Sophia Wood pointed at the glass of water Alice Turner had just placed on the coffee table, indicating for Thomas Fisher to drink it. After signaling, she sat down next to Christopher Turner.
Thomas Fisher responded with a smile: "Got it, Auntie."
Her mom likely had no objections to them being together, seemingly even quite pleased.
Her dad had a good impression of him too. From their earlier conversation, he sensed that her dad probably already guessed their relationship and had been probing him with questions.
Lily Turner glanced at the four seated individuals, placed the plate of fruits on the coffee table, and moved to sit alone at a side, trying to minimize her presence without interrupting their conversation.
"Lily! Why are you sitting so far away?" She wanted to lower her presence, but soone wouldn’t let her.
Alice Turner got up, walked over, and sat next to Lily Turner, choosing to sit with her sister while leaving a certain man to her parents to entertain for a while.
"Distance creates beauty," Lily Turner joked playfully with a smile.
