Thomas Fisher took several bites of rice before the spicy taste in his mouth subsided. After catching his breath, he tilted his head and asked Alice Turner, "Why do you love spicy food so much? Have you loved it since you were a kid?"
He couldn’t handle the spiciness of the dish at all. How on earth did she manage it?
"I guess so. From the ti I can rember, I’ve been eating spicy food," Alice Turner replied. She didn’t really know why she loved spicy food so much, she just did. Whether she was eating rice or noodles, she always added chili.
Without chili, she felt the food lacked any sort of flavor. She just had to eat spicy food.
Thomas Fisher nodded knowingly. Eating spicy food from a young age explained why she enjoyed it so much. He wouldn’t dare to try it easily; it was way too spicy.
"Does your family love spicy food too?" Given how much she loved spicy food, he thought her family must be the sa.
"My mom and Lily are like you, they don’t eat anything spicy. My dad can eat so but not as much as I do," Alice Turner clarified, disproving Thomas Fisher’s assumption. Sophia Wood and Lily Turner preferred sweets and not spicy foods, while Christopher Turner and Alice Turner both enjoyed spicy food, but Christopher Turner couldn’t keep up with Alice.

"What are you thinking about while staring at ?"
After a long ti without hearing Thomas Fisher speak, Alice Turner curiously tilted her head to look at him, discovering him staring blankly in a daze. She reached out to push him slightly, "Are you trying to not let eat well by staring at like that?"
She touched her cheek. Was there sothing strange on her face?
"Alright, I won’t stare at you now. After we finish eating, I’ll look again," Thomas Fisher put away the images in his mind and withdrew his gaze from Alice Turner. He stopped looking at her to avoid distracting her from eating and instead picked up his chopsticks to continue dining.
Seeing the man agreeably returning to his al, Alice Turner was quite surprised, but she didn’t worry too much about the situation, and continued eating her al.
Due to the fiery spicy experience earlier, Thomas Fisher didn’t dare to try any more spicy dishes and obediently ate the dishes without chili. He was content watching her enjoy her spicy food.
The two focused on eating without chatting aimlessly.
The al started in a lively manner but ended in silence.
After the al, Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner left the restaurant. Once outside, they headed straight for his company.
About forty minutes later, the car drove into his company’s underground parking lot.
"Co on, let’s check out my office." After parking the car, Thomas Fisher was the first to get out. As he walked over, Alice Turner also got out from the other side, and he imdiately took her hand, leading her towards his private elevator.
Alice Turner surprisingly didn’t refuse, allowing Thomas Fisher to lead her into the elevator. Watching the numbers rise steadily on the elevator display, her mood unexpectedly beca excited.
Her lack of refusal already surprised and delighted him, and the way she obediently let him lead her made him overjoyed. He tightened his grip on her hand, afraid if he let go, she’d suddenly disappear.
