Alice Turner walked ahead, leading Sophie Snow into the coffee shop, where she found a relatively quiet spot for them to sit down.

She generously asked for Sophie Snow’s opinion and ordered coffee for both of them.

"I hope you won’t tell Benjamin Shaw about why I called you here today, or what I’m about to say will be aningless." Before discussing the main matter, Alice Turner cautioned Sophie Snow with an early warning, not out of fear that Sophie would tell Benjamin Shaw about the eting, but to avoid her plan being ruined.

Sophie Snow couldn’t figure out what Alice Turner had up her sleeve, staring at her in confusion for a long while without understanding what was going on. However, seeing Alice’s earnest and sincere expression, she nodded: "I won’t tell Benjamin."

She deliberately addressed him so intimately to show Alice Turner sitting opposite her how close her relationship with Benjamin Shaw was.

But in reality, the only person who truly understands their closeness is herself.

"That’s good."

Alice Turner was indifferent to Sophie Snow’s show of force. It didn’t bother her whether Sophie Snow called Benjamin Shaw "Benjamin" or even "husband" right in front of her, because that man held no value to her.

Initially, Sophie Snow thought Alice Turner was pretending to be calm and deliberately acting indifferent, but after watching for a while, it seed that wasn’t the case.

Now she was a bit puzzled. What was up with this woman? Why wasn’t she angry when she faced her? And why was she so calm after hearing how she addressed Benjamin Shaw?

Sophie Snow’s confusion and surprise were written all over her face, which Alice Turner noticed clearly. Under Sophie Snow’s puzzled and surprised gaze, she spoke again: "I’ve already filed for divorce with Benjamin Shaw, only..."

"You’re divorcing Benjamin?!"

Alice Turner’s words left Sophie Snow utterly shocked, causing her to interrupt Alice with an exclamation, drawing disapproving and curious looks from other guests and the waiter.

Alice Turner had anticipated Sophie Snow’s reaction and wasn’t surprised at all. She glanced disapprovingly at the startled Sophie Snow, "This is a coffee shop, please be mindful."

The next thing she planned to say would shock the woman even more, and she felt it was necessary to remind her, or they might be disliked by other guests later.

Even though there weren’t many guests at the mont, such behavior was still inappropriate, and she didn’t want to be kicked out.

Because of Alice Turner’s reminder, Sophie Snow suddenly realized her reaction had been overly dramatic, though it wasn’t due to the guests or waiters watching her but rather feeling like a fool in front of Alice Turner.

"I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose, but what you said was just so..." Unbelievable! She quickly stopped herself from saying "unbelievable."

This woman was remarkable, shifting all the bla onto her.

Alice Turner glared gloomily at Sophie Snow; if she didn’t need the woman’s cooperation, she wouldn’t be wasting ti with her now, "Don’t interrupt again and avoid saying anything unnecessary, or I can’t guarantee I’ll finish in two hours."

What she intended to say wouldn’t even take half an hour. Her words were ant to prevent the woman opposite her from getting too surprised.
