Now reading: Chapter 1041: I Think You Should Do Your Part Too from Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap, a Romance novel by Yang Gege.

Because of Benjamin Shaw, Sophie Snow is full of hostility towards Alice Turner and has no likability for her. She even openly shows her animosity on her face, "Say what you want to say quickly, otherwise I’m going back to work. I don’t have ti to be idle like you."

Despite saying this, she didn’t actually intend to get up and leave.

"If you want to stay as things are with Benjamin Shaw, then go ahead, I promise not to stop you." Alice Turner looked at Sophie Snow with annoyance—does this woman have any brain? Trying to threaten her—does she seem like soone who can be easily threatened? Was she soone who has never seen much of life?

"You..."

Sophie Snow gritted her teeth in anger, unable to say anything beyond that single word.

Alice Turner didn’t plan to let it go, and sharply shot back, "If you don’t want to leave, then listen to obediently."

That man surely has more than just this one woman around him. She thought there must be other won with ill intentions towards him—she is not necessarily fixated on this one woman.

"Then hurry up and say it."

Sophie Snow hated Alice Turner sitting across from her, but if she wanted to develop further with Benjamin Shaw, she had to suppress her hatred, vowing that she would settle this score with this woman eventually.

Alice Turner could see that Sophie Snow was already growing impatient. She also knew that the woman across from her held no goodwill towards her, filled with deep-seated hostility.

Yet she didn’t care about any of this, none of it impacted her in the slightest. She glanced at the impatient woman and slowly started speaking, "Although I have already proposed divorce to Benjamin Shaw, he hasn’t agreed. I..."

"He..."

Upon hearing that Benjamin Shaw didn’t agree to the divorce, Sophie Snow couldn’t hold back and spoke up, but seeing Alice Turner’s displeased look directed at her, she imdiately stopped speaking.

Seeing her gesture was effective, Alice Turner continued, "I am definitely going to divorce Benjamin Shaw. To make room for you quicker, I think you should contribute as well, that way it can be more effective."

She stopped at this point, quietly watching the woman sitting across, waiting for her response.

"How can I contribute?"

Sophie Snow grew intensely interested in this topic. Seeing Alice Turner wasn’t continuing, she impatiently asked.

Alice Turner beckoned Sophie Snow over with a gesture, indicating her to lean in closer, and she did so. After the two were closer, Alice Turner spoke at length to Sophie Snow.

Listening to Alice Turner speak at length, Sophie Snow’s eyes began to sparkle, and she unknowingly beca excited.

"Will this really work? Will Ben really marry ?" After Alice finished, Sophie Snow expressed her doubts. Although what the woman said sounded credible, she still had concerns.

"It’s all up to human effort."

Alice Turner responded to Sophie Snow with just four words—nothing is guaranteed to succeed, but she believes that with effort, success could be possible.

Hope isn’t the reason to strive and persist; rather, striving and persisting creates hope.

This has always been Alice Turner’s motto. Whenever she encounters setbacks and difficulties, she silently reads this line until she’s encouraged again.
