flabbergasted. "How is that possible? I am sure now. You two have gone nuts."
