"Huh? Love? How did you know I was ing here?" a surprised voice sounded as the space cracked open.
Then a figure wearing a fancy and expensive-looking outfit appeared.
His white hair fluttered despite there being no wind, a heavy pressure present around him.
Armin ran his gaze all over the place, at the space that had just been sealed, the frozen Zihong.
And finally, Armin's gaze landed over Vritra, a surprised look appearing on his face, not just because of his shockingly attractive appearance.
But something about the black outfit he was wearing gave him a feeling of familiarity.
'I... have I seen something like that somewhere?' he scratched his head, then just shrugged.
Maybe he saw such clothes in the collection of his older brother, he loves collecting expensive and pretty things after all.
In any case, Vritra was just a lower worldly, he didn't even deserve a single glance from him.
So, he turned his attention back towards Evelyn whose expression had shifted pletely, looking extremely unpleasant.
The killing intent was heavy in the space, her eyes carrying a chill.
"WHY. ARE. YOU. HERE?!!" she spoke, each word slowly, barely holding herself back from attacking him.
"Ouch, do you really have to be so heartless? Of course I came here to be with you, is that a problem, my fiance?" with a gentlemanly smile, Armin spoke.
"Oh!" now it was Vritra's turn to be surprised, as he unconsciously called out.
"Fiance?"
His eyes narrowed as he looked at Evelyn, although he didn't want to get involved with her, it still for some reason felt unpleasant.
The last time the woman he loved had a fiance, it almost ended in a very bad manner.
And this woman, she was doing all this despite having a fiance?
"Uhm..." Evelyn froze, her expression growing grave, that was the last thing she wanted Vritra to know.
Of course, he had that title only till Vritra's strength was enough and she didn't have to worry about his safety.
But her heart chilled just upon imagining what Vritra might be thinking, what if he started disliking her?
She had seen how Yennefer's and his relationship almost ended because of a so-called fiance.
"NO!! He is not, he is just a stray dog that keeps annoying me, I would rather gouge my eyes out than take a look at him!!" Evelyn spoke without thinking and in a hurry, the most important thing was to not create any unnecessary misunderstandings.
"Wha... Dog? G... Gouge your eyes? Ugh..." Armin clutched his chest, stumbling back, having just received critical damage.
Wasn't that too harsh? She had ignored him all the time and Armin didn't mind that much.
Her family had even played that trick to make the Garissa family fight against the Asura race, but he didn't mind.
He was ready to go to any length to marry her and knew how to break and rebuild her after marriage even if it meant he had to hurt her.
But what was going on now?
"Hoo." Evelyn calmed down, she had pletely lost her posure earlier.
Armin is like a sly fox, just seeing her reaction he can connect the dots and might trace it to Vritra.
She glanced at Vritra first whose face was pletely expressionless, her heart clenching, then she looked at Armin.
Who seemed pletely lost and baffled, thankfully he couldn't think straight for now either.
'I cannot stay here any longer, damn that pig. He dared to ruin my precious time with my husband!!' Evelyn was feeling extremely angry.
But for now she could not do anything, if she stayed here any longer, it would only reveal her secret.
She took a long look at Vritra, looking longingly. Feeling jealous of all his other women, they could just stay with him.
'Next time, for sure, we will stay together for very long!' she thought with determination.
Divine had helped her create this opportunity, but it got wasted in the end.
With a snap of her fingers, she created a portal then walked into it.
The dazed Armin also turned and left through a separate portal, only her heartbreaking words ringing in his heart.
As the most talented in his family, when had he ever been called that?
So he was only a dog in her eyes? It seemed she was not aware of his excellence, then the fight with that brute would be the perfect opportunity.

And thus, they were gone, things returned to normal.
Now only Vritra and Zihong were left there standing in the endless dark space.
"W... What just happened? I am alive?" Zihong broke out in sweat, looking all over himself, unable to remember anything.
'So she has a fiance...' Vritra thought, staring at the portal for a moment longer.
Putting the matter to the back of his head for now, he looked at Zihong, he still needed to deal with this.
But now he was no longer interested in fighting with him.
"Hoo, I don't know what happened, but I guess it is time to end our battle." Zihong spoke, his expression being ferocious.
Vritra somehow had managed to get free from that cocoon but he had many more treasures.
"Sigh, let's wait a bit and just chat, I am sure you are tired too." Vritra spoke as he just sat back.
Zihong was on alert, wondering if it was some trick, still he didn't launch any attacks yet.
"So, what exactly was it that you were searching for so madly that you even got trapped on Zoratian planet?" Vritra asked.
"...Fine, since you are going to die anyway, consider it your dying wish." Zihong said, and relaxed a bit.

"It was the Divine's skills, and that guy, the creator of glyphs." He added.
"Rodrick Mech? If I remember correctly, the creatures called Grieves were also searching for him." Vritra shared.
"Oh, you have met them, they were something I had released to search for Rodrick Mech." Zihong said, reminiscing about old days.
A confused look appeared on Vritra's face as he asked: "But those Grieves were acting as if Rodrick had annihilated all their fathers or something, they seemed to have some innate hatred towards him."
"Haha. Just like their name says, they are grievous creatures, giving them a target for their grief is the only way to control them. But it seems while I was gone, their memories and story got distorted, but they didn't forget their original goal. Did they succeed?" Zihong questioned, he couldn't be the only one answering.
"No, they didn't, all of them were wiped out by me." Vritra replied, it felt better to solve old mysteries.
No wonder those creatures acted so crazy about catching Rodrick Mech, even getting their entire race annihilated.
"What a pity, but about those abilities of the Divine, have you met him? How did you get them?" that was something Zihong was even more curious about.
"Of course I have met him, in fact he was here just some time ago, maybe he still is." Vritra shrugged.
But his words brought a massive shock to Zihong's face, Divine really is a big deal outside.
